1. DAILY BIBLE VERSE

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

Psalm 112:7

2. Prayers for NYC:

I hope you will join me in praying for the victims and the families of victims of a deadly fire that consumed an apartment building in the Bronx on Sunday. It’s believed that a malfunctioning space heater started it. It’s New York City’s deadliest fire in 30 years. Nineteen people, including nine children, have died, and that tragic toll may rise, since more than 50 were injured with 13 listed in critical condition.

There are more details at this link, but I warn you, they are terrible and heartbreaking.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/bronx-apartment-fire-witnesses-recall-horrors-of-citys-deadliest-fire-in-30-years

Again, please pray for the victims, and let’s also all give thanks to the brave firefighters who risked their own lives to save others.

3. Biden built this:

Here’s something to put one of those Joe Biden “I did that!” stickers on: Racism is now back as an official policy of the US government.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-administration-guidance-prioritizes-race-administering-covid-drugs

It’s odd how liberals spent years telling us that race is meaningless; why, it wasn’t even a genetic trait. And how, it’s the determining factor in who’s more likely to die of COVID; and therefore, who deserves to get a treatment that any competent Administration that put health and science above politics would have already made sure was available to everyone who needs it.

4. Senate 2022 Election Update:

The Senate reelection field seems to be set for 2022 with announcements from the last Republican hold-outs, Sens. John Thune of South Dakota and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, that they will run for reelection.

https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2022/01/09/no-more-gop-senate-hold-outs-thune-announces-bid-for-re-election-as-does-ron-johnson-n440273

Five Republicans are retiring but they’re all from solid red states. Thune is as well. Democrats think they might be able to win Wisconsin and are already attacking Johnson for breaking his promise not to run for a third term. But considering that any alternative would be a Democrat, that might not be a winning message this year.

Also, it’s hard to swallow that line of attack about someone wanting a third term when we currently have the oldest Senate in US history, and the oldest serving Senator, Democrat Diane Feinstein, is 88 and has been in office for 30 years. The only Democrat who’s announced his retirement is Pat Leahy, and he’s 81 and has been in office for 47 years. By their own standards, a two-term Senator has barely broken in his chair.

5. A Harsh Double-Whammy Lesson in NYC:

New York City voters just got a harsh double-whammy lesson in what “bait and swtich” means. Fed up with Bill DeBlasio’s socialist mismanagement that’s resulted in skyrocketing crime and fleeing residents, they voted in some new Democrats who claimed they would be different…and then the minute they were in office started giving the people DeBlasio 2.0.

First, new Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg announced that he was basically decriminalizing every crime short of murder…

https://nypost.com/2022/01/04/alvin-braggs-green-light-for-anarchy/

And now, new Mayor Eric Adams announced that he will not oppose a controversial new plan to allow up to a million non-citizens to vote in local elections after just 30 days’ residency. Ironically, some critics are from the left and claim it will further dilute the voting power of black residents. While some smaller blue cities let non-citizens vote in municipal elections, San Francisco is the only major city that does, and that’s just for school board elections. New York’s move would be a major change in eroding election standards.

https://www.westernjournal.com/slap-face-eric-adams-approves-massive-rule-change-nyc-elections-swelling-dem-rolls/

Supporters say this is legal because it only applies to local elections, but it’s already facing a lawsuit that claims it violates the New York state constitution.

Even Nancy Pelosi once said that in New York, even a glass of water could get elected if it had a (D) by its name on the ballot. Maybe it’s time for New Yorkers to stop voting for Democrat glasses of water and realize that what they’re really doing is drinking the Kool-Aid.

6. Big Tech bias:

Fox News reports that according to Federal Election Commission records, 94% of donations from top employees of Google (which owns YouTube) go to Democrats, as do 99% of donations from Twitter employees.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/google-twitter-employees-donations-democrats

It’s no surprise that both platforms are routinely accused of silencing and censoring conservative voices. When called on it, they deny it, or claim that it was a “mistake,” as YouTube just did after reinstating a song critical of Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Gee, remember when songs criticizing the government were considered classics of the ‘60s?

https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/youtube-takes-down-john-ondrasik-video-criticized-biden-afghanistan-withdrawal

YouTube claimed that the video's images might be “offensive to some audiences.” Mostly Biden campaign aides, I would imagine.

Still, even with the growing likelihood of a Republican takeover of Congress, many GOP voters are discouraged that Republican Congress members publicly complain about Big Tech leftist censorship but will not change any laws to stop it or make them legally accountable. But there might be another way to force Silicon Valley to end its biased business practices.

https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/496111/

That is a post by Charles Glasser at Instapundit, explaining how people who have been harmed by Big Tech censorship might be able to get around their Section 230 immunity and sue (BTW, they should have lost that immunity long ago for their blatant violation of the requirement not to act as editors of content.) It’s a complicated legal argument, but well worth reading. In a nutshell: If the Administration has been colluding with these companies to silence users they disagree with – which it seems obvious that they are – then there’s precedent to show that they are acting as de facto government agents rather than private businesses, which means they are required to obey the First Amendment.

And if they can be held legally accountable for every time they’ve violated a user’s right to free speech, the floodgates of lawsuits will be thrown wide open. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving group of defendants.

7. What could possibly go wrong:

I don’t know if this is connected to Andrew Cuomo facing no accountability for all the COVID deaths in New York nursing homes after he forced them to take in COVID patients, but it looks as if Democrat officials are back to forcing nursing homes to take in COVID patients. What could possibly go wrong?

https://www.frontpagemag.com/point/2022/01/dems-back-shoving-covid-cases-nursing-homes-daniel-greenfield/

8. Interesting:

Mexico has charged seven people, including its own top government officials, stemming from the botched Obama-era BATF gun-running operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

https://www.foxnews.com/world/mexico-charges-fast-furious-gun-trafficking

Meanwhile, in the US, former Attorney General Eric Holder, who was at the center of that program and found in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify, not only never paid any price for it, he went on to criticize his successor’s ethics. So I think we can now safely say that under the Democrats, our corrupt officials face less accountability than Mexico’s.

    Governor:
I know you tried to give the benefit of doubt to the new Mayor of NYC, but I hate to say I told you so, Ah, no I don't, I told you so. I sent in a comment to you right after the election saying basically nothing had changed and I have no compassion for the people of NYC. They did this to themselves. Again!

I'd also like someone to investigate the response time of First Responders to the tragic fire in NYC. The policies of the outgoing communist and the continuation of them by the new idiot has depleted the ranks of the Fire Department and Police there. How did that affect the response time and the number of units that responded to this fire? You or someone needs to look at this. NYC leaderships socialist/communist policies and their unintended consequences have to be called out on things like this. Lives were lost.

Why haven't the relatives of all the senior citizens murdered by Cuomo filed a Class Action law suit? What is going on there?

Why has the only name coming out of the Maxwell/Epstein trial been the Prince? Where are the names of all the rich scum from our country?

Why haven't you started a daily count of those Americans' and our Allies still left in Afghanistan along with a daily death count of those killed by the Tailiban?

Biden and his collection of lunatics display the ignorance this country’s population possess. Biden has been a disaster most of his life today the msm leads this president into decisions that only a communist can accept biden lives in the minute he can not remember the last one. The man pushes illegitimate mandates to the point the policies are illegal however the damages they do runs it corse for a year as justice comes slow while damage is fast and furious this administration is a criminal organization in every aspect of American way of life

I am really afraid that there is too much expectation of a GOP win. Yes, the polls are overwhelming, but there will be so much hard to prove cheating going on that the DNC could pull it off. I can’t say the GOP House has acquitted itself particularly well. It’s time to take the gloves off. Trump should keep a low profile. There are too many who, even if the wanted to, would not a vote for .Trump supporters. If the Dems do pull it off and there is strong evidence of cheating, it will not be possible to do anything because protesters or those who use social media will be arrested and held as political prisoners. We really are reaching a point of no return. Too many people are simply ignorant of the issues or have too many things on their mind. Have you noticed how often the lefties arrack people very nastily about their mindset, not the issues? Republicans don’t do that nearly as much. The patterns we are developing and acquiescing to are just like the Reds and Nazis. Look at the rise of fascism in Italy. During WWII. I remember remember the .Germans saying that they didn’t know it would be like this. Well, aren’t those people in a DC jail for .Jan 6 just like “ this”.

    More election Fraud;
    Is this true?
AG Brnovich is working with the only authorized printing company in Arizona that is allowed to produce ballots. One of the most serious election crimes uncovered by the auditors last year was that there were many counterfeit ballots discovered in Maricopa County. How many? More than 27,000, compared to Joe Biden’s alleged 10,000-vote victory in Arizona.
Jovan Pulitzer, the computer whiz and forensic paper analyst who has been working tirelessly for more than a year to expose all the fraud in the 2020 election, had this to say about the fraudulent ballots they uncovered in Maricopa County:
“The problem we found in looking at the ballots, the first thing we found in measuring the ballots, is that there are counterfeit ballots… That means a ballot that’s not printed on the right paper, not printed to the right spec, literally comes off of different non-authorized printers, attempting to mimic an official ballot. AND there are no codes in it. That is how we identify a fraudulent ballot.”
There is only one authorized printing company in Arizona that is allowed to print off election ballots. That company is Rolland Papers. Also, there is only one legal paper “stock” that is allowed to be used for ballots in Maricopa County, which a paper stock called “VoteSecure.”

It turns out that Rolland Papers is now working with Attorney General Mark Brnovich, because the company embedded a secret in their VoteSecure paper stock – a secret that the Democrat Party election thieves obviously didn’t know about.
