This is an example of one of the things President Trump should’ve mentioned in the debate, if Savannah Guthrie had stopped interrupting him and demanding that he denounce white supremacy for the 100th time: The Administration has reached a deal with CVS and Walgreens to ensure that when a COVID-19 vaccine is ready, it will be provided to all residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities free of charge.

Here’s a great weekend story to take your mind off politics and remind you that there are other things in life that need tending to. Stacy Lois Oliver was a Chicago woman who died at 52 of the neurodegenerative disorder MSA. But before she did, she wrote her own obituary. It contains a lot of wise advice, so much that it went viral. Read it yourself, then go smell some roses. And say a prayer for her husband, Jeff, too.

And The Award For Most Creative Excuse of 2020 Goes To… NPR, for accusing Republicans who question why a well-connected ne’er-do-well and known drug abuser like Hunter Biden makes millions from foreign deals of “stigmatizing” people suffering from the disease of addiction.

I care about and pray for anyone fighting the disease of addiction, but that doesn’t mean when you see one of them with no qualifications being paid $50,000 a month for a do-nothing job, the logical response is, “Wow, that 12-step program must really be working!”

If you think that’s too harsh, maybe it’s because outlets like NPR have spent years stigmatizing Republicans as cold, mean, unfeeling monsters instead of just people who have the simple abilities to think logically and to smell a rat.

Like a cheap piñata full of rotten candy, the Hunter Biden laptop story just keeps dropping more disgusting stuff on our heads every time we touch it. There are so many fast-changing details that it’s hard to keep up. This is just a little of what’s been going on in the past two days, none of which you would know if you relied on the mainstream news or social media to hear about it:

As of now, the laptop has been corroborated to be Hunter Biden’s, and one of the people copied on one particularly damning email chain has verified the “big guy” message that appeared to give Joe Biden a 10 percent cut. The “big guy” definitely is Joe Biden according to this source. (I think this dollar-distribution was from when Biden was no longer VP, so I assume his attorneys and apologists will argue it’s technically legal, no matter how bad it smells.)

Nineteen House Republicans led by Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs have written a letter to the FBI, asking why they would have held onto the laptop through Trump’s impeachment, knowing it contained information about Hunter Biden’s activities in Ukraine that would’ve been key to the President’s defense. Yeah, a lot of us are wondering about that.

So, what will remarkably incurious FBI Director Christopher Wray do now to protect the swamp rats? Trump himself needs to declassify whatever the FBI has on this and order them to comply immediately. If they were holding on to evidence that was exculpatory for Trump during his impeachment, that might be the worst thing yet!

Also, there’s a big, related developing story about more emails being obtained, these from one of Biden’s business partners showing that the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese investors were able to get a private, off-the-books meeting with Joe Biden. This is separate from what the New York Post reported. Peter Schweizer (who wrote “Secret Empires”) is reporting this one; his source is Bevan Cooney (who used to be a business associate of Hunter Biden and Devon Archer and is now a jailbird.)

Schweizer reports that Cooney let him have his account name and Gmail password to allow direct access to all the messages. So Schweizer got a huge “window” into how business was conducted Biden-style as Hunter traded “established relationships” with the Chinese and got them access to the Obama-Biden White House. This business is referred to in the emails as “China, Inc.” One email from Cooney said that “Archer got the Chinese guys all taken care of in DC.”

This allegedly includes a high-level meeting with Joe Biden himself, though the official visitor logs make no mention of it. We know about it because of some obscure document by one of the “Chinese folks,” Maggie Cheng, boasting that she had facilitated delegation meetings, including the one with VP Biden.

Laura Ingraham on Fox News had a good segment on this, showing how the media are trying to soft-pedal the story. George Stephanopoulos’s failure to ask Biden a single question about any of this should now be seen for what it is. Likewise, David Ignatius, in WaPo’s “The Truth Behind the Hunter Biden Non-Scandal,” who said: “Hunter Biden made a mistake getting involved with a dubious company like Burisma. But the notion that the Burisma affair undermines Joe Biden’s case to be President is, as he would say, malarkey.”

If anyone has always been full of malarkey, it’s David Ignatius.

When Biden is asked anything at all about it, he just gets testy, calls it “a smear campaign” and refuses to answer. Then it’s dropped. But the dam is cracking, and not even all the media and social media giants can keep holding their fingers in it and smearing on spackle forever. I'll have more on Monday, since I assume even more will pour out by then.

One only has to wonder. How many other laptops are out there? How many others laptops are in custody of the FBI? How many should be in the custody of the FBI? Sounds like a Special Prosecutor is in order? ( not Bob Mueller and friends ).
How I'd love to get my hands that laptop!

Are you as frustrated as we all are?
Do you still believe Bill Bar is a patriot?
All the obama hold overs are still in their places, no prosecutions of any traitors except a lawyer who changed some words which was probably a sacrificial lamb to appease the masses!
Bar is pulling a Session’s on us...MIA and silent.
There is only one reason to hold back his report. It’s to damming for Biden and as nasty Nancy would tell us will have to pass it in order to see what’s in it.GOD HELP US ALL(even the uninformed democratic base)

"Be careful for nothing..." What the heck does that even mean? Should we be careless? The KJV sucks in that translation. How much better is a modern translation that reads, "Do not be anxious about anything..." Friends don't let friends read the KJV. C'mon Mike, kick that old fashioned Baptist legalism and read a current translation. Verily, I beseech thee!

    Sorry Governor,
but this one will bounce off the teflon coated Democrats just like Benghazi and the Trump dossier did. It won't be reported in the MSM and will disappear as soon as some new trope on Pres. Trump is ginned up.
I blame the Republicans; they simply don't know how to go on the offense when it comes to dealing with the seriousness of these reported facts on the shenanigans the Democrats are buried up in. They just come up with another excuse that it's just the way Washington works. Heck, they can't even defend the lies the President is being accused of. It's sickening.

None of this Joe/Hunter Biden corruption matters to the Trump haters. Unless Trump wins by an absolute gigantic avalanche, and absolutely not disputable by the democrats, none of this and other presumed crimes by the Obama/Biden/Clinton/FBI/etc., the Durham report, and other trespasses by the swamp will ever be brought to the public or prosecuted. SO, pray for a record breaking landslide for Trump and Republicans Nov. 3.

The comment I want to make is relevant to the one that I just wrote in response to YESTERDAY 'S Morning Edition so please read THAT comment BEFORE you read this one!!!

Assuming now that you HAVE read that first comment, do I now, in THIS comment, want to add my PS to that comment...which is that...

President Trump should mention this new development in the Hunter Biden story as part OF the EVIL of the hatred that has been hurled at him and the hypocrisy of their accusations of what are HIS character flaws in view OF their sin OF hatred and hypocrisy, which is a graver evil THAN any they are accusing HIM of.......BUT.....AGAIN.....TO REPEAT WHAT I STATED IN MY FIRST COMMENT....

Trump must...if he wants to WIN...BE a winner....state these truths IN the authority that comes with His AGAPE love that can love the sinner, while hating the sinner's sin.. ...and going along with my last comment's suggestion that he act AS if he HAS this kind of love...even if he does NOT....perhaps you can teach him how to give a sermon....and encourage him to believe that he CAN do virtue of all the prosperity preachers who do it...and are so good AT doing it that they have deceived many into believing that being a winner, in God's eyes, is how healthy and wealthy you are....and, like the Democrats, spreading, as God's truth...about righteousness....lies that were birthed in the pit of hell!

Hmm, how many years did it take to 'make' Nixon resign, three? LOL! As many have noted, the unmitigated criminality that has been undertaken by nearly ALL our corrupt government 'alphabet agencies' against a duly elected president of this country makes the 3d rate Watergate burglary appear as devastating as spitting in the ocean! YET! 'We The Serfs' have not witnessed the first (1st) "perp walk" of any of these 'self-enriched' sedition organizers. Can we say, STILL WAITING for Mr. AG Barr and friends to produce prosecutions?

I would still be begging for a glimpse of daylight had I been guilty of 1/20th of what these criminals, including the 'criminal Clinton,' have done!!

Other than the obvious facts jOE Biden is not that sharpe and I am not either I understand why Obama didn't think Biden trying to become president was a good idea. Old Mr. Nice guy Biden will shine a light on the Obama Crime Family that smooth Obama didn't want illuminated. Not sure if Obama is getting ready to start selling his Mansions yet but I think he should line up a few realtors The light is getting brighter on the Crime Families Joe may find Housing with its own look bars on his doors and orange jumpsuits for his wardrobe not sure if his sunglasses will be allowed. or needed.

This article makes me think of two items:

One: What the Biden's have done wonder if they too broke the Logan Act?

Two: With all the money Hunter has been involved in - doesn't the girl he got pregnant have the right in her lawsuit against him - for a honest settlement for her and her child?

SALUTE.

While the Hunter Biden Laptop exposure is certainly a huge story and certainly explains Biden’s love for all things China, I think the bigger story is the cover up by twitter, and it’s owner Jack Dorsey. It is chilling indeed to think these social media companies are controlling what you may or may not see.

If I were a questioner in the upcoming hearings of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, my first question to him would be, “Mr. Dorsey, who made you God?”

When there is so much truthful information out there, how do liberals continue to deny that it happened? Some have suggested that we need to have laws on the books again about the news media being truthful. I think that even more is the problem of social media and their "education" of those who read it. We need to educate ourselves. The media has always been able to spin the news. Even when this nation was in the throes of being born, there were those that used the printed word to denigrate the opposition. Social media is the classroom of emotions, not facts. If one doesn't know the facts, emotions rule.

Unfortunately, no matter how many nefarious emails are uncovered, or ever how many people come forth to tell the truth and add to the crimes committed agai st this natiin and it's citizens, not one of the guilty parties will ever be getting a view of the Caribbean Sea through the grid of a chain-link fence at GTMO. I hope I'm wrong and justice is served, but I fear it will never happen, and my grandkids will grow up in a socialist-run environment.
