First, a surprise, as who would've thought the best video shown all weekend would be on ABC’s Sunday show with George Stephanopoulos?

Not because of Stephanopoulos, of course, but of how Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul responded to him after being asked the leading, litmus-test question, “This election was not stolen. Do you accept that fact?”

To his everlasting credit, Sen. Paul did not play along with the Leftist Inquisition, saying instead that “the debate over whether or not there was fraud should occur,” that there was never any presentation in court of the evidence and that lawsuits were dismissed not for lack of evidence but “for lack of standing, which is a procedural way of not actually hearing the question.”

Sen. Paul detailed some of the “clearly” unconstitutional ways in which laws were changed by courts and secretaries of state –- as opposed to state legislatures –- before November. He said there was still a chance that “some of these actually do work their way up to the Supreme Court.”

"...Yes, were there people who voted twice? Were there dead people who voted? Were there illegal aliens who voted? Yes, and we should get to the bottom of it.” There’s also the failure to purge voter rolls of ineligible people.

Stephanopoulos was having none of it, of course, and kept interrupting. “No election is perfect,” he said, “but there were 86 challenges filed by President Trump and his allies in court; all were dismissed.” (He apparently didn’t hear Sen. Paul just explain why they were dismissed.)

"Can’t you just say the words, that this election was not stolen?” Stephanopoulos insisted.

Sen. Paul did not cave to the pressure and left it an open question. “What I would suggest is that if we want greater confidence in our elections, and 75 percent of Republicans agree with me, is that we do need to look at election integrity...”

"Well, 75 percent of Republicans agree with you because they were fed a BIG LIE by President Trump and his supporters, who say the election was stolen,” Stephanopoulos replied in his usual role of Democrat Party shill. “Why can’t you say, ‘President Biden won a legitimate and fair election’?”

Paul called him out on this: “George, where you make a mistake is that people coming from the liberal side like you, you immediately say everything’s a lie instead of saying there’s two sides to everything...”

This went round and round, with Stephanopoulos using faulty logic to say that because the election was “certified,” it wasn’t stolen. Paul went into the specifics of what happened illegally in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

"I plan on spending the next two years going around from state to state and fixing these problems,” Paul said, “and I won’t be cowed by liberals in the media who say, ‘There’s no evidence here –- you’re a liar if you talk about election fraud!’ No, let’s have an open debate; it’s a free country.”

Stephanopoulos continued with his “These go to 11” responses (see the movie SPINAL TAP if you don’t get the reference), and was so sure there is no room for the slightest question that he even said “there are NOT two sides” to this story. Paul never backed down. “You’re forgetting who you are as a journalist,” he told Stephanpoulos. (Unintentional humor alert: Sen. Paul refers to Stephanopoulos as a journalist.) This is must-see video; the entire segment with transcript is here.

Now, to the main story: House Democrats are already trying to codify all the voting irregularities Sen. Paul was talking about into law, to essentially make it impossible to verify future elections. Everything to raise cheating to an art form is here in HR 1, “the Democracy Restoration Act of 2021,” their very first bill: nationwide mail-in ballots, unrestricted ballot harvesting, the end of voter ID, convicted criminals eligible to vote and much, much more.

I have a better name for this: “the Democracy Destruction Act of 2021.” Indeed, POPULIST PRESS describes this as “the bill that will destroy America.” We can only hope that SCOTUS will see it that way, too, as its infringement upon state legislatures is hugely, wildly, unmistakably unconstitutional.

This bill essentially requires every state to do away with their own rules for elections. No state gets to require more than the last four digits of a Social Security number, for example. Every state must accept internet-only registration, including the signature. Every state must have automatic registration to vote (“motor voter”) unless the individual specifically declines it. Every state has to allow 16-year-olds to go ahead and register to vote, though states won’t have to let them vote until they’re 18 –- so one might infer that voting at 16 is an option for states that want it. All states must allow anyone to register the same day as an election.

It goes on. In no state may a person other than a state or local election official call for voter rolls to be brought up to date, the way Tom Fitton and others have been doing in some states. In all states, everyone convicted of any crime –- yes, murder –- has the right to vote and must be so notified in writing.

All states must have a period of early voting. All states must participate in uniform absentee balloting. This is nationwide mail-in voting. Relative to that, “a state may not require an individual to provide any form of identification as a condition of obtaining an absentee ballot...” other than just a signature or “similar affirmation.”

Here’s something reminiscent of Wisconsin’s recent success with all those dropboxes: A voter can “designate any person to return a voted and sealed absentee ballot to the post office, a ballot drop-off location, tribally designated building or election office so long as the person designated to return the ballot does not receive any compensation based on the number of ballots the person has returned...” (It says nothing about the voters receiving compensation, haha.) There is no limit on the number of voted-and-sealed ballots a “designated person” can return. What could possibly go wrong?

There’s much more, including the “roadmap” for DC statehood and what appears to be a complete congressional takeover of redistricting. They’ve thought of everything.

I’ve saved perhaps the most chilling for last: SEC. 3201 NATIONAL STRATEGY TO PROTECT UNITED STATES DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTIONS. This calls for the President, in consultation with various Cabinet members and agency officials, to develop over the next year a plan to deal with a number of possible occurrences, including an “influence operation” or “disinformation campaign” that could cause the “erosion of public trust” or undermine the “security and integrity of United States democratic institutions.” Gosh, isn't Twitter already doing that?

I don't see how this gets a thumbs-up from the Supreme Court, but if it does, we’re finished. Why, depending on what the President and his advisers decided, Sen. Paul might not be allowed to question an election at all. And when George Stephanopoulos asked him if it was stolen, he might have to answer, “No, sir, it was perfectly secure and honest.” For the good of the democracy, you know.

Maybe we republicans should start registering our pets, our kids stuffed animals, our long dead relatives and several alias for ourselves and beat them at their own game. Maybe take a trip thru the states at election time and stop and vote at every precinct since ID is required. We could wear 2 or 3 masks as now suggested by the highest paid official in government. (by the way, does he have stock in mask producing companies......hmmm....
Correction: I mean ID NOT required.

Rand Paul's passion is being PRO LIFE. I wish Rand Paul was able to give George an earful on the subject of how evil abortion is. That would be primetime viewing. It is too bad that talking the TRUTH TO THE FAKE MEDIA IS LIKE TALKING TO A PET ROCK

Several(?many?) years ago I saw a notice which read " The beatings will continue until the morale inproves." The Demon Rats notice will read "The beatings and beratement will continue until the morale improves and unification is achieved." The both are after the same goal--my way or nothing at all. Where and when are the reeducation encampments scheduled?

You presented very good points today. We have serious problems. My email box is filled every day with requests for donations to fight the far left agenda. I have in the past donated to races not in my state but across the nation.
I no longer see the point.
If we cannot guarantee a legal election with votes cast on time, counted on time by registered living voters the entire thing is an impotent sham.
The number one problem to solve is to secure elections.
In a similar fashion of the undercover sting operation against Planned Parenthood, David Deleidon was slapped with heinous lawsuits and fines by Kamala Harris. Dominion voting machines corporation is going after Rudi Giuliani in a huge billon dollar lawsuit.
    So here we are.
The GOP maintains its not going to be lowered to the standards of the bully left so they just keep slugging away. They are GETTING AWAY WITH WAY TOO MUCH!!!
Until someone starts moving towards stopping these illegal and unethical attacks, no more contributions. It’s a waste of money.

Who is going to organize the 75 plus million conservatives and how are they going to stand united as one against the formation of this new American Oligarchy, that's the Russian system and I don't want to live like they do in Russia; I want to live in a Constitutional Republic. How is it possible to organize these 75 plus million if we now have a state owned media, the US media appears to function the same as the propaganda department of the CCP. Are you going to do this, is someone else. I'm just an old but nonethess interested member of the silent majority who shows up when its time to vote.

I like the way you cover a variety of topics that aren't reported any where else. This new administration is pushing agendas that will destroy our country. I can only hope and pray that the courts will challenge and win the fight against this unconstitutional agenda.

The media are totally complicit in the destruction of democracy in this country. I can't watch ANYTHING on TV without seeing commercials singing exultant praise of the reign of Biden. Here is one report of the pervasive media bias.

First of all, congratulations on Sarah's candidacy for governor. Thank you for raising her to have non-changing standards, and to understand and practice logic. This will always be a great benefit to whoever she serves throughout her life, as well as an encouragement to all of us just in observing her.
The "Democracy Destruction Act of 2021" will of course only legalize all the techniques the Dems already used in Nov. and the GA Senate race this month. While you have admonished voters for being too complacent and believing Biden would be a centrist, the major blame goes to the faithless propaganda media and the death of journalism. Trump was all evil, all the time, and no evidence of any Biden wrongdoing was ever allowed to see the light of day. Many other factors have gone into our arrival at the current status of our government--cheating, fraud, ignorance, complacency, the inexplicable refusal of any court to even review the evidence--but the collusion of the media in deceiving the majority must be the greatest fault. Even after deceiving many into voting for Biden, even after solemnly proclaiming for Trump's entire four-year term that his election was invalid, they are now saying such things as "There was no election fraud. Why can't you say that?" and no hint of believing that the election was stolen is allowed, or you will be impeached.
I hope you do realize that Trump's supporters DID "crawl over broken glass" to get out and vote for him, and after getting there they stood in the pouring down rain for three hours to cast their votes. Even though Trump was drawing thousands of times the number of supporters to his rallies as "Basement Joe" was, it was not enough. Due to the many illegal techniques now being codified into law by the "Democracy Destruction Act of 2021," with the collusion of the false media who are not fulfilling their purpose of warning the populace, the extreme efforts of Trump's supporters failed. I cannot see a path to how we will ever have a true election again. Can you?

I submit that after all of the scandalous behavior pummeled into us from the socialist left over the last several years, including Hillary Clinton getting a free pass, and the IRS being used as a weapon against conservatives, and events of the past weeks, we are indeed finished as to having any chance at being a constitutional republic and are now on an irreversible path to full socialism. Everyone knows from historical evidence how that ends.

My comment is in regard to numerous references that the "voters" are to blame for putting Biden in office. I have heard this from Rush Limbaugh and many other conservative commentators and have read such comments in your newsletters. My belief is now that this isn't the only fraudulent election, it is the only time it has been revealed. How else does Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Elijah Cummings, Chuck Schumer, Jerry Nadler, AOC and Ilham OMar keep getting relected when their own districts are crime ridden, economically devastated and dismally run? Especially in San Francisco where homelessness abounds with feces and needles everywhere, shop keepers are helpless to combat theft when shoplifting is not prosecuted if it is under $900 a day. Do you actually believe that these politicians honestly "win" elections and repeated re-elections? I believe President Trump uncovered a bitter reality, he surprised them in 2016, the Elite Establishment will never again let an outsider win. President Trump is a political phenomenon, one of our greatest presidents-if not The Greatest President. The Demons on Capital Hill will stop at nothing to keep power and now we know that fraudulent elections are a reality that we were not aware of. Yes, some people do vote for these demons but I believe a lot more vote against them yet the Demons still and will remain...

I am so very disappointed in the results of the last election. I am very disturbed with the democrats agenda and them being bent on destroying our country. But I am even more disturbed at the lack of backbone that many of the Republicans have displayed. Praying for our great nation thanks to President Donald Trump. Don't let the democrats destroy all the good he did.

Mr. Huckabee, you are one of the few I feel I can trust to be honest and open. It is hard to imagine America, one nation, UNDER GOD, being abused by self serving liberals, but they are trying!
Keep standing strong and boldly speaking out, Sir!! I am in Texas but shared Sarah Sanders video with as many as I can. I pray for strength for our Godly leaders and that the ungodly be convicted and their eyes be open to lies and they repent and turn to truth. In God We Trust.

What we have right now in Our Country is not a Democracy. Voting has been compromised. We need strong Republican leaders in the House and the Senate. The Supreme Court needs to handle these media monopolies immediately and the integrity of our voting system. The President needs to move this country forward with unity of all sides and quite these attacks on our former President Trump. He is out of the White House and it is a waste of our taxpayer money.

The Dems n some Repubs have sold out our country for what?? Money, ego, power? Or all the above. It is a sad sad day in American democracy that our forefathers fought and died for. Our 2020 election was an illegal disgrace. Our Supreme court chief Justice is a corrupt traitor who failed the constitution, the American people, the Supreme Court and is a coward who put his personnel bias before our country. The governors and secretaries of state of Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and other states are corrupt as are several Senators and Congressmen. I have left the republican party after fifty two years of voting because federal and state politicians have left the party of Lincoln a disgrace. I hope our country and our once great education system survive.
