Speaking on Tuesday’s HANNITY, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee Doug Collins of Georgia had something particularly telling to say about next week’s impeachment “inquiry” testimony. (Yes, poor forgotten Jerrold Nadler finally gets to chair some hearings.) It has to do with the new direction Democrats are taking in the coming weeks.

“Do you know how I know they don’t really have anything?” Collins asked. “Because this first hearing next week is...they’re gonna bring academics in to tell us what an impeachable offense is. I’ll tell you what an impeachable offense is NOT: it’s everything we’ve seen from Adam Schiff and the Democrats for the past year as they’ve attacked a very successful President who is simply doing the best job for America...Next week, get ready! I’ve said this before: “Judiciary Show,” the lights are gonna come on, get the popcorn ready, ‘cause it’s now time to actually get down to business...”

According to Collins, next week Adam Schiff “has to testify.” Since Schiff essentially took the role of Ken Starr, the reasoning goes, he should follow Starr’s lead and come in for questioning about his case. “Maybe he can do a little better, without the gavel in his hand, telling the truth...about what his involvement was in this whole thing, and also where he’s going with his plan.” Collins said. He’s more optimistic than I am about Schiff testifying before the House --- let alone telling the truth.

Quick observation from Laura Ainsworth:

By Laura Ainsworth

In looking through the comments on George Soros and Dr. Fiona Hill, I noticed that some readers have picked up on certain aspects of Dr. Hill's demeanor. So have I.

Here's how I describe my impression of Dr. Hill: If I were casting a production of THE CRUCIBLE, a play by Arthur Miller about the Salem witch trials, she would be perfect to play one of the small circle of women in the town who, with deep concern, seek out witches to condemn. She's already in character, with her square-jawed, tight-lipped seriousness, and there would be little for us to do with her appearance except put her in a somber Puritan dress and apron and a prim white cotton cap. Presto..."Goody Hill." How appropriate for this witch hunt.

Even the accent fits, as the Puritans had not long before arrived here from "across the pond."  Dr. Hill might have missed her era, but at least our own is in some ways reminiscent. How nice for her that in 2019 she gets to participate in the Democrats' witch hunt, point her finger a lot (at Russia, not Ukraine) and also to expose “tinges of anti-Semitism” --- on TV yet, which didn't exist in the 1600s.  The one irony here is that "Goody Hill," in defending Soros, seems eager to dance with the Devil.

I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:

Chalk up another economics lesson learned the hard way for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – and especially for anyone dumb enough to listen to her.  AOC fired up the employees of a New York solar power company to unionize.  The company decided it couldn’t afford the workers’ demands, so after four years of hiring fulltime employees, they’re letting all their workers go and returning to using subcontractors.

Naturally, AOC is ranting that the company is anti-“justice,” but news flash: companies aren’t in business to impose social justice.  They’re in business to make a profit, and when they can’t do that, they go out of business.  As blogger Warner Todd Houston points out at the link, the moral to this story is, “Never take career advice from a socialist.”

Another day, another Obama-appointed federal judge rules against President Trump on a power that would never be questioned if it were invoked by Obama.  I’ll have more to say about this later, after the ruling on appeal, because of course, it’s being appealed.

My daughter Sarah, who was taught to be polite and speak to everybody, spoke to the New York Times in a story that ran on Sunday.  It discusses her possible future plans in politics.  Sorry, I don’t have any inside information.  But if she drops any announcements over the Thanksgiving turkey, you’ll be the first to know.

Could it be that some of the most reliably liberal, viscerally anti-Trump people in comedy are finally starting to come around and understand why many Trump voters relish it when he rejects the left’s whining PC attacks and mocks their scolding nonsense?

Fun video:  Someone went to a lot of effort turning President Trump’s rally speech into a Steely Dan-style cool jazz song.  Definitely worth a listen:

Bible Verse of the Day (KJV)

"He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour."

- Proverbs 21:21

No impeachment. Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler should be impeached themselves , removed from Congress with no possibility of return.

I just listened to Candace Owens with Katy Talento.

Guys, this is big!  Listen to the content of what Katy has to say about transparency in medical billing.  If this is a big push in Trump's administration, it WILL CONNECT with every American.  This struck a nerve for me.  I work for a large and successful company with exceptionally good health benefits.  It is actually common on our facebook pages to have families not only still battling for coverage they should have, but also our insurance covering clearly ridiculous bills on our part.  I'm telling you, this is a subject that will resonate with everyone!  And it completely pursues a market approach to healthcare relegating Obamacare and medical for all, irrelevant.  I really believe this topic would be a winner in this environment and give us a whole new and optimistic topic of discussion.  Please dig deeper and shine the light of truth brighter!!!  Your work is appreciated!

I read your messages every day and have been a supporter for years.

Thank you for all you do!!!!!

I tape and watch your show, of course, as well as Hannity, and Laura Ingraham and see you fairly often in segments. I was particularly pleased to see your daughter's smiling face on last evening. Loved the reference to her pie making ability and know you will be enjoying one of those on Thanksgiving. Let us know which one so we can enjoy vicariously that a good word? Blessings to you and your family.
