The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s method of funding, which doesn’t require it to go through the annual appropriations process, is constitutional. I frankly don’t understand how conservative Justices could find it allowable for one agency not to have to be held to the same standards of accountability to our elected representatives as every other agency. This is yet another reason why the GOP needs to retake the Congress and White House. We can't keep depending on the SCOTUS to fix everything that a leftist Congress breaks.

Even worse, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Maryland’s largest school district doesn’t have to let parents opt their K-5 out of classes and books that push LGBTQ topics like gender and sexuality, even if it conflicts with their religious beliefs. The judges claimed the parents had not shown how the policy would violate their children’s First Amendment right to free exercise of religion. Maybe they’d like to sit down and let me explain that to them.

Let’s pray the Supreme Court at least gets this one right and reverses it ASAP.
