By Mike Huckabee

What A Concept! After four years of spinning fake news and anti-Trump fantasies, even the leftist media are finally being forced to belatedly acknowledge reality. It’s hard to believe, but "MSNBC Live" host Stephanie Ruhle interrupted the deranged, anti-Trump Inaugural-related rantings of Lincoln Project flamethrower Steve Schmidt to point out an inconvenient truth about Biden’s Inaugural gathering and all those troops crammed in with no social distancing:

“…Let’s be honest, you know if President Trump did this, he would be getting crushed for holding a super-spreader event. We’d all be saying it."

I never thought I would hear something like that on MSNBC. Then again, I also never thought I’d hear the phrase “Let’s be honest” on MSNBC.

"Nothing We Can Do"

By Mike Huckabee

Throughout the COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus pandemic (and yes, I will continue reminding everyone where it came from), Democrats and the media blamed President Trump for every new case and every death attributed to the virus. He was personally responsible because he “didn’t listen to the scientists” (even though the scientists repeatedly contradicted their own advice.) They never explained how it could be spreading and killing people even worse in nations where Trump wasn’t President; they simply blamed him, not the fact that just like every other very contagious and deadly virus in history, it was bound to spread and kill people.

His political rival Joe Biden was especially harsh in heaping blame on Trump, even dehumanizing him by claiming he didn’t care that people died. He and his supporters mocked Trump for saying that a vaccine would be available before the end of 2020 (when it was, Biden and Kamala Harris were among the first to get it, and never thanked Trump or admitted they were wrong.) Biden insisted, despite his previous record of slow-footed failure with the swine flu pandemic, that he could have stopped the virus; that Trump had no plan, but he had a comprehensive action plan to “crush” the virus. He promised that with him in office, Americans would soon be able to go back to the movies or out to dinner with friends.

Well, voters took him at his word. So where’s that plan to crush the virus?

Er, about that…Turns out there is no plan, other than continuing to do pretty much what Trump was already doing. This is another perfect example of my prediction that his biggest obstacle would not be Republicans, but reality. Reality: viruses don’t give a fig about your campaign promises. They just keep on virusing until they’re killed off by herd immunity or vaccines.

Friday, in a staggering flip-flop, now-President Biden finally admitted, “There is nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months."

That’s reality. His supporters are throwing out the usual feeble excuse: “Trump messed things up so badly that it will take Biden a long time to turn things around!” But that’s not what Biden said, was it? He told you he had a comprehensive plan to crush the virus, and soon. That was a lie. He did not have such a plan. Because – reality again – nobody has. Here’s that late-breaking nod to reality summed up in six words: “Before Election Day/After Election Day.”

It would also have been reality for Biden to have made that exact same statement at any time in 2020, but it wouldn’t have helped him win the election. Most Americans took as many precautions as they could, short of hiding out in their basements 24/7 (not everyone can be Joe Biden), many lost their jobs and businesses in endlessly shut-down blue states, but still, the virus spread like…well, like a virus.

Studies found no discernible difference between virus spread in shut-down and non-shutdown areas. Trump created an unprecedented public-private partnership to develop the vaccine in record time, but that still takes time. There is no “Dr. Biden’s Magic Bullet” to eliminate the coronavirus. But there are now multiple vaccines in use and on the way.

Will Biden ever acknowledge reality completely and thank Donald Trump for that?

RIP, Hank Aaron and Larry King

By Pat Reeder, “Huckabee” pop culture guru (

America is mourning the loss of two icons in their respected fields, baseball great Hank Aaron and legendary broadcaster Larry King.

Larry King passed away early Saturday morning at 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. No cause of death was given, but he had been moved into the ICU with COVID-19 on New Year’s Eve, although he was reportedly improving in recent days.

King began his 63-year broadcast career as a radio DJ and interviewer in 1957, where he would set up in a Miami restaurant and interview whoever walked in the door. He would go on to interview every newsmaker of his era, from criminals to world leaders. He also wrote books and a newspaper column, and seemingly invincible, survived lung cancer, Type 2 diabetes, multiple heart attacks, quintuple bypass surgery, and most famously, eight marriages to seven different women.

King revealed that the secret of his interviews was lack of research. He felt that interviewing subjects without knowing too much about them in advance made the conversation more natural and more relatable to listeners, since he would be asking the same questions they might ask. It sounds odd, and it sometimes led to some hilariously out-of-left-field moments, but it was always entertaining.

Hank Aaron’s family also reported Friday that the baseball legend had died at 86 of undisclosed causes.

Aaron was a giant from the era before baseball’s steroid scandals and political controversies. He started in the Negro Leagues in 1951, then played in the Major Leagues from 1954 to 1976. He hit more than 40 home runs during eight seasons, played in 25 All-Star Games, and still holds the all-time RBI record with 2,297.

The greatest moment of his career came on April 8, 1974, while playing for the Atlanta Braves, when he became the first player to break Babe Ruth’s record by hitting his 715th career home run (he would later retire as MLB’s all-time home run leader with 755.) That 715th home run was a milestone event not just for sports, but for US history, pop culture and race relations, with a crowd in Georgia giving a roaring standing ovation to a black player for breaking the record of a white baseball icon.

Aaron was also a sports hero who lived up to his image as an idol to American youth, and was famous for his decency, humility, business success and major philanthropic work.

A Good Dog Story

By Mike Huckabee

As you know, I love a good dog story, and this is a real “good dog” story. Russell Jones of London, England, injured himself, and he’s been hobbling around on crutches with a plaster cast on his leg. He noticed that his lurcher dog Bill, who was walking with him, was limping and holding up one front leg (see video at the link.)

Concerned, he took Bill to the vet clinic. After $400 worth of X-rays and other tests, the vets could find nothing wrong with him. They concluded that Bill was limping because he was copying his master out of sympathy with him.

Bill is not only a great dog, he’s now a social media star after the video of him faking a limp alongside his master went viral and has been viewed over 2 million times.

    Dear Gov. Huckabee:
We have to be careful about the reflexive statement, in many contexts, "...Biden won the election..." And remember, President TRUMP won it.
Democratic party cheating got Biden into the office.

Please tell me this is not a joke. Literally, my stomach is churning. Today I had two conservative website articles tell me I was not authorized to look at those articles! Now, the headline on the Western Journal reads: Breaking News Alert: Shock Biden Order Gives China Access to US Power Grid. I have no one else to ask. Can this be?

Great show last night! I did see the dog video, very touching. Animals do have the special sense.
I just heard some disturbing news that some of the rioters on Jan. 6 who were arrested said that President Trump told them to come to the Capitol & riot. Could verify if this is all fake news from the far-leftists?

I am a conservative first & a Republican second. That said, I very concerned with the future of the Republican Party. Far too many of our Republican leadership turned their back ton President Trump & the 75 million people that voted for him. I think we will see a dramatic decrease in contributions to the Republican Party. Thanks, Bob Downum

Then make IT EZ to read & end the Damn Lockdowns
Use graphs, charts, visual aids then
    & apply this nationwide
    & we wonder about Lockdowns?
See about 4M more names to Recall alone from this act

You are right Mike about the virus. On January 30th 2020 a press release by THE CDC stated they had discovered the 1st case of human to human spread of the virus. In the same article they stated they did not think it was anything for the American people to be concerned about. On January 31st 2020 I believe Trump stopped all travel between China and the US in a effort to save lives. The fake media had a field day calling Trump a racists. AOC called him a racists and Biden at a town hall meeting called Trump a "hysterical xenophobic". On Feb. 24th a video of Pelosi walking the street in Chinatown California surrounded by Chinese telling the American people nothing to worry about and to come on down and join them. Yet she wants to blame Trump for every death due to the virus. She accuses Trump of murder but for a couple of decades she has pushed her abortion agenda down the throats of the American people and Biden is doing the same thing. Trump put a stop to using tax dollars to pay for abortions in foreign countries (Mexico) and already Biden has reinstated that. Where does it end. Thank you Mike. Your news is one of the few I rely on to tell the truth.

"Nothing we can do" seems like the Biden team has already thrown in the towel. What can he do? Accelerate vaccinations. Make Regeneron more available. Set up field hospitals in heavily infected areas. There is plenty that the Biden Administration could do.

In response to your article entitled "REALITY", Trump WOULD be "crushed for holding a super-spreader event" like he was crushed for holding the super-spreader events of his rallies!

While the leftist media's heart motive was TO "crush" Trump when they "cried out against Trump's holding these rallies" because they HATED him, when, in contrast, I, via these comments, "cried out against Trump's holding these rallies" I did so because I LOVED him and the people his rallies were putting at risk for contracting the coronavirus because the REALITY is they WERE "super-spreader events!"

How my crying out against Trump holding these rallies was also motivated by my love for HIM is because I stated, in my comments, many times, that, in the long run, those rallies were going to be counterproductive to his winning more votes...
as a result OF those rallies....because people would accuse Trump of caring more about how those rallies would benefit HIM than how they would hurt those who would contract the virus BECAUSE they had attended his rally!...which might have been where Herman Cain contracted, and died from, the coronavirus! AND, sure enough, I proved to be right about what, in the long run, these rallies would cost Trump and those who attended them!

Yes, the heart motive of the leftist media WAS the evil of hatred, but it was NOT "fake news" ! I, personally, could not believe that, after Herman Cain died, Trump continued to HOLD rallies, and his wrong priorities grieved me, but, because I love him unconditionally, I didn't love him any less BECAUSE OF his wrong priorities!

THE only way Trump can come out of this situation as a winner is if he is confronted BY someone who loves him with the tough love of Christ's UNCONDITIONAL love that does not enable him where he has been IN the wrong
....because our Lord will continue to discipline Trump until he can admit his sin and receive Christ's forgiveness FOR his sin!

I really enjoy reading your letters. I lived in Arkansas for about 10 years. I really loved how you handle your politics! You are the first and only man I have seen that manages church and state! I voted for you for governor! Was so proud of you for pinching pennies when the governors house was being remodeled and and you and your family lived in a modular home! I have read your daughters book and loved it! I also loved how she handled the Whitehorse media. I am also disillusioned by the way big tech and the MSM spins things! Being a baby boomer and a father who taught you “Your word is your bond and your handshake is your commitment to what you are going to do.” Although I have never met you that is the felling I get from you. Thank you sir! I really mean that. I also got that same feeling from President Trump!
Mike. Mr. Huckabee. I thank you for all you do! Keep doing what you do sir??

Yes, we can stop COVID-19. There is no pandemic in Taiwan. No one had died there from it in more than TEN months. A total of SEVEN died from COVID-19 prior to March 2020. Two 5 minute nebulizer treatments using Plumicort Respules (approved by the FDA more than 20 years ago), will stop the lung inflammation caused by COVID-19. The patient with the lung inflammation will otherwise be put on a ventilator and die in a few days...

If Biden is against White Supremacy, when is he going to step down? What about Pelosi, Schumer, and other members of Congress going to do the same if they are against it?

The DIMS need to realize that in order to have unity there has to be acceptance, tolerance, and balance among the people of this nation. Name-calling, blame-gaming, and violent acts are not the answers!

Innocent until proven guilty also needs to be exercised for all people, even a certain former President who is loved by millions!

Obama blamed Bush for any perceived or misperceived issues. Biden blames Trump for any such issues. Well, Biden was Obama's flunky, after all. It amazed me that in pre-election opinion polls, more Americans trusted Biden than Trump when it came to managing the China virus. So what is Biden's plan? Plagiarizing Trump's strategy!
