DAILY BIBLE VERSE

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Hate Show Update

Speaking of people who should’ve been prosecuted, the Capitol Police are reportedly furious with Biden’s DOJ for refusing to charge the members of Stephen Colbert’s staff who were arrested for unlawfully being inside a Capitol office building. Colbert dismissed the incident as a mere misunderstanding, but the Capitol Police released the details of the incident that show what a massive whitewash job this was.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/07/20/capitol-police-release-damning-facts-slam-doj-decision-to-not-charge-the-colbert-nine-n598358

As Bonchie reports at Redstate.com, contrary to Colbert and the DOJ, the CBS staffers were not invited into the building on January 16th (the major excuse the DOJ gave for not charging them.) Their scheduled meetings were on the 15th. They were specifically denied the credentials they requested but entered illegally anyway. “They were informed multiple times over multiple days via multiple incidents that they could not be in any of the Capitol buildings without a credentialed escort.” And “Ironically, it was a Democrat staffer who called the police on Colbert’s team because he was terrified by all the screaming and yelling going on.”

So, the Biden DOJ’s response to illegal entry of Capitol grounds and terrorizing Congressional staffers:

If you’re Republicans, “insurrection!” If you’re liberals, nothing to see here, sorry to inconvenience you.

Windbag power

Today, President Biden will be in Massachusetts to promote wind energy, and I’ll let you write your own joke about that.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/07/19/joe-biden-plans-massachusetts-trip-to-promote-executive-green-new-deal-after-climate-dreams-stall-in-congress/

I don’t like to write about stories that haven’t actually happened (one of the many things that makes this newsletter more reliable than CNN and the New York Times), but just to help people prepare for the worst, I should mention the latest rumor going around about what could be the next disastrous Biden energy policy move.

Frustrated that Sen. Joe Manchin won’t sign off on their budget-busting, economy-wrecking “Green New Deal” fantasies, Biden is reportedly considering pulling an Obama-like end-run around “our democracy” by declaring a “National Climate Emergency” and assuming sweeping powers to spend vast amounts of money and clamp down even harder on America’s oil, gas and coal industries. Naturally, the “our democracy” left is cheering for this autocratic power grab.

https://www.westernjournal.com/bidens-climate-envoy-grilled-using-private-jet-emits-hundreds-thousands-lbs-co2/

All of this would be devastating for the economy, not to mention the kind of thing that normally only happens in banana republics and dictatorships. As Nick Arama notes at the link, these emergency declarations are designed for real emergencies like wars, not because the Democrats couldn’t pass some pet agenda item.

Meanwhile, the people who keep telling us what an “emergency” the climate is don’t seem to know or care much about the things they keep scolding us about. For instance, “climate czar” John Kerry just jetted off to yet another “climate dialogue” confab, this time in Berlin, where he and other swells sip champagne and plot how to make all the rest of us live less free and enjoyable lives with tiny carbon footprints.

So Fox News did some calculating. They estimate that over the past 18 months, Kerry’s Gulfstream GIV-SP jet has carried him on 48 such “climate emergency” trips, totaling over 60 hours of flight time. It emitted 715,886 pounds, or 325 metric tons, of CO2. That’s more carbon emissions than the average US household emits in 40 years.

https://www.westernjournal.com/bidens-climate-envoy-grilled-using-private-jet-emits-hundreds-thousands-lbs-co2/

I’m hardly surprised to hear that John Kerry is a major emitter of hot gas, but even I didn’t realize how much of it he was spewing.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where he demonstrated both a cynical disregard for the pain Biden’s high gas prices are causing Americans and a stunning ignorance of his favorite topic, electric vehicles.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/pete-buttigieg-blasted-touting-benefit-electric-vehicle-owners-pain-high-gas-prices

Buttigieg wants to mandate that everyone buy an EV, a stance that’s been called delusional considering their high cost, the small number of charging stations and their unsuitability for many people’s jobs and lifestyles.

Republicans on the Committee grilled Buttigieg and made it obvious that he was in way over his head. At one point, he explained, "The more pain we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is for those who can access electric vehicles." Pressed on that, he backtracked, saying, “What we’re saying is we could have no pain at all by making EVs cheaper for everyone.”

But then Rep. Thomas Massie asked Buttigieg if he knew how much electricity it would take for an average family to charge an electric vehicle year ‘round. He did not, so Massie told him: it would take four times more electricity than the average family currently uses for air conditioning.

I’d add that in many places, thanks to unreliable green energy that this Administration is also pushing, people are being told to turn their A/C up or off because there’s not even enough electricity to run that.

This is what happens when you put important things like generating the gas and electric power that fuels our economy into the hands of people whose only experience is in amassing political power.

Democrats are okay with insults, as long as they are hurling them

Here’s yet another example of how any minority member who dares to leave the Democrat plantation and think independently will be smeared with the most vile, racist, sexist, anti-Semitic insults – and liberals seem to think that this is okay as long as they’re the ones doing it. Like the lowlife blogger hurling sexist and racist insults at newly-elected Hispanic GOP Rep. Mayra Flores, with funding from her Democrat opponent.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/07/19/vicente-gonzalez-funded-dem-blogger-wrote-of-gop-rep-flores-in-sexually-charged-manner-has-history-of-using-racial-slurs/

Fortunately, Rep. Flores has far more class than her sleazeball attackers, and she had a perfect response to the openly racist smears.

“Good guy with a gun” update

Details have been released on the “good guy with a gun” who stopped a mass shooter at a mall in Greenwood, Indiana.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-details-emerge-about-the-impressive-response-from-the-good-samaritan-who-stopped-mall-shooting

The shooter arrived armed with a Sig Sauer 400mm 5.56-caliber rifle, a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 5.56, a Glock 33 .357 pistol and 100 rounds of ammo. Eli Dicken, 22, was legally carrying a weapon under state law. He saw the attack and began firing from 30 yards away. He fired 10 shots and eight hit the shooter. That’s some very impressive shooting under intense pressure. Remember, one big argument of the left is that armed citizens will panic and just fire randomly. Also, contrary to earlier reports, two minutes did not elapse between the gunman’s first shot and Dicken’s first shot. Just 15 seconds passed between the gunman’s first shot and Dicken taking him out.

Compare that to the nearly 400 cops who stood around doing nothing for 80 minutes in Uvalde, and it’s no wonder that far more Americans said in a recent poll that they’d rather have an armed citizen nearby than the police if they got caught in a mass shooting situation.

“Oh, Shut Up!” Headline of the Day

“China Blames Systemic Racism For Uvalde Massacre.”

https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2022/07/19/china-blames-systemic-racism-for-uvalde-massacre/

In China, only some of the government’s massacres are due to systemic racism.

Attention, readers in Texas (and please share this news with all the other Texas voters you know)

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/george-soros-contributes-1-million-beto-orourkes-texas-gubernatorial-campaign

Socialist billionaire George Soros contributed $1 million to electing “Beto” O’Rourke as Governor of Texas. That’s part of “Beto’s” record-breaking $27.6 million fundraising haul, much of it pouring in from out of state, from leftists who want to do for the Lone Star State what all those Soros-funded DA’s have done for cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles.

You have been warned, Texans. Remember the Alamo!

The Alamo is sacred, but it doesn't define ALL of what is happening now--better to use the phrase--

I heard that John Deere has been trying to talk Farmers into going electric. I also heard that Farmers were advising that when harvest time comes around that their tractors and combines usually work 24/7 and they would not have time to go back to the farm and wait until the tractors and combines charged. They told John Deere that when their tractors and combines got low on fuel that a tanker would come to them in the field and fill them up.

Democrats may believe in “National Climate Emergency,” but none can identify what they are fighting other than Mother Nature. Some times they suggest methane or carbon dioxide are the culprits, but they are very small amounts compared to the REAL Greenhouse Gas - Water Vapor. Does this suggest Federal spending must buy dehumidifiers to combat climate change?

Upon looking up record high heat records for the U.S.A., I understand that most of the high recordings happened in the earlier 1900's. Yes, there have been a few broken records in more recent years, but not many. And, not many were more than a 1 degree or so. Once again, I don't trust what our government is telling us. They are trying to preach climate change to benefit their agenda. So sad.

I see the left working hard using scorched earth tactics. My state of Washington getting bluer than California. We need God's help to save what is left now that all major institutions are living a Marxist lie.
