2. New Guidelines for Pro-Abortion crowd
Speaking of leftists redefining words, abortion is the issue where they have to keep changing terms most often. They’re constantly having to come up with new fuzzy euphemisms (choice, women’s health care, reproductive justice, etc. etc.) to keep the public from realizing that they’re talking about killing and dismembering babies in the womb. Despite their self-righteous rhetoric, if they really believed the act they're defending was moral and just, they wouldn't always be trying to hide it.
And since abortion is suddenly all over the media, the need for new fuzzy euphemisms has intensified. To prevent a fuzzy euphemism supply chain crisis, the Pro-Choice Caucus just sent out new guidelines to House Democrats listing new terms that are “helpful” to their cause and old terms that are “harmful” (i.e., people are on to them.)
It seems that “Choice” is now harmful, while “Decision” is helpful (I guess they'll rename themselves the “Pro-Decision Caucus.”) Note that neither tells you what they actually want you to choose/decide to do, which is to abort your child. A “conscience clause” to protect people with religious objections from being forced to perform abortions should now be given the negative name, “refusal or denial of care laws.” Instead of “unwanted pregnancy,” say “unexpected pregnancy” (never mind that many unexpected pregnancies are greeted with joy, not a desire to abort the baby.
The most obvious: instead of saying, “safe, legal and rare,” say “safe, legal and accessible.” I’ve already reported on pro-abortion activists criticizing that term because saying you want abortions to be rare makes them sound tragic, so they’re actually rooting for as many abortions as possible. Think that’s unfair partisan hyperbole? One activist tweeted that he wanted to impregnate another radical activist just so they could abort the baby. And here’s a roundup of just how sick, depraved and ghoulish some of these people have become. Warning: don’t click on this unless you have a strong stomach.
In the meantime, have you ever noticed that the other side never changes its terminology? We’re pro-life. We call that clump of cells in the womb a “preborn baby.” What we oppose is “abortion.” That’s because we think it’s the killing of an innocent child. No fuzzy euphemisms have ever been necessary to confuse the public. When you’re speaking up for what’s true and right, you don’t need to play shell games with words to hide what you stand for.
3. Paging Our New Disinformation Czarina!
In February, Biden press secretary Jen Psaki strongly denied a Washington Free Beacon report that so-called “safe smoking kits” given to drug addicts by nonprofits eligible for a $30 million federal grant program contained crack pipes. So now that the kits are being distributed, the Beacon sent reporters to five cities (DC, New York, Boston, Baltimore and Richmond, Virginia), where they obtained these kits.
They found that they did, indeed, contain crack pipes, “as well as paraphernalia for the use of heroin, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine readily available without requiring or offering rehabilitation services.” They even published a photo of the supplies from all five kits.
When asked about this confirmation of the story, Psaki again claimed it was inaccurate and said, “This is a conspiracy theory being spread out there.”
Are you starting to wonder if Hunter Biden is the only person close to the President who’s been smoking a crack pipe?
4. A Brilliant, New Ad Campaign
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) has a brilliant new ad campaign targeting voters in blue states by playing on their “Biden remorse.”
It’s aimed at people who fell for Biden’s false promise to “restore normalcy,” and are now getting hammered by out of control gas and food prices, empty store shelves, runaway crime and all the other problems brought about by failed Democrat policies. The ads tell those hoodwinked voters, “It’s not your fault” (although it kind of is: I spent well over a year warning them what was coming.) But they can start turning things around by electing Republicans on the state level.
I’m sure this will also appeal to a lot of people in red states who would like to see blue states turn red so everyone would quit fleeing to their states.

5. Biology 101 Meets Marketing 101
Calvin Klein seems to think they’ll sell a lot of clothing to men if their Mother’s Day ad campaign includes photos of a “pregnant man.” It’s actually a transgender man who still retains female reproductive organs. Or as that’s known in the land of reality, “a woman.” There is no such thing as a pregnant man. They are even rarer than men who would buy Calvin Klein underwear because they saw this ad.
Meanwhile, Target department stores have apparently never heard the warning, “Get woke, go broke.” They’re saying, “Hold muh Chardonnay!” to all those other big companies whose stock prices crashed since they started targeting radical gender politics at children. This one’s so bad that even some leftwing LGBT groups denounced it.
6. Netflix Tired Of Getting Woke And Going Broke
After seeing its stock take a 70% nosedive in six months, Netflix executives seem to have finally learned a lesson, put some starch in their shorts and stood up to the radical left crybabies that had seemingly taken over the company. A new “culture memo” has been sent out to employees, obviously targeted at the wokesters who keep pushing their political agenda in shows nobody watches and who threw tantrums and stormed out because Netflix refused to cancel Dave Chappelle for mocking radical trans activists.
The memo informs them that it’s their business to create entertainment for a wide range of customers with different viewpoints, and if they aren’t willing or capable of doing that, they might want to consider working somewhere else.
Hallelujah! They should have told them that on day one, but at least they’re finally saying it. Maybe Elon Musk’s plans to fire 1,000 Twitter employees made them think, “Wait? We could do that?” Yes, you can. So can a lot of other companies that are letting the leftist tail wag the dog, and they’d better realize it before they all go into Chapter 11.
7. Ashley Judd speaks out
Out of respect for her family’s privacy, I wasn’t planning on saying any more about the tragic loss of Naomi Judd. But her daughter Ashley decided that it was important to reveal the circumstances and cause of her death, both to end prying and speculation, and because it might help prevent other such tragedies.
