Today's Commentary ---  Our Top Story: BREAKING NEWS: FISA Court says FBI lied to them, illegally spied  --- "Huckabee" preview -- Our #2 story --- Our #3 story -- Our #4 story --- Our #5 story --- Quotes from our Presidents -- Chief Big Plans -- Fighting back is bad -- Evening Edition -- Daily Verse

On Wednesday night’s “Ingraham Angle,” there was a magnificent discussion about the sham Trump investigation with Rudy Giuliani, Joe diGenova and former Whitewater independent counsel Robert Ray that absolutely must not be missed, and I say that not because I was subbing for Laura Ingraham at the time.

After being on defense –- with his hands legally tied –- for the first two years of his Presidency, President Trump is finally able to go on offense, as he can no longer be accused of “interfering with the Russia investigation.” But something else is afoot as well, according to deGenova, and here is the tremendous breaking news: The FISA court has been looking into abuses of the FISA system and has communicated with the Justice Department about its findings. Their chief judge has already determined that for more than four years before the election of Donald Trump, there was an illegal spying operation (yes, SPYING –- and, yes, ILLEGAL) going on by four FBI contractors to break the law to steal personal electronic information about American citizens and to use it against the Republican Party.

With gratitude,

"Huckabee" preview

By Mike Huckabee

Tonight’s new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN is one you’ll want to DVR and keep for posterity.  Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton will fill us in on some crises simmering around the world. Greenpeace founder and sensible environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore will take on the “Green New Deal.”  You’ll meet a Huck’s Hero who’s standing up to bullies; best-selling author Eric Metaxas will reveal some exciting news; and we’ll enjoy music from the great harmony group, State of Grace, plus all our usual commentary, crazy news “In Case You Missed It” and more.

But brace yourself: I’ll also welcome a very special guest: comedian Roseanne Barr. The woman who revolutionized sitcoms and gave blue collar Trump voters a voice on network TV (scoring the highest-rated show of 2018), only to be fired over one tweet.  Roseanne is back, feisty and hilarious as ever, on her “Alive and Kicking” stand-up tour, and she’s dropping by to tell us her story in her own inimitable way.

This “do-not-miss” show airs tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, only on TBN. To find your local TBN channel and stream previous episodes online, visit

Our #2 story:  Tune out the table pounding

By Huckabee staff

It’s possible you’ve had a hard time this week keeping up with the shrill Democratic attacks on Attorney General Bill Barr (is it really an impeachable offense to allegedly not include in your four-page summary every nuance of a 400+ page report that had already had been released long before the hearing?)  If so, then a good way to catch up with the Democratic leadership’s public descent into infantilism would be to read the excellent summary of this week’s Mueller report-related events by Harmeet K. Dhillon at Fox News.  It will fill you in quickly on what happened and what’s likely to happen next.

If I had to guess the next stage of Democratic reaction after anger and panic, I’d say it will be the “rats leaving a sinking ship” phase.  People who engaged in illegal activities to spy on, undermine and frame Donald Trump and his staffers will start offering to implicate higher-ups in exchange for immunity deals. Fear of that is the real reason for the ever-more-hysterical attacks on Barr, as well as the media’s helpful amplifying of those attacks and their efforts to get the most damaging information out with the most positive spin on it, to try to soften the shock and anger when Barr's finding go public. Remember, these media outlets could have done their job as journalists, dug up the truth and published it two years ago, but they were too busy trying to convince you that the President was a Russian agent who was about to be arrested.

Our #3 story: Steele told State Dept: "client" needs dossier out before Election Day

By Mike Huckabee

Everything you know is wrong.

That’s what I'd say to all compulsive consumers of mainstream media, especially CNN, MSNBC and the New York Times, and also those who use social media to “curate” the news that comes to them. For me, knowing what I know after many months of following all the details of the “Trump/Russia” investigation, this “news” is virtually unwatchable, as even a few minutes’ exposure is enough to make me physically recoil, like a health nut being pressured into trying to smoke his first –- and last –- cigarette. Get me away from this. Never again.

Unfortunately, lots of people get through that first puff and become addicted right away. How do I know so many Americans are “in the bubble,” brainwashed and wildly misinformed? Well, incredibly, a new Rasmussen poll reveals that even now, 57 percent of Democrats believe that President Trump is guilty of treason. TREASON. Only 14 percent think he is not; 29 percent aren’t sure. This is no doubt because the anti-Trump media are still prattling on, nonstop, that Trump “colluded” with good buddy Vladimir Putin. It doesn’t even matter that the special counsel investigated for almost two years with the most viciously anti-Trump team he could possibly assemble and still could not make a case for that. Here are the details of the poll:

Our #4 story: BREAKING NEWS: PROOF that Comey FBI committed deliberate FISA fraud

By Mike Huckabee

At this point, it is incontrovertible that the FBI deliberately misled the FISA court to get a warrant to spy (yes, SPY) on the 2016 Trump campaign.

On Thursday night, according to investigative reporter John Solomon at THE HILL, Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina confirmed with government officials that State Department notes about Christopher Steele’s partisan goals for his “dossier” were indeed transmitted to the FBI before they applied for the FISA warrant. By the time they applied for the warrant, they were in possession of four pieces of information that discredited Steele’s “evidence.” Here’s how Solomon breaks it down:

Our #5 story this week: Yet another reader comment, this one unnecessarily huffy

By Mike Huckabee

From Gary:

Been watching C-Span, carrying the House Judiciary Committee workings on the Barr statements --- this is unbelievable! I watch BOTH Dems and Republicans act like children having their candy stolen from them –-- even a 5-year-old would not shoot the barbs these worthless wastes of skin are shooting. The chairman (please notice the LOWER CASE) , is a stupid individual; he cannot adhere to parliamentary procedure rules and restricts debate --- there appears to be NO oversight to this restrictive behavior. You want obstruction, this is it.

As soon as I say stupid, this post will not be published. This is my opinion –-- I have the right. [If] You don't publish this, you are no better than the jerks you decry.

Quotes from our Presidents

“If you see ten troubles coming down the road, you can be sure that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you.”
Calvin Coolidge

Chief Big Plans

By Mike Huckabee

It’s long been said that it’s impossible to make political jokes anymore because no matter how crazy a gag you think of, it will be real before you can tell it. Well, here’s another one I’ll have to retire.

Often, after writing of one lame-brained, leftwing big government proposal or another and noting its cost, I’ll ask facetiously, “Is there that much money in the entire world?”  Well, Elizabeth Warren has now rendered even that mild joke obsolete by actually proposing to spend more money than there is in the entire world.

Fighting back is bad?!?

By Mike Huckabee

Just yesterday, I wrote about the sea change in response to would-be mass shooters, in which heroic citizens refuse to just sit there and be victims, and instead fight back.  What a surprise: there’s already a backlash from liberals “concerned” that we are “setting our kids up to be martyrs."

I don’t want any kids to be martyrs, but fighting back is better than acting like sitting ducks, which is the policy preached by the left.  There is a solution that could stop them from having to be sitting ducks or martyrs.  But it involves pro-active policing of threats, allowing guards or teachers to be armed, and getting rid of magical thinking “gun-free zones” (which let criminals know that all law-abiding citizens within will be unarmed.)  These are the proposals suggested by experts who studied the Parkland shooting.  Continuing to deny them will only continue to make our kids martyrs to adults’ refusal to face reality.

Daily Verse (KJV)

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Not once did I hear the I-RANian abASSador ask or say "please remove your US troops and ships" to the President. Doesn't he know (as an abASSador), you get more flies with honey than with vinegar?

Thank you again for this wonderful newsletter. After 2 years of endless attacks and libel against Trump and everyone that supports him, I see headlines and turn the channel, or the page, or shut down my computer. I am putting the media in a time out chair -until they will sincerely apologize for their behavior, calm down and act civilized. What you tolerate will continue, and these tantrums by the losing party will get no audience from me. Growing up watching real news, makes it depressing to know these people consider themselves journalists and reporters. Keep up the good work!
