Today's Edition

Former deputy (and, for a time, acting) FBI Director Andrew McCabe could face prosecution, now that U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jesse Liu (a Trump appointee) has ruled the criminal referral against him, courtesy of Inspector General Michael Horowitz (an Obama appointee), can go forward. I was going to explain the road this case has traveled –- since April of last year –- to reach this point, but Andrew C. McCarthy has just done that so clearly that I’ll link to his commentary at the end.

But first, I want to look at one aspect of the case that, oddly, isn’t getting much attention from either conservative or mainstream media, though I think it will, certainly if McCabe is indicted and goes to trial. We’ve been focusing on the “Andy” McCabe of “Andy’s office,” where he, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and others apparently met and talked about an “insurance policy” in the very unlikely event Trump won the election. Our focus on that has been for good reason, as he was part of a group that appears for all the world to have been “colluding” to stop the election of Donald Trump and, later, the ascension to office of a duly-elected President of the United States. Serious stuff; in fact, Joe diGenova, in an interview with Sean Hannity Thursday night, had no problem whatsoever with calling it sedition.

With gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

"Huckabee" preview

By Mike Huckabee

Join me tonight for another brand new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN, when I’ll welcome Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, the newly-elected chairman of the House Freedom Caucus (wonder if he’ll have anything to say about the popularity of socialism among his colleagues across the aisle?)  Rebecca Friedrichs, whose landmark lawsuit freed public school teachers from forced unionization, will tell parents how to help good teachers educate your kids, not indoctrinate them.  We’ll also have an inspiring visit with Holocaust survivor Edward Mosburg, share some goofy news “In Case You Missed It” and laugh with a comedian like none you’ve ever heard before, the amazing Joe Saba. All that and more, topped off by a hit song from rising country star, Cody Webb. Now that’s a show!

It’s all coming your way tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and the same times on Sunday, on TBN. Just visit and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top to find all the ways to watch, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming. You can also stream full previous episodes of “Huckabee” and see highlights.  And be sure to check out all the Internet-only “Digital Exclusives,” like extended interviews and extra musical and comedy performances, all at

Fake news

By Mike Huckabee

Here’s your weekend double scoop of fake news: You might’ve heard that the Air Force signed a deal to refuel planes at a Scottish airport near President Trump’s Turnberry golf resort. Surely, you know what that means: Trump must’ve rigged it somehow for him to make a profit! Bribery! Greed! Collusion! EMOLUMENTS!!!  Load up the impeachment cannons!...

Oh, wait. Turns out the deal to refuel the planes there was actually signed back when Obama was in office.

Well, don’t feel bad, Democrats.  I’m sure the NEXT hyped-up non-scandal will finally be the one to bring Trump down.  But I also hate to tell you that the accusations against Ben Carson and his wife over a dining table for the HUD offices also turned out to be a hyped-up non-scandal, so don’t get your hopes up there, either.

Say, here’s a suggestion: instead of constantly working yourselves up into lathers over nonsensical accusations that you think will drive your opponents from office, only to crash into depressions when they’re revealed as phony, maybe try getting some policies that Americans actually like and get elected yourselves.  Might be easier on your nervous systems. Mull it over.

By AOC's standards, she is a racist

By Mike Huckabee

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “Squad” are blasting a PAC that ran a commercial in Houston during the Democratic debate, showing AOC’s photo burning to reveal behind it skulls of victims of the Cambodian communist genocide, which it described as the true face of socialism.  Naturally, AOC blasted the ad as “racist” and “a love letter to the GOP’s white supremacist case,” since apparently, all criticism of her is racist and white supremacist, no matter what the subject.

Except in this case, the person behind the ad, and who appears onscreen in it, is former Republican Congressional candidate Elizabeth Heng, a Cambodian refugee whose family was persecuted by Cambodia’s brutal communist dictatorship before fleeing to America.

Heng even plainly says in the ad, “My skin is not white. I’m not outrageous, or racist, or a socialist. I’m a Republican.”  And she fired back at AOC,  “Are you really calling me a racist?...I’m calling all Democrats out for supporting an evil ideology. Or are you just in Congress to hang out with celebrities and tweet out ridiculous ideas like the green new deal?”

If I were AOC, I’d think long and hard (yeah, I know) before responding to Ms Heng. She’s a woman of color, so by AOC's own standards, if she questions anything Ms Heng says, she is a racist.

I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:

No doubt Sen. Ted Cruz took great delight in tweaking the nose of the alleged “fact-checking” site Politifact, reminding them that during his Senate race against “Beto” O’Rourke, they rated his claim that “Beto” wanted to confiscate guns as “FALSE.” Wonder if they’re going to rate the T-shirts “Beto” is selling as “FALSE,” too?

“Beto” O’Rourke is obviously not qualified for the Presidency of even a medium-size frat house, but I think we may have found a job that he’s perfect for: chief marketer for the gun industry.

When you’re saying your prayers this weekend, please include a prayer that this doesn’t turn into another hurricane.  Because it doesn’t take “climate change” for that to happen in an area that’s been known for many years as “Hurricane Alley.”
