Today's Edition: 6 minute read
On Wednesday, I pointed you to John Solomon’s ‘preview of coming attractions,’ his list of 10 areas of declassification in the FBI’s investigation into phony Trump/Russian “collusion” that would likely, as he put it, “rock Washington.” In his Wednesdsy podcast, Dan Bongino called Solomon’s list a roadmap to what we can anticipate coming out. And it’s devastating. He offered his quick take on each item on the list.
First, we have the materials known as “1023” reports, which document everything that Christopher Steele and the FBI exchanged with each other during their contacts. In other words, it’s not just what Steele gave the FBI, but also what the FBI gave HIM. To boil this down, it’s possible that the FBI was actually briefing Steele on “Crossfire Hurricane,” feeding information that may have come from other sources, which meant that Steele –- who wasn’t even an American, and that brings in the matter of actual “collusion” with foreigners –- was in a position to pass this classified information about their investigation of Trump to Fusion GPS (through Bruce and Nellie Ohr) and ultimately to Hillary’s campaign and the DNC (same thing) during the election season. Unbelievable.
With gratitude,

FEATURED STORIES
Fundraising in Mexico City
By Mike Huckabee
According to the latest reported numbers, the Republican National Committee has already raised $43.8 million for the 2020 race and has zero debt, while the Democratic National Committee has raised only $7.7 million and has $5.6 million in debt. Since the election will be a decision over who’ll be in charge of the Treasury and the national budget, I’d think that news alone should tell Americans how to vote.
Apparently, the Democrats are worried that Americans will get that message, so the DNC is hitting up a different donor pool by scheduling three fundraisers next month in Mexico City.
I know what you’re thinking, but donors will be required to show US passports to prove they’re American citizens living in Mexico (even though we know Democrats think it’s oppressively racist to ask people if they’re American citizens.) If you are from Mexico and not an American citizen, you’ll have to think of some other way to help Democrats get elected. I’m sure they’ll keep doing all they can to make that as easy as possible.

Spicer to TV
By Mike Huckabee
It was announced Wednesday that a former Trump White House press secretary will be in the new cast of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” (No, not my daughter Sarah! I meant Sean Spicer.)
Despite the fact that political experience makes for some great tap-dancing, the reaction from the leftist Twitterspere to the choice of Spicer was predictably venomous. Host Tom Bergeron admitted that the producers overruled him in including Spicer. But his objections are understandable: Bergeron said he thinks of the show as a kitschy escape from all the political divisiveness, so he’d prefer to avoid any political figures from either party. Fair enough.
Although, aside from Spicer, James Van Der Beek, Lamar Odom and Christie Brinkley, the latest “stars” are so obscure, for all I know, they might all be Democratic Presidential candidates.
Austin leaders backpedal
By Mike Huckabee
Well, whoever could have predicted this? Only 50 days after the wacko-left government of Austin, a desert of leftist thinking in the oasis of Texas, voted to allow homeless people to live anywhere they want (other than outside City Hall, naturally), the once-beautiful city is already on its way to following L.A. and San Francisco in becoming a dangerous garbage dump. And the liberal officials who foisted the idiotic policy onto the public are scrambling for a way to undo the damage they caused. Proposals include bringing back some of the dreaded legal “restrictions” on where people are allowed to pitch a tent or flop on sidewalks. Oh, no, restrictions on behavior?! How fascist!
I recommend reading the linked article by Josh Manning. It not only contains more details about the latest example of leftist policies crashing in failure before our eyes, but Manning also makes some excellent points about why smaller cities in poorer red states have less of a homeless problem than big cities in wealthy blue states.

Your Thursday Joe Biden Gaffe Watch: No, despite what Joe said, Robert Kennedy and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. did not die in the “late 1970s.” He might have them confused with disco music. Those assurances that Joe’s brain is fine are starting to remind me of Igor in “Young Frankenstein” insisting that the monster has the right brain; it just came from someone named “Abby Normal.”

A new CNN poll shows that Kamala Harris, who seemed to be rising after the first debate where she blindsided Joe Biden as a busing-opposing racist, is now sinking fast after opponents publicized her record of keeping people in prison regardless of pesky details such as their innocence when she was California Attorney General.
This latest poll shows Harris has sunk to just 5% while Biden has regained a double-digit lead. He’s still 10 points lower than he was a couple of months ago, but he has 29% support, well ahead of Bernie Sanders (15%) and Elizabeth Warren (14%.)
