From Barry B:

Mike, Whatever happened to the Durham Report, that generated a lot of false hope and excitement? Is it dead and buried, or is it buried and now dead?

...

Thanks for writing, Barry.  Sadly, both your choices have the word "dead" in them, meaning, I assume, not just merely dead but really most sincerely dead.  That pessimism is understandable considering how long we've been waiting for resolution.

Durham's report is supposed to be submitted by the end of the year, so let's hope that happens.  Surely this special counsel knew that his "prosecutions" would not bring convictions in those particular courtrooms, and he obviously was using them as a vehicle to get the facts out and tell the real story of the Russia Hoax.  He accomplished that, at least for anyone who was paying attention.  But now it needs to be released in final, official form.

Notice that in anticipation of that report, it's starting to be circle-the-wagons time at the DOJ, including by this Obama-era official who, a couple of months ago, shortly after Igor Danchenko walked, called for a "pause" to avoid releasing findings that might "unfairly tarnish" the FBI.  News flash:  at this point, the FBI is already so tarnished that all the silver polish in Martha Stewart's kitchen couldn't make it look better.

Matthew Miller, former director of the DOJ's public affairs office (2009-2011), says the report should be reviewed by Attorney General Merrick Garland or "another top official" --- we're guessing former Obama attorney and current deputy AG Lisa Monaco --- before a decision is made on whether or not to publicly release its findings.

Miller takes issue with "the way Durham has behaved," including "inappropriate public statements during this investigation," his "poor judgment," etc.  It has to be read to be believed.  Some people will say anything, but this type of undeserved character assassination only serves to make us think he DOES NOT WANT this report to be made public.  If he had something better to use against Durham or the investigation, he would.

So, that's where we are right now.  The official report should be coming out soon, Durham really did connect the dots, and some people will do everything they can to keep us from reading it.

Thank you Mike for keeping us informed.
I am overwhelmed by everything that is happening to our country. I want to do something to help but other than voting, I am lost. Any suggestions?

If garland or monaco (or any democrat) gets to decide whether or not the report should be released--we know where that would go. I say, release the report. If they don't like the results, too bad. I also don't like the results of much that the democrats come up with--but that doesn't seem to stop them from releasing their reports. Oh, and should we not be critical any info of the kangaroo j6 panel they keep releasing in tantalizing tidbits?

Thanks for the article; I have been wondering what happened to this investigation as well. Hopefully we do not have to have a war to distract from this and all the other things coming to the surface. I won't hold my breath.
    Best wishes!

Mike, I read your article about John Durham’s report and wether it would be published. Well now that Elon Musk owns twitter I think Elon would definitely publish it as he “IS” for free of speech. I think that those on the left want to have their speech but not those who they disagree with who also have the right to free speech which “IS” freedom of speech!

    Dear Mike,
All those directly involved, all those who knew about the planning of the Russian hoax in order to harm the President, and all those who didn't tell authorities, committed MISPRISION OF TREASON.

It will not matter what is in the report, what comes from Twitter or if the "intelligent" community signed a statement that they lied about the Russia Hoax. Nothing is going to happen to any of these people, the FBI will continue sabatage of the country and the border will remain forever open. We get out hopes that something will happen and things will again be true and we can believe in justice but that is not going to happen. Hope is not a plan and hope is all we have. Better to accept the truth than to be constantly disappointed. The GOP will do no better than the Dem. At least the Dem stick together right or wrong. The GOP are still leading like they did 40 or 50 years ago and are so far behind the real world that they will never catch up. Polite and proper accommplishing nothing and the country goes to??; Most of them need to go and #1 McConnell. He sabatoged GA as much as anyone. Walker did not fit his idea of a Senator, and he let GA down by not fighting for the seat. He passed a 1.7 trillion cookie jar full of candy bill to create more hardship on the middle class and let the future congress down as much for pride as anything else because the new congress had a chance to stop the train wreak but because he, McConnell, and the Senate would not get the recogonition, he would rather us all parish. Self-serving hippocrates, the lot.

I would hope that you, and others will find a way to get to the actual report before it is "cleansed" by those in power. I cannot imagine how we will ever get out of the mess that has been created by our political class, and especially those that are so inclined to be extreme prevaricators in the dissemination of information, and I can't imagine how the Constitutional Republic will survive either since we are so tolerant of those that would burn it to ashes, beginning more than a hundred years ago, (probably longer, but that is the timeline that I am familiar with.). I don't have any idea what it would take to get to the truth anymore since there are so many in the political class at all levels of governmental excess that are actively working to destroy the thin fabric of civilization in this country and the world, but I pray that it will persevere somehow!!!
