No wonder Nancy Pelosi is trying to rush along impeachment before anyone had a chance to read Schiff’s “evidence” report.  Attorney Will Chamberlain, writing at Human Events, has now read it, and he noticed that on page 59, Schiff accidentally included testimony that destroys his own case and exonerates President Trump.

I have compared Bernie Sanders’ debate performances in which he gets mad and yells for no apparent reason to Arthur Spooner, the hair-tempered socialist father-in-law on “King of Queens.”  But this week in Iowa, Joe Biden gave Sanders/Spooner a run for their money, with a little of Grandpa Simpson’s “Old Man Yells at Clouds” thrown in.

I’ve done a lot of politicking in Iowa, and I’ve talked to a lot of voters, and there’s no rule that you have to be nice to people who are rude to you.  But this reaction was weird, even by Joe Biden standards. I don’t think you’ll find anything like it in “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

One telling moment: when Biden insisted that “no one has said my son has done anything wrong.”  That’s just not true.  He can say that he doesn’t believe his son did anything wrong, but as to whether anyone else has said it, reality begs to differ.  Although he might be correct that nobody on MSNBC has ever said it.  That I can believe.

I guess we can assume from this outburst, the whitewashed investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server, the attempt to impeach Trump for wanting alleged corruption in Ukraine investigated, and Nancy Pelosi’s strangely threatening response to reporter James Rosen…

…that it’s now established federal law that it is illegal to question the ethics of top Democrats, no matter how questionable they may be.

When exactly did the Party of “love and tolerance” become the Party of “Agree with us or we’ll beat you up, threaten your family and get you fired”?  That’s a trick question, it was never really the Party of love and tolerance (look up “KKK” or “Bull Connor.”)

The leftist thugs wasted no time in turning on George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley for daring to pour some cool reason on their hot tempered passions.  Turley, who is a Democrat and not a Trump supporter by any means, was the only one of the four “experts” testifying in this week's "impeachment" hearing who based his conclusions on the law, the Constitution, historical precedent and standards of evidence rather than partisan rancor.  And his conclusion was that it had not been proven that Trump abused his powers, but that the way the Democrats were conducting this impeachment was an abuse of power.

In that testimony, he also warned against letting anger rule our actions.  To show that the leftists watching didn’t listen to any part of what he said, Turley revealed that before he even finished testifying, his office and home were “inundated with threatening messages” and there were demands that he be fired from his job.  His credibility was also attacked by Rachel Maddow and the Washington Post.

Turley said, "There is an intense 'rancor and rage' and 'stifling intolerance' that blinds people to opposing views. My call for greater civility and dialogue may have been the least successful argument I made to the committee."

That’s no surprise.  I’ve also tried to remain positive and invite people of opposing views to join me to debate issues in a fair and open manner.  But I notice that recently, it’s gotten harder and harder to find any takers.  People would rather stew in their hatred than talk to anyone who might disagree with them (and I don’t mean talk AT them, I mean talk TO them, which involves listening to the other side.)

My advice to Turley is to do what I do: try to stay positive and open to those who are willing, ignore the wannabe “warriors” in their Snoopy pajamas typing out threats on the Internet from their mom’s basements, and remind those calling for his firing that he has tenure, so “go pound sand.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is delivering more gifts to Republicans than Santa Claus.  In her latest Tweet storm, she claimed that President Trump’s tightening of rules for the food stamp program might have starved her family after her father died.

It was quickly pointed out by Republicans that the new rule applies only to able-bodied adults between 18 and 49 who don’t have any dependents, and they are only cut off of food stamps if they refuse to work.  So it would not have affected her family or anyone else with children.

Just FYI, being an able-bodied adult who refuses to do any actual work sounds like it describes AOC and a lot of other House Democrats.

From the “How DARE You...Think for Yourselves?” File: See video of a Black Lives Matter activist (who is white) disrupting an event by black supporters of Pete Buttigieg, whom I guess black people aren't allowed to support, according to this white guy who speaks for black people.

Buttigieg, who is gay, is also being accused of homophobia by leftists because he once volunteered to help the Salvation Army.

I wonder if this year’s Christmas miracle might be Pete Buttigieg looking at the people on his own side, suddenly realizing how crazy they are, and announcing he’s becoming a Republican.

Here’s how seriously most Americans are taking the Democrats’ “impeachment” tantrum: this week, there were more Google searches for “Peloton” because of their controversial commercial showing a husband buying his wife an exercise bike for Christmas than there were for impeachment.

I wonder if one of those Google searches was Adam Schiff trying to find out if buying a Peloton is an impeachable offense?

Nice Video: Here’s something to help wash the nasty political news away. First Lady Melania Trump joins her husband as he makes some holiday remarks at the ceremony to light the National Christmas Tree.

I will not bother linking to any liberal media sites that are no doubt criticizing the decorations, attacking the First Lady for her dress, carping about the electricity wasted to power the lights, or whining that cutting down the tree contributes to global warming.

I thought the White House Christmas decorations were jut amazing. I'm not a big fan of all white, but they were beautiful. Melania was beautiful as always. She exudes grace and charm. Great dignity in the eye of the storm.

I hope there is not a full out campaign against Mayor Pete--not because I would vote for him or would hope he would be the candidate--but because it would open the door for "special/snowflake" groups and other activists to start looking for whom a candidate ever did volunteer work for while they are looking 20+ year old high school essays, then fb/myspace high school posts, and on and on. Whether we like a candidate or not, whether some think a candidate only does things "for show" we should appreciate they do volunteer work, and, quite frankly stand as role models for that.

I haven't read, okay, I haven't looked for, criticisms of the President's speech and the lighting of the tree. However, I'm surprised lgbtQ and pot-stirrers aren't expressing their extreme anger that the Salvation Army was represented, and mentioned by the President. You know, pointing out how homophobic he is. The screamers don't give a whipstitch about all the good an organization might do--I guess it's to he=--=0=- with the children, the homeless, help the lgbq community (hello? are they listening?) among other things.

I hope that the Republicans on the next circus round have read shiff's report and hones in on pg 59 and have read Will Chamberlain's assessment of it.

    Gov Huckabee,
As always thank you for your Newsletters. After reading the articles in your newsletter and having just read a Bible devotion on hope the question in my mind is where is the "Hope" that the Democratic party and the leftist news media are providing us? The Webster definition of hope is - to cherish a desire with anticipation : to want something to happen or be true." The only thing I perceive is that the Democratic Parties hope for Hilary Clinton to be President did not take place so they are fixated on destroying the hopes of the rest of the country. If the purpose of Hilary Clinton being President was to enact her chosen legislation to better the American people's way of life why are they not working diligently to accomplish that task instead of spouting out constant sour grapes about loosing the election. So far all they have demonstrated is that they are a group of spoiled brat poor losers. Obviously the election of Hilary Clinton was not about helping the American people with productive legislation but about being in power. It was not about bringing hope to the American people at all. Where as, whether you like him of not, Donald Trump has brought more hope from a financial standpoint to the American people than any President in recent history. The economy is booming, jobs are up, paychecks are up, taxes are down, the stock market has had multiple highs, the balance of trade with many foreign nations is improving, trade deals with those nations that favor the USA or that are at least fair are being negotiated, and further financial advantages are being gained. Also hope for fair treatment of people with all religious beliefs are being addressed. And hope for the least of Americans, the unborn, is being addressed. Our Nation was founded on these hopes and truths that "all" men (inclusive for persons) are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. My hope, during this season of hope, is that truth would prevail and that people everywhere would find the true hope of mankind Jesus Christ. Even if the government would provide the financial hopes that we desire the true hope of the soul and spirit is not achieved thought money but through a relationship with God through his son Jesus. That eternal hope is far greater than anything that a politician can promise us.

    Gov Huckabee,
I don't know if you follow Madam Secretary. This season she has been elected as a non-conventional president. In the 12/1 episode, she is being railroaded by Congressional committees wanting to impeach her. Long story made short, they do not impeach her following a public outpouring started by a 10 year old child holding a sign that says "She's my president". That hit social media and citizens flocked to the White House in support of the Prrsident. I realize that this is just television, but I remember the outpouring of support for Chi - Fil-A when you publicly called out those who proposed a boycott because of the CEO's personal views. It might not make a difference with this House of Representatives, but I believe that the President needs to have a display of support from the multitudes of American citizens who firmly believe that "He's my President!"

I believe that you might be in the position - and be willing - to push this to the public at large.

    Thank you.

    Very respectfully,
    Leesa Kent

The Democrats have behind closed doors along with their hand picked witnesses and Professors have convinced them selves they have a case against Trump. All they have are hand me down opinions and rumors and second hand and third and fourth hand information. These people are guilty of slander and double making . They should not be allowed ever to have Government employment of any kind or level again, maybe even put in prison for awhile also .

I remember when Pelosi was being called "Queen Pelosi". I think Queen Nancy has now become the COURT JESTER. I'm so sick of the Dem's stupidity and corruptness that I don't watch much news. I think of President Trump and the Dems like a very large dog being surrounded by a bunch of yapping, snapping little curs and he just ignores them. Our president is above all this nonsense and just goes ahead and serves the American people. God bless him.

Below is the "report" by A. Schiff--
    See the preface----
"This report reflects the evidence gathered thus far by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, in coordination with the Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, as part of the House of Representatives’ impeachment inquiry into Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States".

Now see the United States Constituition--Article I, section 2--
"The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment. "---
This sentence includes an "and" in it's description--that means the House has the power to 'chuse' their Speaker and have the sole power of impeachment---it does NOT say that a 'committee' has this power--it says the 'House'---that same 'House' that may 'chuse' their speaker. Are we to assume that this sentence is really two sentences?--that the 'House' can chuse' their speaker, but a committee' can impeach?---I don't think so-and any legal jerk cannot refute this--the logic here is ironclad.

This whole process is unconstitutional from the get-go-

-for some unknown reason US citizens don't seem to get it

Impeach Pelosi NOW we say - her impeachable offense: she called us (America) a Monarchy - during her flustered blubbering when Reporter asked if she hated Trump. We are NOT a reason why we left the Queen"s monarchy.

Anderson Cooper, about to pose a question to Joe Biden during one debate, stated unequivocably that we "know" neither you nor your son did anything wrong...." I guess Cooper just "presumed" that, which is the same thing to progressives as evidence. I don't know about anyone else, but when Cooper said that I wanted to kick in my TV. (Sorry, violence is contageous.)

As for Melania Trump: We are so lucky to have this beautiful, gracious, gentile woman as our First Lady. What kind of idiots would boo her at the opiod conference? These morons never give up criticizing not just Trump, but anyone close to him.

The "Fool the Public Charade" of high crimes investigations is in it multi-decade performance with the impeachment trial. Have you ever noticed that with all the chest beating, get to the truth theatrics put on by the top actors that on both sides, that only a few low level individuals ever get convicted of any crime. When is the public going to wake up and realize they are being hood winked. The real criminals in Washington are running the greatest cover-up show in history and the public is buying it hook, line and sinker.

Gov. you are close by where today a horrible event happened at our base there in Pensacola. HOW? Who is suppose to be ck on these people many who hate us to come here? Said he had writings of hating America? Where is our FBI, CIA? We so busy over a fake Impeaching that our own are taken down per lack of interest? We are not loved by so many Muslims and this was just one who got through the cracks? I have had family work in Saudi and said not as close as many might expect. So who did not catch what this Saudi was saying?
My heart goes out to those who lost a loved one for our lack of who we have become in this country a divider not any Russian that has divided us but ourselves. We keep allowing this per many even in the Republicans sit quiet. By what I have heard today after all of this from the Media is very little concern. More concern on the View today over a young man who died at the border and how we let this happen our Administration they said on this show. Meghan was beside herself over this and I do not believe they showed this much concern when two vans with mothers and children were gunned down awhile back at the border by Cartels? Lets get real and stop the drama. Yes, sad for any young immigrant passing but also have the same concern for the many other thousands died in Mexico last year per drug cartels and the drugs they send here that kill our loved ones too?

Thank you Gov. Huckabee for honesty. Thanks to Newsmax & Fox news (most of the programming). I feel much sympathy for Prof. Turley. He made so much sense. Unfortunately, the democrats & the far left media don't see it this way. This hatred for the President is over the top. And of course attacking the First Lady. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel! I think it's going to get worst, if that's possible. When the President gets re-elected & I believe he will, I'm fear that this hatred & division will continue to the end of his second term. How can we feel comfortable with living in country which people can create such discourse? Day in & day out, it's getting sickening. I do hope & pray that ALL the republicans will stick together when it gets to the senate. Sen. Romney & a couple of others better heed the word, or else they'll be handing this government over to the dems.

It might be informative to younger generations to do an internet search for "socialism at Plymouth" & "socialism at Jamestown." What a quick history lesson about how well socialism worked here...(it didn't) and how quickly capitalism was succesfully , willing, & gratefully adopted by our forefathers.

When Nancy Pelosi says she prays for Pres. Trump, I imagine she prays: Dear God, help me impeach Donald Trump.
