There’s officially less than one week remaining until the 2022 midterm elections, and Democrats are so panicked at realizing they made a YUUUGE mistake by running on nothing but unrestricted abortion and January 6th obsession that they’re desperate for a “Hail Mary” pass to save them. I predict this will not be it.

It was announced this morning that President Biden will make an unscheduled speech at the Capitol today. The subject wasn’t revealed, but since a White House official said it’s because “that's where there was an attempt to subvert our Democracy,” I think we can all guess what’s coming. Shouldn’t the SPCA step in and stop him from beating this dead horse?

You’d think the Democrats would have Biden out campaigning in once-safe major races, but only if you didn’t know what a train wreck his rally speeches have become. That’s why they’re sending him as far away from really important races as possible. Just in the past couple of days, he’s added these comments to an ever-more-worrying list of “senior moments”...

He said “Iraq war” when he meant “Ukraine,” then said he was thinking of Iraq because that’s where his son Beau died (he didn’t die there)…he thought Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was in the Senate…falsely claimed to have attended a historically black college (it reminded me of Steve Martin’s comedy bit, “I started out as a poor black child”)…and claimed he spoke to the man who “invented insulin.” Credit for discovering insulin could go to three or four people, all of whom died before 1978, and two of whom died before Biden was even born.

It’s said that the day after Election Day will mark the beginning of the 2024 Presidential race. I suspect that even top Democrats are finally starting to realize that whoever the Republican nominee is, he or she won’t be running against Joe Biden, and by 2024, might not even be replacing Joe Biden.
