No wi-fi where Anthony Weiner is going

September 26, 2017

Former Congressman Anthony Weiner has been sentenced to 21 months in prison after pleading guilty to a single count of transferring obscene material to a minor.

This was the shortest sentence possiblein the range prosecutors had asked for --- it could have been up to 27 months --- but Weiner still broke down sobbing in the courtroom. He had wanted probation. Never mind that there surely had been many, many instances of similar lewdness he could have been charged with, and that this judge wanted to make it clear that his behavior was a serious offense.

On the other hand, perhaps the soon-to-be ex-husband of top Hillary aide Huma Abedin was crying because he’d just heard you don’t get wi-fi in jail. In his case, that’s another great argument for putting him behind bars.

I think he should be put away for life so he can't ruin children. Wifi deprivation is not a big thing. He got off easy in my eye.
