BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

RIP Congressman Wright

By Mike Huckabee

I’m saddened to report that Texas Republican Rep. Ron Wright has died at 67. He was a member of the House Freedom Caucus and a staunch defender of the Constitution, individual freedom, election integrity and the lives of the unborn.

Less than three weeks ago, Wright announced that he’d been diagnosed with COVID-19. He and his wife were both admitted to the hospital in Dallas, where Ron died Sunday. He had also been battling lung cancer for several years.

All of us here extend our sympathies to his family and our prayers for them and for his wife Susan to make a complete recovery.

Words of encouragement

By Mike Huckabee

Donald Trump Jr. offered some words of encouragement to Trump supporters that “our amazing movement” of the people against the establishment and the elite is “not done yet.” He said he knows we’re up against a lot, but his dad is “still going to keep going.” He also had some comments about media double standards on “fact-checking” and Biden’s “China first, America last” policies.

Note also the quote from Trump campaign advisor Jody Miller that Trump “would be involved in the 2022 midterms with the immediate focus being to help Republicans win back both chambers of Congress.”

So for all the “I’ll form a third party/I’ll vote Democrat/I just won’t vote” commenters still angry over Trump’s loss, please note that if you really support Trump, what he wants you to do is get to work electing Republican majorities to the House and Senate in 2022. Keeping the Dems in power won’t help Trump, it won’t help you, and it sure as heck won’t help America.

Fact-checking during the Biden Administration

By Mike Huckabee

During the Trump Administration, so-called “fact-checkers” would use any difference of opinion, joke or exaggeration to scream “LIAR!!” Now that Biden is in, they seem to have decided that their function is to split more hairs than a broken comb.

Take a look at how far Politifact’s “fact-checker” had to bend over backwards to deny that Biden’s order on transgender rights in schools would allow males who “identify” as female to compete in girls’ sports.

Apparently, Biden must explicitly say that he’s ordering trans males to be allowed to compete in girls’ sports before anyone can say that will be the effect, even though the order itself states as its goal that “children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”

It was said that Trump supporters took him seriously but not literally, while his critics took him literally but not seriously. In the Biden era, “fact-checkers” who took every word Trump said literally are no longer even trying to be taken seriously.

Was Trump right about the border?

By Mike Huckabee

In a related story, Trump's critics and “fact-checkers” liked to call him a lying liar who lies when he claimed that there were terrorists and terrorist sympathizers among the waves of illegal immigrants streaming across our Southern border over the past decade. So journalist and former counterterrorism intelligence official Todd Bensman decided to examine the records and find out if Trump was right. As is often the case, turns out he was right and his critics were wrong. More details here.

In his new book, “America’s Covert Border War: The Untold Story of the Nation’s Battle to Prevent Jihadist Penetration,” Bensman reports that officials encountered 22,000 “special interest aliens,” the term for terrorist-related immigrants, between 2008 and 2019. A known 104 of them got across the border. That sounds like a small number, but recall that it took only 19 to pull off the 9/11 attacks.

All you suburban Never Trumpers who care so much about security still feeling good about that vote for Joe “Stop the Border Wall/Catch and Release” Biden?

New program needed

By Mike Huckabee

As Democrats prepare to “impeach” former President Trump on phony charges that he encouraged rioters, the hardest part for some may be repressing their natural urge to go back to encouraging rioters themselves. It’s been over a month now since they turned on a dime and started declaring rioting to be a bad thing, and some of them seem to be relapsing to their old habits. Maybe someone needs to create a 12-step program for them, like “Riot Supporters Anonymous.”

House Democrats move ahead

By Mike Huckabee

House Democrats are moving ahead with a coronavirus relief bill, but Republicans and some moderate Democrats are pushing for them to consider a radical new idea: sending money only to people who actually need it.

It also appears that the Dems’ push to include a $15-an-hour minimum wage raise in the COVID bill is dead, but President Biden says he hopes to see it passed as a stand-alone bill. He and the bill’s supporters claim it will not destroy low-skill jobs, but on that claim, they stand alone. A number of studies, as well as practical experience in cities that have tried it, show that raising the cost of labor above what the market will bear results in layoffs, small business closures and starter-level jobs being automated.

Now, add to those problems a new report by the Congressional Budget Office, which estimates that nearly doubling the minimum wage to $15 an hour would result in a net loss of about 1.4 million jobs over the next four years. It raises the cost of doing business, which is passed on to consumers as higher prices, which causes them to cut back, resulting in less revenue to businesses which have to cut staffs, creating a downward economic spiral.

But I’m sure all those people will be able to find high-paying new “green jobs.” Just don’t ask Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki when or where you might be able to apply for one of those.

MAGA doesn't incite hate

By Mike Huckabee

If you have an account with Amazon and/or Chase Bank, you might want to let them know that “Make America Great Again” is not a phrase that “incites hate,” and you don’t do business with companies that cut businesses off from financial services because they supported President Trump. Or they have a sense of humor. And by the way: Amazon cut this company off in 2019, so the “challenging the election/promoting riots” excuse doesn't apply.

I feel that this trial is a forest to keep Trump from running again for president anytime in the future. I also feel that it is a waste of time and money that should be used to vaccinate the public against the virus.

    Mike,
Is voting now dead? As long as the FBI and DOJ and Dems are protecting dominion voting machines, voting is dead in my opinion. We all KNOW the election fraud took place. The Supreme Court, FBI and DOJ just winked at it. Tell me I’m wrong, Governor! I really want to be wrong!!

I emailed Nevada's 2 senators before today's clown show started stating, in no uncertain terms. what I thought about them acting out against our constitution due to 4 years of unbridled hatred. Part Se. Rosen's reply is "Article II of the U.S. Constitution gives the U.S. House of Representatives the authority to issue articles of impeachment against the President if a majority of its members votes in favor of impeachment." She is apparently completely unaware that Trump is no longer the president. I felt it necessary to try to school her on articles I, V, VI, and IX so she could see what she missed. I didn't receive her reply (no surprise here) until after the vote today on the constitutionality of the "schiff show."

    Impeachment 2 trial outcomes:

    o Divide the nation
o Illegal since NOT in office
o For violence the Dems spewed day 1 since 2016 to date
    o TDS still active
o Make more hate for Dems along voters
    o Lose seats in 2022.
    o "joke".
    o Other issues Ignored
o X% 1-2% Want full on trial vs others inside Dem party
o Running for office NOT popular
    o Divide DC.
o Reign of Ruin from GOP who apply same to Dems
    o No Justice
& Once trial done, all said & done, then what?
o Only focus on 1-6 riot

By then Pres Trump is FULL Citizen.

Now that the congressional clown show is on full display for worldwide guffaws of derisive laughter, it can be only a matter of time until the Biden 3-ring circus tent collapses into the dirt.
