Yahoo News recently revealed that the US Post Office was involved in monitoring, scanning and collecting information from Americans’ social media posts and passing anything it considers “inflammatory” on to other government agencies.  Now, the news outlet has a new report claiming that the Post Office’s covert domestic surveillance operation is “much broader in scope than previously known” and “includes analysts who assume fake identities online, use sophisticated intelligence tools, and employ facial recognition software.”

    What post office are these surveillance workers working from? How is an Inspector General not able to spot these illegal acts?

    I have worked over 40 years at the Post Office as a Letter Carrier… I would never spy on customers .. I actually could care less what they are doing because it’s not any of my business unless they involve me . I was a proud and professional Letter Carrier .

    If the USPS conducted surveillance as well as it delivers mail, the government is still waiting for the information.

    I worked for the Post Office for 34 years,saw some strange things and orders but never thought I would see something this strange.How dare they , where do they get off? Can`t get the mail delivered in a timely fashion but can find time to spy on American citizens.
