Tomorrow, Indiana Republicans vote in a primary that’s make-or-break for Ted Cruz. He’s already been mathematically eliminated (there aren’t enough delegates left for him to reach 1,237, even if he won them all). But winning Indiana’s winner-take-all race could slow Trump’s momentum and keep him from reaching the magic number, too.

As to whether that would actually benefit Cruz in the long run is a point for debate. No matter what happens, Trump will arrive at the convention with hundreds more delegates than Cruz. If party leaders deny him the nomination, that will kick a whole different hornet’s nest. And if they won’t give the nomination to the delegate leader, why would they give it to Cruz, who has far fewer delegates and isn’t that much more popular with party elites than Trump is?

Cruz picked up a valuable endorsement from Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, but its impact was blunted when Pence spent much of his time praising Donald Trump before endorsing Cruz. And if endorsements still influence voters (a questionable premise), Trump may have the high card with his endorsement from former Indiana Hoosiers coach Bobby Knight. As a former governor myself, I have to admit that if any candidate in Arkansas had a choice between my endorsement or a nod from the coach of the Razorbacks, they’d be crazy to pick me.

Governor Huckabee, I have always had the utmost respect for you and your political insight. You were my first choice, but since that didn't work out, I am now hoping Trump will win. I could never vote for Cruz because of the way he lied about you, and others since then. I really hope Trump will find a good place for you in his administration, whether it be VP or Secretary of State. But not my will, but God's WILL be done.

I am standing with you that Donald Trump will be the Republican candidate come November. I too am a born again Christian and have been praying daily for the mess that has been going on. I never thought I'd vote for Trump but I'm discussed with mainline politians. When Rubio and Cruz decided to get down into a pig pen, a change took place in my heart. Let's pray that the entire Republican party backs him and the liberal left leaves him alone now and at the conversation in July.

I was on the Huck Team before you dropped out in Iowa. I'm on the TrumpTeam now. I chose Trump after Iowa pretty easily. Not due to my love affair with Trump, but due to Cruz actions in Iowa. I helped on twitter, Cruz lied about you and your stances. Cruz supporters would tweet me telling me you were for Amnesty, Abortion, against-Home-Schooling, your endorsing Trump. First thought this is a joke. But no joke it kept coming constantly. I was traumatized by the lies and deceit. Then Carson lies came and I saw first hand the Secretary of State truly upset. But he denies and rationalized and on twitter the CruzCrew said it was legal and it worked very well with Obama. I was furious. I wasn't never Cruz ever till these actions came to light. I'm for sure he lied about Santorum, Carson, and you for months before Iowa. It was obvious his goal was to be the Christian Conservative leader to be in the White House no matter what lies and tactics he used. This isn't Christian or Conservative to me. I chose Trump not that he is the man with great integrity by He is HONEST! As a Christian 1 thing I know Christ hates lying. Trump didn't tell me Cruz was a liar, Cruz revealed that to me in Iowa. I will never vote Cruz. I DON'T TRUST HIM. HIS ACTIONS ARE LIKE OBAMA AND HILLARY. HE THINKS HE IS ABOVE THE LAW AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE . HE IS WRONG!
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF ESTABLISHMENT THINKING THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW AND AMERICAN PEOPLE IT NEEDS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO STOP WITH TRUMP.

I want people to know that as a Huck Team member I never heard the Crew talk ill will towards' Ted Cruz or any other candidates. You and the team leaders never allowed it. I think we should have been more hard, but were a sweet and loving team. Not our nature! We did watch and see endorsements that were promised to you go to Ted Cruz we were upset. I think my anger is with many Evangelical and Family Leaders they think they are above the law too. It needs to stop! They need to stop playing $ and politics as well. Look who we have as our 2 end choices Cruz and Trump. We could have had you!

YOU WOULD HAVE MADE AND AWESOME PRESIDENT.
My top 2 prayers for USA

    TRUMP WINS PRESIDENT
    HUCK VICE PRESIDENT
THAT WOULD BE A MIGHTY TEAM!
    YOU WILL BE HIS JONATHAN!
THIS IS MY PRAYER FOR USA

I contributed to your campaign. You were easily my first choice because I trusted that you were the real deal - a principled conservative. You always answered well at the debates when you got the chance to respond. I am so disappointed in your choices since quitting the race. How can a principled man like yourself back someone who changes views like a chameleon changes colors? I can only conclude that there is something in it for you and you have sold your soul. so disappointed.........................

While I am not from Indiana, I remember Bobby Knights Tirades on the basketball court. I wouldn't cherish his endorsement!

Gov. Huckabee, I have a distinct feeling that you may be on the short list of Trump for VP. Would you consider same?
