DAILY BIBLE VERSE

This verse is dedicated by Sue H.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

2. Breyer Retiring:

Wednesday, the Associated Press quoted “two sources” as saying that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer plans to retire at the end of the current Court term early this summer.

https://www.westernjournal.com/ap-breaking-court-hangs-balance-lib-justice-stephen-breyer-makes-stunning-announcement/

At 83, Breyer has been under pressure from leftwing activists to retire while there’s still a Democrat President and Senate to nominate and confirm his replacement. They’re still angry over Ruth Bader Ginsburg hanging on in the belief that Hillary would win, only for Trump to choose a conservative replacement after she died.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/breyer-retire-supreme-court

This will toss a curve ball into the midterm elections, since Biden promised he would nominate the first black female Justice, and we know he never breaks a promise. I’m sure Democrats are already planning to fire up their base before the election by framing any Republican opposition to such a pick as “RACISM” and not just opposition to what will undoubtedly be any Biden nominee’s record of leftwing judicial activism.

As far as the “diversity” claim goes, we know what that means: someone of the approved skin color and gender, but who thinks in lockstep with the “progressive” leftwing agenda, since diversity of thought is taboo on the left these days.

Of course, if Biden honestly wanted to increase diversity on the SCOTUS, he might do what Trump did and nominate someone who was schooled someplace other than Harvard or Yale (Justice Barrett attended Notre Dame in Indiana.) It might be nice for the millions of Americans who live in the West or the South and whose lives and cultures are totally alien to Northeastern Ivy League elites to have some more Court representation. You know, so that when the Court is making decisions that apply to the entire country, more of the Justices would actually be familiar with the parts of it that don’t lie within 500 or so miles of their DC townhouses.

Related: Biden will have to pick a female nominee if he wants to avoid the blocking tactic that talk show host Jesse Kelly suggests the Republicans throw against any male he might name.

3. Pelosi will run for re-election

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who turns 82 in March (that's 42 in Senator years), announced Tuesday that she is running for reelection in November. Hilariously, she claimed she has to do it to “defend democracy” (which today’s Democrats define as “we win all elections”), “to deliver for the People” (even though polls show most of the people reject her leftist policies like a Clorox milkshake), and of course, for “the children.”

I can’t think of anyone who’s done more “for the children” than leftist blue state Democrats like her, who have shut down schools, forced masks and inappropriate sexual material onto kids, branded their parents as domestic terrorists for caring about their educations, kept them trapped in crumbling public schools to appease teachers' unions, and turned their parks into No Man’s Lands filled with homeless people, criminals, drug deals, needles and feces.

Speaking of feces, here’s her video:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pelosi-announces-re-election-bid-ahead-of-2022-midterms

Of course, this wouldn’t be an announcement by a top name Democrat if it didn’t carry an underlying theme of broken promises. Recall that Pelosi promised the last time she ran for Speaker that she would step down at the end of her term. But she didn’t realize at the time that the polls would show Democrats heading for an electoral wood chipper, with nearly 30 House incumbents retiring and bailing out before they become mulch.

That leaves Pelosi facing the grim option of running again or leaving her Party at its weakest point and risking that its leadership will fall into the hands of someone from the far-left AOC wing that steered them into the wood chipper in the first place. So I’m hardly surprised that she’s running for reelection, and I won’t be surprised if she runs for House Minority Leader. Hey, she only said she wouldn’t be “Speaker” anymore, so that’s kinda like not breaking her promise.

The writer Bonchie at Redstate.com also sniffs desperation politics in Pelosi’s announcement:

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/01/25/nancy-pelosi-makes-a-panic-move-and-sets-up-a-showdown-with-her-own-party-n512568

Honestly, nobody who knows anything about Nancy Pelosi would be surprised if she breaks her promise to willingly give up power, any more than we were when Jay Leno didn’t turn over the Tonight Show to Conan O’Brien and retire quietly to his giant garage. Even if the Republicans win a 100-vote majority, I still expect them to need a crowbar to pry the Speaker’s gavel from her hand.

4. Nothing to see here:

Just that Fox News obtained documents showing that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the secular saint of the left, was informed as early as January 27, 2020, that his agency had been indirectly funding the Wuhan Virology Lab via Ecohealth…

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/special-report-outlines-fresh-questions-on-what-fauci-government-knew-about-covid-origin

That he was told on January 31st that the COVID-19 virus was inconsistent with natural evolution and looked to be possibly engineered…

That Fauci quickly set up a conference call with colleagues where he was told that risky gain of function experiments with the virus might not have gone through proper biosafety review and oversight…

And that just hours later, Fauci “organized a call with dozens of worldwide virologists, and notes from the meeting obtained by Special Report reveal that suspicions of the lab leak theory were suppressed over concerns of how the public would react to news of possible Chinese government involvement.” Then-NIH Director Director Francis Collins reportedly feared that "science and international harmony" could be harmed and that accusations of China’s involvement could “distract” top researchers.

Well, we certainly wouldn’t want our top researchers distracted by knowing the truth about the virus’ origin. Especially if it made China uncomfortable. It’s better to silence, censor and smear anyone who raises questions. Because when you’re trying to stop a deadly worldwide pandemic, you’ve got to keep your priorities straight.

5. Senator Johnson's Panel:

Monday, Sen. Ron Johnson held an all-day panel to allow testimony on problems with COVID policies and vaccines that have been suppressed by the media. Naturally, most of the media ignored it completely. But they might be forced to cover this story thanks to three military doctors-turned-whistleblowers. They’ve signed statements under penalty of perjury, alleging serious increases in health problems such as cancer, miscarriages and neurological disorders after the vaccine mandates went into effect.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/stacey-lennox/2022/01/25/military-whistleblowers-may-blow-up-the-covid-vaccine-narrative-n1552966

Please note, internet censors and “fact-checkers,” that I am making no accusations at all about the vaccines. I am merely accurately reporting what these military doctors told the Senate under oath. That used to be known as “news reporting.” Now, would it be too much to ask you to do your jobs and actually look into what they are trying to tell us?

6. Unnerving:

This isn’t the kind of story that’s good for our nerves after dealing with two years of a pandemic that we were assured by all the best people could be blamed on some animals from another country and not on hushed-up Chinese lab experiments:

7. NJ murder case closes after political operative pleads guilty:

I’ve long said that politics is a contact sport, and you shouldn’t get into it if you can’t stand the sight of your own blood. I, however, was speaking metaphorically. Not like the New Jersey Democrat political operative who just pleaded guilty to hiring two hit men to murder a longtime political associate. His confession finally closes a case that baffled police for eight years.

8. Quote of the Day:

From a Kurt Schlichter column that’s subscriber-only at Townhall.com, but I have to share just a small excerpt.

https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2022/01/26/democrats-yearn-to-imprison-you-n2602314

He’s writing about a recent Rasmussen poll that we covered that found that nearly 60% of Democrats favor fining unvaccinated people and locking them in their homes, 45% favor sending them to “camps,” 47% favor a government program to “track” them, and 48% think the government should be able to fine or imprison Americans who question the efficacy of existing COVID-19 vaccines on “social media, television, radio or in online or digital publications.” Kurt writes:

“…let’s understand clearly what these monsters are saying. They are saying that the government should be able to arrest you for disagreeing with the government (at least when they agree with the government). They are saying that if you don’t comply with their scientifically-unsound commands, you can be locked in or locked up. They think this is okay. They support it. And they also accuse you of being a Nazi.

The poll did not test irony’s approval numbers among libs, but they seem strongly in favor.”

I'm almost glad that Pelosi is going to run again, which means that if the Republicans take the house, she can finally be held accountable for her actions. Let's see how it plays out.

How many people watch Psaki during her Press talk show? I sometimes walk in the room and it is on the TV and listen for a few minutes my wife watches it I have walk away I have seen some clips of the View and wonder how much further down the IQ chart will the Human Being fall. By the sound of these people the fall is near the bottom. Most of these people already look like they have left the cave for a few hours I would think in a few more years they will communicate with grunts screams and facial expressions oh wait they are doing that already. I have had dogs while the children were growing older and Having people like Psaki and members of the view ( (they are considered Humans by some) I reserve commit on that however like the China virus lab workers leaked the DNA of these people out of the lab. No question the dog is a better source of Intellect and a much better companion.

Referencing the Quote of the Day by Kurt Schlichter, it looks like the poll came from Australians posing as American Democratic citizens!

The Democratic Party and its members are the cannibals I knew they are. As soon as the leaders fail they quickly dispose of them forget what they are forget they knew them.. Like the leeches that hang on to the rich and famous when the assets fade away so does the leech. That is a Democrat trait a non worker looking for a handout beggars to lazy or worthless to obtain a moral style of living. The democrat will bribe you corrupt you will hide behind others telling one to hit or kill one another it will cheer on a fight as long as the Dem will not fight for itself. This is biden and his pack of MSM, donors, I would say friends but Dems do not have friends they only have users the Dem are now just cannibals watch them abandon each other or just destroy each other when issues get tough.
