Sociopathic North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un must have been inspired by the Taliban’s long list of forbidden activities and possessions (their brand of Islam truly puts the “ban” in “Taliban”), because he seems intent on topping theirs.

Even simple diversions such as getting together and singing, perhaps with a glass of that delicious North Korean beer if one can be found, have been outlawed. (At high levels of government, one may assume that the music plays on and the vintage champagne flows.) Essentially all forms of entertainment are forbidden now, in a country where you’d think they were especially needed to help citizens cope with the bleakness and struggle of everyday life. North Koreans must save their throats for singing Kim’s praises. And of course, they have to save their energy to be able to stand in the public square for hours on end and wave banners for all those military parades, cheering the rows upon rows of tiny bouncing soldiers and the missile-themed parade floats. Those interminable events, apparently the only Kim-sanctioned activities, must be really fun for all.

But now, Kim Jong-Un has outdone himself. He’s cracked down on Mother’s Day.

According to a source for the Daily NK, North Koreans can no longer buy Mother’s Day flowers with attached ribbons, which are often added to signify feelings such as “I love you” and “thank you.” The Great Dictator has decided that such festive decorations detract from the significance of flower baskets that are placed before pictures of his father and grandfather (and, I’m guessing, Big Brother himself). So don’t thank your mother for devoting her sad life to you; save all your thanks for the Demented Leader who has given you all you have –- and can take it all away with a snap of his fingers..

This is what totalitarianism looks like, the fate that Americans have fought and died to protect us and our allies from. On this Thanksgiving Day, in an increasingly dangerous world, we should be especially thankful for our freedom.

Mother’s Day, too.

I have contacted my senators and reps and all say the same thing. Will lose jobs. But I have proposed The Loyalty Minimum Wage. At the same time The Left Dems can not use minimum wage as a talking point in the 2018 election which that will be their main focus.. And The Unions might not be able to raise their wages as in their contracts if minimum wage goes up then theirs does too. But THE LOYALTY MINIMUM WAGE is this. Raise the wage to $8.00 an hour to keep it simple and add .50 cents every 6 months for a 2 year period to people that hold the same jobs for that length of time. Like after 2 years of being a loyal employ you will be making $10.00 a hour. And any 2 people with an apartment of whatever can have a decent place since that will be $20.00 a hour combined for 40 hours a week. which is $41,600 a year. Assuming that they appeal ObamaCare to lose the 30 hour work weeks. 3 write ups a year can lose your job or 2 in a 6 month period. For people who come in late and don't show up for work. Or however it would be best. This is a WIN-WIN for employ and employer. It is not fair for someone to come in and make same thing that has been on the job for 2 or 3 or more years. Its demeaning and not even a good way to run a business. That way a company can start up a business easier with the low starting minimum wage and get better dedicated people who want to better their lives and can expect to be respected for being a dedicated employ. And after 2 years of being in business they should be doing better that they would be able to pay the .50 cent wage increase per every 6 months. And when you start another job you will have to go back to $8.00 if that is all that some companies might pay. But from my experience and statistics people making $8.00 are very few. But I have known people to work 3 years and just get raises that put them over $8.50 a hour and then Obama has had these people on LIMITED FOODSTAMPS because they were in poverty and working the ObamaCare 30 hour weeks. What a horrible life they live. Kim Jung-Un has such an evil heart. I will pray for all of these poor souls...that God will meet them at their
need. That in the midst of this misery they will reach out to God and the Holy Spirit will bring them comfort. God have mercy on them all.

This comment has nothing to do with your today's articles but just wanted to say: I enjoyed your shows when you were on Fox and am now watching your new show and of course, your comments on Fox News - most of which I totally agree with. Just have one complaint. I almost get sick to my stomach when I see your guests and the Fox women so immodestly dressed. All those mini skirts, and blouses that show way too much of their breasts is sickening. I don't like looking at their nakedness and neither does God. God gave the example of modesty in the garden when he dressed Adam & Eve in tunics (most authorities say tunics are from the shoulders to knees - others say they are flowing garments to the ankles) - whatever, anything less than that is nakedness. It's no wonder men lust when they can't escape looking at all that skin. You know, they say, men are visual and their sex hormones are hard to control. Just had to get that off my chest.

Mike, I greatly appreciate your commentary on current issues. I read them daily. I have wondered...is there no “underground” dissent in NK that we and/or our allies could help to overthrow this demented dictator? Hope you run for president again. While I appreciate President Trump, you are a much more informed, wise and godly man! May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and your family!

I thank you Mike for your honest news going on around the World. This infuriated me, not only his propaganda and nukes he’s building which is pure evil. But the humanitarian aspect is despicable. This country is starving to death and being oppressed beyond their control. If no other reason there should be some kind of action taken by not only us but all the world, we can’t just sit by and watch this take place and I believe president Trump is dealing with it better than any other president, but we Christians should be praying without seizing for this outcome ??

And because of our past Presidents weakness, we are now facing a terrible threat to our own way of life. Possible nukes in our own back yards.
I pray for President Trump to have the knowledge and wisdom to deal with this barbarian dictator!

Very thankful to live in a free country. Praying Jesus will break the bonds of oppression over the country of N Korea and that the people can be saved physically & spritually. Thanks Governor for speaking truth. You are much appreciated for standing in the gap for real truth. Your news briefs are refreshing! Hope you and family have a blessed Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for!

I look at this as a very positive event. When you take away the ability of an already suppressed nation to enjoy even one little comfort and joy, it will cause rebellion. If and uprising can come from within (especially with sympathy from his military), KJU will be history and we won't have to lift a finger to help his demise.
