My Response to Chris Matthews

April 7, 2017

There used to be a saying that “patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.” Liberals have so demeaned the word “patriotism” that they don’t dare try to hide behind that anymore when caught with their paws in the cookie jar, so they instead distract the public from their own perfidy by throwing out other ism’s, like accusing anyone who blows the whistle on them of sexism or racism.

The surest indicator of just how bad the Susan Rice story must be is the swiftness with which the unofficial Obama press agents at places like MSNBC have glossed over the revelations and gaping holes in her story and retreated directly to accusing her critics of racism and sexism.

Case in point: Chris Matthews and David Corn on MSNBC. They somehow already know that she did “nothing wrong,” but they said that I “had no shame” and that a tweet of mine about Rice possibly being measured for an orange jumpsuit was motivated by her race or her being female. No, it was motivated by the fact that she appears to be at the epicenter of the worst political scandal since Watergate, involving government surveillance of political opponents and illegally leaking the identities of US citizens to the media, a felony that carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years. Hence the “orange jumpsuit” reference. Good thing I didn’t toss in an “Orange is the New Black” joke. Imagine the racist connotations they’d see in that!

News flash: In a truly “post-racial” world, we should be able to criticize the behavior and policies of political figures without regard to their race or gender. Liberals who respond to all criticism, no matter how valid, by crying racism or sexism are demeaning the person they’re allegedly defending as much as the one they’re attacking. They are implying that the person’s policies are so bereft of substance that any criticism must be based solely on their gender or skin color, as if that’s all there is to them. In fact, it shows far more respect to criticize someone on substance than to defend them by reducing them to an identity group cliché.

Let Chris Matthews and David Corn say whatever they want about me, but I will not sit here and let them make racist and sexist comments about Susan Rice!

Incidentally, if my criticism of Susan Rice for what is only the latest in a series of partisan truth-torching statements is based on sexism and racism, then how do they explain my equally harsh assessment of people like Obama aide Ben Rhodes, a white, male, college-educated jerkwad who arrogantly chortled over the way he cursed the world with the Iran nuclear deal by playing ignorant liberal reporters like a cheap fiddle? I can assure you that if he had been the one who was allegedly behind subverting the government’s intelligence assets to target political opponents during an election, I would not be saying, “Well, he’s a white male, so I guess that’s okay then.”

Or for that matter, try to find a way to blame racism and sexism for my subterranean opinion of Chris Matthews. I think he’s squandered whatever molecules of journalistic integrity he might have once possessed through his never-ending efforts to recapture that first blush of love when he felt a thrill go up his leg as Obama spoke. Yet somehow, I manage to hold that low opinion of his work despite Chris not only being male, but also so white, he makes Casper the Friendly Ghost look like he fell asleep in a tanning bed.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go tweet that.

Its not our faults that we have alot of crazy people who support or govenor and senators. They have been in there way to long . They need to be voted out. Hollywood needs to be boycotted. A hero is someone who sacrifices his or her self for the sake of others, not someone who "spills his or guts" for the sake of self! Got it? Just saying...

Perhaps Martin Luther King, Jr's dream of people being judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin is not the dream of the liberal media.

This is a typical novice debate ploy used by unintelligent persons that do not have the reasoning skills or knowledge base to argue in the arena of issues and policy. Perhaps they are just too lazy to say with sincerity and confidence, "Come, and let us reason together." Their default escape from a debate they cannot win is simply to hit the smelly red herring button, crying racism or sexism because they cannot make logical points to an audience that cannot reason.

With this "clever" method of reasoning (not), they can easily coax their equally unintelligent, unreasonable, and ignorant listeners into a frenzy of false conclusions that distracts completely from the discussion of issues and policy. They use raw emotion, harnessed from the mob, to shout down any and all voices of reason.

Their minds are sewage pipes, and their mouths are WMDs. This is precisely why I'm a Republican. Demonocracy always ends in chaos and mob rule.

It is the mob who become the tools of the clever radical left, the followers of the cunning liberal pundits, and the rabble of the unethical greedy lobbyists. These are the Demonocrats, the riff-raff who roam the streets, foaming at the mouth, screaming racism, sexism, or some other "ism", while good citizens are hard at work trying to keep the entire system from collapsing. The mobs have brains made of Play-Doh, so they are as pliable as the crowd Mark Antony inflamed into mayhem. The cheapest tricks of gutter-level journalism can whip them into a raging frenzy of base emotionalism. They are void of understanding. Wisdom has deserted them because they have no knowledge to enable wisdom.

Keep fighting the good fight, Governor. Almighty God is on your side.

Huckabee is a partisan political commentator. I have read many of his postings and found them to be full of lies. He was most disgusting when he called war hero and long time Republican Senator McCain a traitor for disagreeing with Trump. The spectrum of politics is full of people who are not to be trusted to tell the truth. Huckabee is one of the worst.

I and my husband were supporters of your Presidential run, trust you, enjoyed your programs on Fox news. We have supported your support of President Trump, he is a good man with good intentions and a lot to contribute, like all of us, he is not perfect, does not always say the "right" thing, but I love that about him. He is willing to change, willing to move when there is a need and has a good heart, Trusts God, most importantly. Thank you for your continued activism and support, we pray for you as well as President Trump, Vice President Pence, all of his staff, may God's will be done. I feel we are blessed by God for all that HE is working, all the changes and the freedom to speak out.

As usual, you speak truth as a statesman! Isn’t it sad that Americans cannot have a discussion about substantive issues today without name-calling or bad language ? My high school English Teacher, Mrs. Rebecca Thompson, taught us that people who resorts to name calling or cursing have a limited vocabulary and knowledge. America needs to pause and get a fresh grip on the USA Constitution. Of course, many seem to have little knowledge of it ! Perhaps thats why they resort to name calling and bad language !

Mr Huckabee, I loved your show on Fox for so many reasons. Your wit and intelligence ( and charm I might add!) in disarming your liberal guests to the point that they seemed to realize they actually LIKED and respected you ( Gosh forbid they admit they agreed with you ) - well it was great to watch. You are so well- spoken and make such sense , I hope you go back to public office. You are a great man of integrity, and I am proud my sons also look up to you. Our kids need to have role models like you. Thank you !

Way to call it like it is Mr. Huckabee. I just love you and your family. You are an honest man that is why the Democrat liberal haters don't like you.
