HAPPY EASTER

I hope you have a happy, safe and blessed Easter. It’s difficult not being able to go to church or gather with your extended family, but this, too, shall pass. In the meantime, you can participate in services online. If your own church isn’t streaming services online, here are some national choices.

And be sure to tune in Fox News on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. EST, when the Rev. Franklin Graham will team with Christian music star Michael W. Smith to share a special Easter message and some terrific music, live from Central Park in New York.

As a special Easter gift for those of you shut in at home, we have another brand new episode of “Huckabee” tonight on TBN! White House health official Seema Verna and Rep. Dan Crenshaw will give us the latest on Washington’s response to the COVID-19 virus. The Rev. Allen Jackson of TBN’s “Allen Jackson Ministries” will tell us about his new book. Cyntoia Brown will share her incredible story, from sex trafficking and a life sentence in prison at 16 to miraculous redemption and freedom. Add appearances by country superstars Big & Rich and Charlie Daniels, plus a few surprises. It’s TV worth being quarantined for!

It all starts tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and the same times on Sunday, only on TBN. To find where you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit https://www.tbn.org/huckabee and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top. You can also stream previous episodes, highlights and Internet-only “Digital Exclusives,” like extended interviews and extra performances by our musical and comedy guests. It’s all at https://www.tbn.org/huckabee

A Story of Bravery

As a lifelong devotee of the NASA space program, I must note that today marks the 50th anniversary of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission to stage the third lunar landing. When an oxygen tank exploded, the crew radioed those chilling, now famous words: “Houston, we have a problem.” The world held its breath and a likely tragedy turned into a story of triumphant American heroes as the astronauts and the NASA staffers back on Earth went to work to accomplish the seemingly impossible: bringing the space crew back down to Earth safe and sound. Despite the recordings in which they sound so cool and professional, Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell later admitted that they estimated their chances of survival at no more than 10 percent.

This is an extraordinary story of bravery under the most trying conditions, triumph over impossible odds and the nearly unlimited potential of the human mind.

DRIVE-IN CHURCHGOERS TICKETED

There’s a meme going around that reads, “How are you enjoying your 30-day free trial of socialism?” But I never thought that would be true in a place like Greenville, Mississippi.

Mississippi’s Governor encouraged churches not to hold services in person to combat the coronavirus, but he refused to ban them from doing so, saying, “Mississippi is not China, and never will be.” But someone needs to get that message to Greenville’s Democrat Mayor Errick Simmons, who not only ordered churches closed, he even banned drive-in services.

Last Sunday, members of Temple Baptist Church gathered in about 25 cars in the church parking lot to listen to pastor Arthur Scott preaching over the radio. Police came and handed $500 tickets to each driver, even though they were all inside separate closed cars. The only time they violated “social distancing” was when they had to roll down their windows to take the tickets from the cops.

Scott said police told him he might go to jail, and he said if that’s what it takes to keep preaching, he’ll gladly go to jail, and he will see them at the church next Sunday.

The religious freedom law firm First Liberty sent a letter to Simmons demanding that the ban be lifted, and stating that “religious liberty is not suspended during a pandemic” and Americans should not “tolerate churchgoers being ticketed by the police for following CDC guidelines at church.”

Once again, it’s very instructive to see how quickly tolerant, compassionate liberals turn into ironfisted authoritarians when given just a little power. It’s yet another reason why you should never believe the claim that socialism would work great, it’s just that the “right people” have never been in charge of it. If you even want to be in charge of a socialist government, then you’re the wrong people to be in charge of the government.

A SILVER LINING

If there’s any silver lining to this pandemic, it’s that a lot of people who had been brainwashed into thinking socialism could work just dandy if only the “right people” were in charge of all that government power over everything are getting a real-time lesson in how little power it takes to corrupt some people absolutely. Across the nation, we’re getting reports of authorities violating Americans’ Constitutional rights with heavy-handed enforcement of policies that have no bearing on the spread of the coronavirus. Like yesterday’s story from Greenville, Mississippi, about $500 citations being given to people who showed up for a drive-in church service, sitting in isolation inside their own cars.

It’s often been said that if you scratch a “progressive,” you’ll find an authoritarian underneath, and they’re certainly proving that they can never be trusted with any power above the level of dog catcher. Add to that list Kentucky’s Gov. Andy Beshear, who is getting his Stasi on by ordering local officials to record the license plates of anyone who attends a church service on Easter Sunday, so they can be forced into a 14-day quarantine. It apparently doesn’t matter how many precautions the people take to prevent the spread of the virus, Big Brother will be watching and punishing.

Not surprisingly, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was not pleased.

A reminder to the voters of Kentucky: Beshear was elected just last year when he defeated the Republican Governor by a margin of just 0.37%. I would hope that more than 0.37% of the voting public who didn’t vote in 2019 are now motivated to show up in the next election and let him know what they think about this.

COVID-19 NEWS

Here is full video of President Trump’s Friday briefing on the COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus. He said he is forming an “Opening our Country Council” to provide research and advice on the best time and ways to reopen the economy without causing a surge in infections. You can safely skip over CNN’s Jim Acosta, who seems to be on a mission to become even more annoying than the virus.

Mark Cuban said he’d be willing to volunteer for Trump’s task force on reopening the economy, and he offered some ideas for what he would want to see before it could happen.

And the IRS says that most Americans will receive their coronavirus rescue/stimulus checks by direct deposit by April 15th, which will make this the first time Americans have ever looked forward to April 15th.

Bible Verse of the Day (KJV)

"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."

I see this as a crucial year in God's timetable. It is starting to get nasty as the Marxists stopped the Marxists stopped the bill to help small businesses. The Church needs to step up. Many false teachers and prophets on Christian stations. They are misleading many believers. I'm my area some churches are helping out but mine doesn't bother to stay connected I grew in faith by keeping in contact with others. As a single male Christian have found the Church is not engaging in the spiritual battle. Yours is one of the better ones. I appreciate it. Are we headed for a repeat of the 1950's when university Marxist professors invited riots and such to topple the system?

What does America really need to avoid a Draconian, Orwellian, Government-Mandated, prolonged Socialist State for the next 18 months to 8 years (while Bill Gates feverishly tries to create a Panacea Vaccine for the masses)? How do We The People dislodge the CDC and Big Pharma from their Place of Princely Prominence?

We need Airline Pilots, Flight Attendants, Nail Salon Operators, Stand Up Comedians, Therapeutic Spa Clinicians, Dentists, Chiropractors and Office Workers to go back to the Office by May 1st! We want to shop at Kohl’s, Macy’s, JC Penneys and Target by June 1st at the Latest! We want to dine at Panera, Chick-Fil-A, Red Lobster and BW3’s now!

I loved Reacherfan’s comment featured in Gov. Mike Huckabee’s post of Fri., April 10, Morning Edition, Breaking: Great results with follow-up hydroxychloroquine study. I’m all for trying whatever works, and Reacherfan hit the nail on the head! No matter how much compliance the CDC gets for vaccines, there will be millions of People of Faith who cannot comply for concerned safety and religious freedom reasons. It’s about time the 1.1 million M.D.s Get With The Program and learn a Trick or Two from the 6,000 Naturopathic Doctors who have 300 plus hours of Nutrition Training!

Millions of Americans aren’t twiddling their thumbs waiting for a vaccine! Naturopathic doctors don’t prescribe vaccines, antibiotics, pharmaceutical drugs or synthetic vitamins. They do scientific blood testing and prescribe probiotics, Lauricidin, and organic mega-Vitamins and Minerals, and use a safe, healthy, inexpensive protocol that works quickly!

Doctors in New York are using Vitamin C IV Drips of 1,500 mg. three or four times per day with great success against the Coronavirus and getting patients off ventilators sooner! Hospital turns to high-dose vitamin C to fight Coronavirus. Is the Main Stream Media reporting that?

Dr. Linus Pauling said “Drugs are Dangerous, Vitamins are Safe,” in his book How to Live Longer and Feel Better. Linus Pauling was an American chemist, biochemist, chemical engineer, peace activist, author and educator. Pauling won the Nobel Peace Prize twice!

Steve Hickey, PhD, and Andrew W. Saul, PhD, shared in their book (pg. 106), Vitamin C: The Real Story, “At a sufficient intake, Vitamin C has antihistamine, antitoxin, antibiotic, and antiviral properties. It’s nature and safety does not change with the dose, but it’s power and effectiveness does.”

It’s all about the Immune System, folks. Give the Immune System what it needs and it will do it’s job, and all organs and cells will use the nutrition they need to get well on their own. Hint: Go to your local Health Food Store for organic food supplements. Find some organic produce, veggies, meat and baked goods while you’re there!

What have we got to lose? Remember the biblical story of Joshua and Caleb leaving the other 8 whining spies behind and going into the Promised Land? Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho and the Walls Came Tumbling Down! (See Joshua Chapter 6.) Our health truly is in our hands, so Own Your Health, People! Happy Easter, Everyone!

I really like your newsletters, BUT the "clickbait" like the Gilder book sales is terrible. I'm not complaining about the ads you have on the newsletter, those are ADS, and that's OK. You're going to lose me and maybe others that feel the same way if the "clickbait" continues.
