Pelosi's election statements worry some Republicans

Some Republicans are concerned that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi keeps saying that the Democrats are “in great shape” to keep their Congressional majorities. She told one interviewer that they’re going to win and you can “take it to the bank.”

Of course, after a couple of years with them in charge, nobody has anything to take to the bank anymore. But there are worries that Pelosi was telegraphing that “the fix is in.” Maybe with early voting falling on Halloween, they’ve arranged for all the dead people to rise from the graveyards and vote Democrat. While I wouldn’t discount that possibility, it’s worth noting that Republicans have passed more voter integrity laws and there are many more volunteers ready to watch polling places this year. After 2020, they know what to look out for, what to record, and to refuse to leave when they have the right to witness what’s being done.

Also, Pelosi has a history of predicting Democrat victories before every election, even ones where they’ve been wiped out. Let’s hope she’s just whistling past the graveyard, in hopes that dead people will take it as a sign to rise up and vote.

    As a 70 year old Michigan voter who will be at the polls in person voting completely red, I'm still not convinced the integrity we hope is there with the counts really will happen. We also have 3 awful propositions that have hidden agendas. I hope the voters in Michigan are smart enough to do their research, but I have my doubts. Will have to wait and see.

    The irony of the timing, your article only to be shocked by the attack on her husband!
    What comes to my mind is the sadness of this whole situation. The Pelosi's position is public and are subject to the unusual situations including criminals, the risk factor with the lifestyle. No doubt, Mike, you have had your close calls, too (not the Clintons!). But seriously, they should have been as diligent as possible, knowing.
    On the other part, her speaking leaves much to be desired. It seems to have gone to her head, not fact checking what she says. More time in serious discussion with ordinary people (like us) will bring in more reality (not a threat at all). Personally, I think the power of the position is all that matters to her and the quest to leave her legacy, no matter what.

    I think you are exactly right- the poor guy needs rest and to recoup, how they wanted to keep his health as a big secret is truly despicable-but you know it’s exactly what we have come to expect from the dems-no morals, values, don’t play by their own rules, so republicans will need to step up their game, be one step ahead- and by all men’s call it like you see it, Election Day have someone with authority or a camera on yourself, if you see something suspicious, call it in…. Report it….. and record it!!!! We all need to stand together and make sure things are done properly! Thanks for supporting America, This is after all gods Country!

    With early voting reality in Virginia and much of country Pelosi is affirming the Fix is already in the box and if she is tragically right country really is done for

    In my opinion, Pelosie’s statement is an indication that her party has already planned for illegal, most likely, false votes to sway the results. Close monitoring of the election is absolutely necessary.

    Even my daughter who was formerly very far left said that she is fed up with everything the democrats have been doing since Biden got in office and will be voting straight ticket Republican. So, if the Republicans do not win in a Red Tsunami that will be proof enough that the Democrats have cheated yet again.

    Please pray that people guarding against election fraud and armed and ready to stop as much as possible. We're not going to caught by surprise. 2020 the Democrats did something so unimaginable with the votes, hopefully the American people are ready for them. I'm not sure since there is imaginations of the evil are hard to predict.

    i read here or somewhere that the dems are full-bore demonizing republicans so as to discredit and disqualify (even arrest?) republican poll workers who "interfere" with the election for the slightest reason (or a made-up reason). we've seen how dem-controlled counties and states are good at getting elections to go their way. they had a plan in 2020 and it worked. you can bet they've got a new plan for 2022.

    Nancy Pelosi has been singing this tune for quite some time. She was asked the same question in the summer of 2021and gave very similar response. I believe that the people in power in both the government as well as many in the media, have no desire to relinquish that power and control and will do whatever is necessary to maintain their positions. I believe that if the election is fair, honest and legitimate there will be significant changes. I have little confidence in the legitimacy of the people running the elections or most media folks.

    More laws may have been passed but many states broke the laws that were already in place with no real consequences it seemed in the last election. I don’t have much confidence. ??

      i read here or somewhere that the dems are full-bore demonizing republicans so as to discredit and disqualify (even arrest?) republican poll workers who "interfere" with the election for the slightest reason (or a made-up reason). we've seen how dem-controlled counties and states are good at getting elections to go their way. they had a plan in 2020 and it worked. you can bet they've got a new plan for 2022.

      Nancy Pelosi has been singing this tune for quite some time. She was asked the same question in the summer of 2021and gave very similar response. I believe that the people in power in both the government as well as many in the media, have no desire to relinquish that power and control and will do whatever is necessary to maintain their positions.
