Join me tonight on TBN for a terrific new episode of “Huckabee!” I’ll discuss the latest craziness out of Washington with Rep. Devin Nunes, and talk to former “Fox & Friends” host Elizabeth Hasselbeck about her beautiful new children’s book. We’ll have some much-needed laughs with “In Case You Missed It” and wild comic/ventriloquist Taylor Mason. Plus music from country star Stephanie Quayle.

The fun starts tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and Sunday at 9 EST/8 CST, on TBN. To find out how you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit and click on “Channel Finder” on the top menu. MSM fact-checkers pretty much agree

By Mike Huckabee

If you read my recap of President Biden’s first press conference, then it won’t be a surprise to you to hear that it contained a litany of jaw-dropping whoppers. But what might surprise you is that fact checkers from the Washington Post, CNN and actually examined it as well and came to pretty much the same conclusion. I’ll bet it caused them physical pain to have to write this.

Incidentally, this was from the day before the press conference, at an Equal Pay Day event (FYI: equal pay for equal work is already federal law), but it deserves to be noted as long as we’re chronicling Biden’s whoppers. He declared, “There’s not a single thing a man can do that a woman can’t do as well or better. Not a single thing.”

That drew plenty of pushback, as you can see at the link (one they didn’t quote was Sen. Ted Cruz, who tweeted, “Does that mean he’s resigning?”)

I want to point out that he claimed he was there to “ensure that our daughters have all the same rights and opportunities as our sons. And if we’re able to do this, it’ll be transformational for our nation.” However, the “transformational” legislation he’s pushing in the “Equality Act” would allow biological men to compete in women’s and girls’ sports, essentially robbing them of the right to privacy and opportunities to win championships and scholarships, because it’s a scientific fact that men can do some physical things better than women.

In fact, the only way that what he said could be true is if you define “woman” to also include “man who identifies as a woman.” Luckily for him, he does.

On that subject, kudos to Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson for signing the “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act,” which bans transgender athletes from playing on girls’ sports teams in the state.

Critics argued that it “puts transgender Arkansas residents at risk,” but at risk of what? Having to compete against people who aren’t at a biological disadvantage? There’s nothing in the bill that prevents someone from competing on a team of their biological gender or that prevents schools from having transgender sports events. It just means that biological males who are larger and stronger than biological females will not be able to take all the records and scholarships away from girls. It’s the girls and all their sports that are actually at risk if governments don’t stop denying biological reality and start defending women’s rights.

The "Pro Act"

By Mike Huckabee

Just a reminder that the Senate is taking up a House-passed bill called the “PRO Act” that’s a national version of California’s disastrous AB-5 law that destroyed the jobs of contract, freelance and gig workers from Uber drivers to club musicians. Naturally, Democrats claim they’re doing this to “help the workers” by helping them into unemployment lines. Here’s more on that bill and how the people pushing it know nothing about how the gig economy works.

But then, considering we now have a President who never held a private sector job but spent 47 years in the federal government, is it any wonder he knows nothing about what it’s like to work for a living?

Narrative Busters

By Mike Huckabee

I’m used to the facts ruining the left’s pat narratives, but the horrific mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, is proving to be a daily rolling disaster for their efforts at politicizing tragedies.

First, they screamed, “Deadly racist assault by a violent white Trump supporter!” Then it was revealed that the shooter was a Syrian refugee who hated Trump, and the victims were all white. So they hurriedly pivoted to “It’s the gun’s fault! Ban AR-15 assault rifles and pass more background checks!” I told you yesterday that the father of heroic slain officer Eric Talley spoke out, saying his son was a strong Second Amendment supporter and would be appalled that his death was being used to push gun control.

Now, there are a couple of new narrative busters: police announced that the shooter didn’t use a so-called “assault rifle,” he used a Ruger AR556, which is legally classified as a pistol. And he did pass a background check to get it. If he had bought an AR-15, he would’ve had to pass multiple layers of background checks already in place and waited longer, but it’s likely he would have passed.

There’s no place left to pivot to now except “Confiscate all guns from law-abiding citizens!” I expect that’s been the game plan from day one, but they’ve gone to so much trouble to try to keep from saying it out loud, and this story is almost forcing them to.

ICYMI: "DECENT?" No way: Biden tells "detestable lie" about Trump

By Mike Huckabee

"The idea that I’m gonna say --- which I would never do --- if an unaccompanied child ends up at the border, we’re just gonna let ‘em starve to death and stay on the other side, no previous administration did that, either. EXCEPT TRUMP [emphasis mine]. I’m not gonna do it.”

Ah, so President Trump left children to stay on the other side to “starve to death,” did he? That’s a lie, but c'mon man, it’s good old Uncle Joe talking here, our “decent” (his own word), moral President during his cringeworthy, totally orchestrated press conference on Thursday. Biden went on to say that Trump’s programs “have an incredibly negative impact on law –- international law, as well as on human dignity.”

He said, “Well, look, I guess I should be flattered people are coming because I’m the nice guy, that’s the reason why it’s happening, that I’m a decent man, or however it’s phrased...”

We’ll get to Biden's huge inaccuracies later, but first, I’d like to address Biden’s own record of decency and niceness, since he and his supporters talk about him so often in that light. I'm sure I speak for many who have had enough of this.

There’s an email going around about Biden’s role in the evacuation of Vietnam in 1975, when he was a freshman senator. Of course, with emails like this, it’s important to go back to the source material, if it’s cited, and determine the accuracy of the claims before just forwarding them. (That’s particularly true if they’re fundraising emails.) So that’s what my research staff did with this one.

It talks specifically about Biden’s opposition to a relief package to help in the humanitarian evacuation of Saigon (which did manage to save 1,500 South Vietnamese allies who, if they’d been left behind, would have been slaughtered along with thousands of others by the North Vietnamese). The claims are based on passages in the 2018 book WHEN THE CENTER HELD, by President Ford's Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

The email also says that Biden, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, “torpedoed any support” for these refugees once they came to America.

Checking Rumsfeld’s book, we found a passage about the effort by President Gerald Ford to protect the most vulnerable as Vietnam evolved from a military to a rescue operation. There were about 6,000 Americans still in and around Saigon, plus our South Vietnamese allies. “It was a race against the clock to save lives,” Rumsfeld wrote. “President Ford was committed to evacuating Americans" and also “the South Vietnamese who had assisted us and to whom the U.S. had ‘a moral commitment.’”

"Meeting with an influential group of senators,” Rumsfeld wrote, “Ford repeatedly tried to sway them with what he believed deeply was our country’s moral responsibility to help refugees fleeing persecution. Repeatedly, a number of Senate Democrats dissented, including the young outspoken Senator Joe Biden (D-DE).”

On page 163, Rumsfeld reprints his contemporaneous notes. “MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT, April 14, 1975: ...Senator Biden of Delaware then spoke up and got back again on the delays in getting Americans out. He also expressed hostility towards the idea of bringing out any South Vietnamese.”

So, our “Mr. Decent” when it comes to asylum-seekers was one of those who expressed “hostility” to the idea of welcoming South Vietnamese refugees who had helped us in the war?

Even, while rating the email claims as “mostly false” after giving Biden every conceivable benefit of the doubt, finds this TRUE: “Rumsfeld says in his book that then-President Gerald Ford tried to convince a number of senators to help refugees and claims Biden, along with other Democrats, 'dissented.' Biden did vote against sending financial assistance to the South Vietnamese government toward the end of the conflict. In the end, he did not block the admittance of refugees.”

Well, wasn't that nice of him? Actually, reading the entire fact-check gives the impression that Biden gummed up the works when he could have facilitated the government's assistance to asylum-seekers.

According to Rumsfeld, Biden “EXPRESSED HOSTILITY” to the idea of allowing the refugees, when time was of the essence. The aid package died on the House floor. Later on –- AFTER Saigon fell –- he apparently came around on the issue.

If it seems harsh to hold someone accountable for what he said in 1975, be assured that any conservative would be held to an even stricter standard. Biden apparently was not eager to welcome immigrants from South Vietnam who had helped us there, our allies who desperately needed political asylum and would otherwise be killed. How moral and decent.

Biden is not "nice." We could cite numerous other examples of Biden's lack of civility and common decency. Here's just one.

Of course, none of the reporters chosen to participate in Thursday’s press conference challenged President Biden's lies about Trump’s border policy. Stephen Miller tweeted out real-time about it, though: “Biden replied w/an asinine false choice. He explained that he was resettling minors in the US in lieu of ‘let[ting] them starve to death and stay on the other side’ (Mexico) which he accused Trump of doing. This is spectacularly false & a grave smear on our border agents.”

He described Trump’s real policy: “First off, illegal crossers returned to Mexico are transferred to migration authorities not the desert. But unaccompanied minors were returned to their ‘home countries’ to be reunited with their own families. They were not returned to Mexico unless Mexico was their home. This humane policy from President Trump brought unaccompanied minor numbers to record lows. Biden’s disastrous decision to exempt minors from Title 42 [which allows for expulsion], and to stop the at-home reunification process in favor of domestic resettlement single-handedly created this crisis.”

Miller later appeared on FOX NEWS PRIMETIME with Brian Kilmeade, saying, “What Joe Biden said at that press conference was a detestable lie," and also that it was their policy to "rescue unaccompanied minors and get them safely home."

He said that, for example, if a 16-year-old from Honduras came across unaccompanied, they’d be processed by Border Patrol, put on a chartered flight, “paid for by the U.S. government” and flown back to Honduras, where they’d be met by social services. Our own State Department would work to reunite that young person with family.

Biden’s administration –- “in writing,” Miller said –- terminated the reunification policy of the Trump administration to send unaccompanied minors home. Miller credited the record low numbers of unaccompanied minors in custody last year to Trump’s policy. Either Biden doesn’t know this, Miller said, or his staff is lying to him, “so he then can mislead the country.”

See the whole interview; Kilmeade and Miller also have a good discussion of voter ID as it relates to civil rights.

And since we think President Trump deserves the last word, here’s his response, from Thursday night’s INGRAHAM ANGLE.

A Reader Writes Back...

As always, I find both information and encouragement from your writings - thank you. Once again I have noticed the lack of commentary from your readers. I would like to offer the following which may be applied today - just as yesterday (from Acts 18:9-10 - ...Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city."...) Being silenced is not acceptable for any of us. Good day.

Thank you for your very informative newsletter. As a 74 year old great-grandmother, I am appalled at what is happening to our beloved America. But I can't get a concrete answer to a question that several of us "Seniors" are asking: What can we personally do to gain our country back? Just talking and reading about the horrible things that are being done in this present administration isn't working. What can I do specifically?

Mike, I’m waiting to see the “equality” of men and women! As a young kid I learned my brothers had “different plumbing” than me. I’m still waiting for a man to have a baby. They must be gaining... they are menustrating now I heard. Evolution must be taking a loooooooong time. God created male and female and that’s no joke, opinion or argument... IT’S FACT!!!

To say Biden is an odd duck is being nice. Joes actions on issues of all sorts tells me he just can not put himself on the side of what is good for most people or business. It is what ever is good for mankind biden will try and destroy it. The Catholic church has many pro life beliefs biden rips that apart the nation has become energy independent biden is trying to destroy that we have a Constitution that defined this country and he wants to destroy it. biden does embrace open borders the race track for killing drugs to come into the country with less trouble to get to the people, biden is allowing people that can not defend themselves to become employees of prostitution rings, drug runners, gangs that steal, murder, and assault this is why people come to America because biden is a nice guy he says that himself is this a person of a sound and decent mind????????????

There is a video that this old man received but do not know how to pass on except thru E-Mail its by Dr. Lee Merritt about the Charade that Masking up has caused. I catch flack all the time because my vocation for the last 20-30 years has been HVAC and my remark " Air is Stupid" because it takes the path of least resistance. If your staff is interested it's worth the Public being made aware of Real Science. Your Analysis of Biden is so spot on. The Legacy Media and the OLIGARCH Media, aka Twitter, FB, CNN, MSLSD are spinning like a 20,000 RPM Gyro to dress this farce up.

"The sins of the fathers will be passed down to the sons" We now see that as the Democrats have become the new Communist Party. A party based on racism and hatred of God and Christians.
They succeeded the Joe and his partners to make the Domino Theory become a reality. I served 1972 to1976. I saw on TV the fall of Saigon and the evacuation of our military and friendly South Vietnamese
Now they have opened the nation to its downfall to the " universal" laws of the UN, a CCP controlled group of criminal bations. Like rabid dogs they are waiting to take control and destroy all we hold dear and fought for!

I'm glad our governor Asa Hutchinson signed the Fairness in Women's Sports Act. It's a fairy tale that these laws will put transgender people "at risk". If their real issue was just about feeling safe, unisex bathrooms and showers could be installed wherever there are public facilities much like the ADA required handicapped access. No, this is about giving trans people special treatment and pushing their agenda down everyone's throats.

We often forward your articles and info and I know I don't have to fact check it like I do others. I forward not only whole articles to non subscribers which always contains subscription info, but also pass on brief knowledge, witticisms and the like that are already well used. President Joseph Biden is NOT a KIND OLD MAN. KIND OLD MAN does not put a huge group of union workers without a life. A KIND OLD MAN does not over run the border workers with those who wish to come into the United States with no plan. KIND OLD GRAND FATHERS do not support abortions especially who give themself the label of DEVOUT. DEVOUT my foot!

Regards to  "ICYMI: "DECENT?" No way: Biden tells "detestable lie" about Trump   1,500 South Vietnamese allies who, if they’d been left behind, would have been slaughtered "   I was recently in the hospital and the son of one these 1,500 allies who was of great help to me as a Medical Technician. When he found out about my military service we had many wonderful talks. His love for America and his patriotism and love for freedom was eye watering. He has the most incredible gratitude for the American Military who saved the lives of his family and friends.   The stories of the heroic help that his family gave to the Americans was awesome. Everyday they faced danger of being caught and assassinated by the communists. But they loved the hope of freedom more than they feared death itself. Heroes that when they made it here, became just ordinary citizens of The United States of America. They were sad that the struggle for freedom in Vietnam failed, but, joyful that they found freedom here.   They earned citizenship here in America. They didn't skip the line.

There is one more possible fact that transiently appeared and now has disappeared from the discussion of the tragic shootings in Boulder.
There was one report that the police were investigating a second person of interest. This of course needs to be vetted and verified and has not been repeated again by any news source.
Also of interest, Boulder officials have decided to withhold as much information as possible from the public so that I cannot be argued that the defendant deserves a change in venue for trial. Boulder officials want to be sure that the shooter gets the justice he deserves in Boulder for the sack of the victims and citizens of Boulder. Sounds like vigilantism to me, not a moral claim to justice.
Again, all these statements need to be fully verified and checked for complete accuracy.

At present the OSHA lifting weight limit for women is 35 pounds, and 50 for men. If women can do anything men can do (he's been watching Anne Get Your Gun), does Biden propose increasing the limit for women, or reducing it for men?

You have noted that even the Dem media is starting to mildly criticize the President. I believe that supports their agenda which is to make Harris President as soon as possible. Think of the opportunities for the press, first female President and Black , and a whole bunch of other things, to boot. They will make a meal of it. I truly believe this was the plan from the beginning. I don’t believe I am just seeing what I want to see when I say that one only has to look at the President’s eyes when there are closeups. He has that vague look often seen in those with the start of dementia. That fall up the plane stairs was not the wind. The wind, if that strong would have more likely thrown him down the stairs. That was a weakness or balance issue. Every President in my memory, and I am 80, has had a lot of spontaneous moments speaking off the cuff when going to and from planes and helicopters, etc. Know we have seen none. His handlers are scared to let him off the leash. The President has so many duties and so much on his, or her, plate that it requires enormous mental and physical acuity. Yes Roosevelt needed a wheelchair but it was only his legs and he managed to stand in braces in public. That took huge agility in other parts if the body, determination, and strength. The thing that scares me most is the contents of that little case in the hands of the military officer following the President around.

Every person dismissed from a job after political participation or voicing an opinion, should sue loudly and strongly. Every Congressional act passed that is viewed as unconstitutional should be challenged in court right up to SCOTUS. There is Socialist/Communist creep here and it’s getting bigger. Won’t have to worry about immigration soon, no one will want to come.

    Dear Nevada Congressional Members:

Re: I am Confused - Please Explain

I looked up the President’s Oath of Office and I must have missed something.

    Presidential Oath of Office

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I assume that means enforce all of the existing laws of the United States?

Where is the part that says unless you are condoning, aiding, and abetting un-vetted, without medical exam Aliens to illegally cross our borders? Particularly when these Illegal Aliens are to be released into our country so the American taxpayer can provide the basic necessities of food, clothing, shelter, medical care, as well as any incidental law enforcement they might cause.

In light of the current Pandemic and all of the restrictions placed on American citizens, I am having a hard time processing what I see. Help me understand! Forget the “we are saving the children nonsense” as it is a worn out excuse!
