Many mail-in votes are still being counted in the California primary, but the San Francisco Chronicle reports that there are indications of buyer's remorse among voters who elected Democrats last time. The total Republican primary vote was higher than the Democrat vote in six of the seven House districts that flipped to Democrats in 2018. Which begs the obvious questions: “Only six out of seven are feeling buyer’s remorse? Have they not been paying attention?”

You can also tell Bailey is a socialist because he expects his master to take care of him and provide his every need, plus he obviously believes that there is such a thing as a free lunch.

The most delicious fallout yet from Sen. Chuck Schumer publicly threatening Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh if they don’t vote the way he wants in a new abortion case: the pro-Second Amendment group Gun Owners of America is demanding that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo invoke the new “red flag law” that he just pushed through and bar Schumer from purchasing any guns due to his mental instability and being a known threat.

As great as this idea is on principle, it won’t make any real world difference because Schumer doesn’t own a gun (he can always call on armed government security agents, unlike the rest of us.) Also, unfortunately, mental stability doesn’t disqualify you from being a Senator, particularly in New York.

On the national level, here’s another seemingly inexplicable way in which the left is working hard to make your life harder and crime easier.
Thursday, all House Republicans and 42 Democrats joined to pass an amendment to the Rights for Transportation Security Officers Act. The bill would give TSA agents, the people who provide security at airports, protections similar to other government workers, such as collective bargaining and whistleblower protection. However, as with too many other government agencies, it would make firing a bad TSA agent a difficult process that takes months or even years. So a bipartisan amendment was passed to bar anyone convicted of terrorism, sexual assault and other violent crimes from working for the TSA.
And…brace yourself…174 Democrats voted against that! They include House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and all four members of AOC’s leftist “Squad.” Ponder that for a moment: they actually opposed banning terrorists from working in airport security jobs and giving convicted sexual predators the power to order strangers to disrobe or to “pat down” entire families.
Maybe there’s some perfectly justifiable reason that has nothing to do with wanting to harm America and its citizens that would justify fighting for the right of terrorists and sexual predators to be TSA agents. If so, feel free to put it in the comments. But if it’s not a deliberate act of national suicide, then it sure is a great impersonation of one.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is the latest court to decide that it, not the President, has the power to set immigration policy. The Court blocked Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy for asylum seekers along the California and Arizona borders, where it has jurisdiction (at least this time, they didn’t try to make their court orders nationwide.) The policy requires asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their requests to enter the US are being examined, rather than letting them in, where they can simply disappear into the population.

The court stayed the order until March 12 while the Trump Administration petitions the Supreme Court to overrule it, before large numbers of foreigners start streaming across the border. That could be disastrous when they’re trying to contain the coronavirus (this has already proven to be a problem with the spread of tropical diseases from Central America into the US.)
Note to Justice Sotomayor: THIS is why Trump has to keep coming to the SCOTUS for emergency rulings. They aren’t fantasies made up by the White House, they’re actual emergencies caused by leftist lawfare litigants and out-of-control judges who constantly ignore the Constitutional limits of their powers.
