Casting further doubt on the natural, animal origin theory of COVID-19, a new Oxford University study found that there were no bats or pangolins sold at Wuhan wet markets between May 2017 and the first COVID cases in 2019. (FYI: the university already had this data from a study of a different disease, which I assume is why the Chinese government couldn’t prevent them from gathering it.) The authors say bats are rarely consumed in central China (most of the photos of them in markets are actually from Indonesia), and there is a pangolin trade, but not in Wuhan.

Interestingly, the study did find 38 species of animals were sold in Wuhan, either as pets or for human consumption, including badgers, raccoon dogs, hedgehogs, peacocks and reptiles, but no bats or pangolins. I’m hoping most of those were pets.

So bats and pangolins appear to be off the suspect list for starting the pandemic, which throws even more suspicion onto the rats in Beijing.

In regards to the mixing of human dna and animals, I have this comment Out of a religious book I read 55 years ago, (I’m 72), : The amalgamation of man with beast required the cleansing of this world by the flood.

Another comment I appreciate came from a meeting in 1983 that I sat in on listening to Cal Thomas when he was asked how he started his day : “I like to start my day by reading the Bible and then the NewYork Times. That way I know what both sides are doing that day. “

You continue to use the KJV for your Daily Bible Verse. While I know that some of your readers prefer this version of the Bible, recent discoveries have shown that the Hebrew and Greek demonstrate incontrovertibly that newer versions of the Bible, such as the ESV, more accurately translate those languages in which the Bible was written.

Will you at least consider using these more accurate translations of our most holy Bible?

    A student of both languages,

I have felt from the beginning that the lab was the probable source for the virus. The way the CCP acted and is acting told me that they were hiding something big. When you remember that losing face in the Far East is a big deal, the pieces fall into place that the virus came from the lab.

When we were in China, I have pictures of dried bats in the wet markets. There were cases of them Guangzhou. I do not know what they did with them but we assumed they were for food.

The Wuhan virus was an act of war by the Chinese Communist Government. China is responsible and should be treated so.
