I also would point at a certain youtube video by none other than "John Wayne". This was a performance by almost every performer in the 1960's Hollywood. From Leslie Uggams, to Bob Hope, and from Phyllis Diller to Priscilla Presley, they stood up and recited the history of our great nation in song, dance, comedy, and simple monologue. It was called "AMERICA, why I love her ". I end with a quote from my state of California, that USED to be kept to our hearts. "Mis Rieces Estan Aqui" "My roots they are buried here"

After reading the story about the pledge being removed from yet another school, I began to wonder if the draft was a good idea, again? For those of us who have served in the military and were lucky enough to be stationed outside the US, we learned that not only are we very very lucky to be citizens of this great country, but we should thank the Lord every day we were born in the USA. I have been stationed in such wonderful places ad Cambodia, Laos, Algeria, Iran (before the way and take over ), Japan, Bangladesh, and many more of these wonderful countries. We coouldn't wait to get back home, why do you think we called it returning to the world?
