According to several media outlets (including – warning! – the New York Times, which has about as many reliable sources inside the Trump inner circle as I have WWE championship belts), President Trump plans to nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. I won’t say to fill the Ruth Bader Ginsburg seat because, despite what the Democrats seem to think, nobody owns those seats except the American people.

I have a long-standing policy that I don’t report on rumors from unnamed sources. News isn’t “news” around here until it’s actually news. The only real news at press time is that media outlets are claiming this will happen, so take it with a pinch of salt.

However, if Trump does choose Barrett, I think she will be an excellent choice. I also expect Democrats to unconscionably smear and slander her for her pro-life stance and Charismatic Catholic faith (while assuring Catholic voters that Joe Biden is a devout Catholic they can support, despite his backing for unfettered abortion.) I think the scorched earth approach they took to slandering Brett Kanvanugh may backfire bigly, particularly with suburban moms, considering Barrett is not only a brilliant jurist, attorney and former law professor, but the mother of seven children, including a special needs son and two black children adopted from Haiti. Sen. Diane Feinstein already tried attacking her religion during her confirmation hearing for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. It went over like a lead balloon and Barrett was confirmed 53-47.

Many people are talking about Joe Biden’s “home in bed by 9 a.m.” campaign, but there are also questions about why his running mate Kamala Harris is equally MIA. She hasn’t held a press conference since Biden picked her 45 days ago. Does she really need two months to “prepare for the debate” with Mike Pence?

But Harris did finally speak out in public this week. Americans' support of BLM is plummeting and polls show people are sick of violent rioters and bullying thugs masquerading as “peaceful protesters” and want more police to restore law and order. Even Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi finally felt forced to speak out against the lawlessness.

However, during an appearance at the NAACP’s national convention Thursday, Harris was effusive in her praise of Black Lives Matter and the ongoing protests. Harris praised the “brilliance” and “impact” of BLM, adding, "I actually believe that Black Lives Matter has been the most significant agent for change within the criminal justice system." She also hailed the protests as “an essential component of evolution in our country," declaring, “the people's voices must be heard, and it is often the people who must speak to get their government to do what it is supposed to do, but may not do naturally unless the people speak loudly -- and obviously peacefully." I'm sure the DNC was relieved that she tacked on that last part as an afterthought.

Maybe this will give a clue as to why the Democrats have been keeping her hidden and would rather have nobody speak for their ticket than her. She gives away what the real governing philosophy will be if they can just get enough voters to take in the Joe Biden Trojan Horse.

I don’t want to let this weekend without calling attention to this outrageous and under-reported story. I’m amazed it came from the New York Times, so credit is due.

So-called “peaceful protesters” invaded a quiet residential neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, and threatened a homeowner, demanding, “How dare you fly the American flag?” on his own property and ordering him to take it down. When he refused, they wouldn’t leave and threatened to come back and burn his house down. How "peaceful" of them.

That’s when some of the man’s neighbors stepped up, blocked the thugs and told them to leave. One of those neighbors is Terrance Moses, a black veteran who runs a non-profit that helps fellow veterans. He told the Times, “We don’t go around terrorizing folks to try and force them to do something they don’t want to do. I’m a veteran. I’m for these liberties.”

Those who defend the protesters always point to the First Amendment rights of free speech and peaceful assembly. But there’s nothing “peaceful” about threatening to burn someone’s house down for flying an American flag (if the SCOTUS can rule that burning a flag is free speech, then flying one certainly is.)

Once upon a time, when parents taught kids traditional values, they learned that their right to swing their fists ended at the other person’s nose. This is what you get when you combine liberal parenting, liberal schools and liberal government: a crop of young people who think they have a right to punch people in the face for exercising the First Amendment rights that they abuse for themselves.

First, President Trump helped convince the Big 10 to reverse themselves and agree to bring back college football this fall. Now the Pac-12 and Mountain West are coming back. In all, nine of the 10 FBS conferences now plan to have seasons completed by December 20th so that the championship teams and the teams for the holiday bowl games can be picked.

I’m glad to see college football coming back, both for the fans and for the players who were being denied a chance to hone their skills, show their stuff and possibly advance to the NFL. But speaking of the NFL, I do have some advice for all these college players: don’t go out on the field to virtue-signal your leftwing politics, show disrespect to America and imply that your fans are racists. Go out on the field and play football. If you’re going to be the future of the NFL, then make it better than the present NFL. Otherwise, by the time you get there, there might not be an NFL anymore.

I think it is time to institute the draft again, this time for everyone much like Israel does. And, make it so no one can get out of it, there is a job that everyone can do in the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Coast Guard or just plain public community service with mandatory reporting. Everyone who has never served should be called up. If they are too old, require them to join the reserves for an extended number of years, no voluntary opting out. When I went through basic some got out by feigning mental illness, unstableness. In the Viet Nam war some cut a toe off to get rejected. All that nonsense needs to be eliminated. Serve or lose your citizenship.

I believe that would instill national pride and definitely some discipline

Governor: You and Cissy Graham Lynch did a wonderful job on Saturday hosting Franklin Graham's Prayer March 2020 in Washington D.C. I watched the entire event and it was so inspiring, well planned and so much great prayer. The songs by John Rich all good but especially "Earth to God". Thanks for your time and all those who participated.

Someone should get Joe Biden -- a supposed Catholic -- to respond to Judge Amy Cony Barrett's nomination to the supreme court. I know he isn't the Catholic he says he is, but since he claims to be Catholic -- if he really believes in the Catholic faith he should support her. How can we be for a President who is Catholic and not for a supreme court judge who is Catholic. Someone needs to call him out on this -- What does he really believe. I am personally praying that he comes back to the faith whole heartidly and gives up on all the lies and hypocrisies he is pushing.

Thank you for hosting at prayer march with C. Graham. Beautiful, gentle, informative, and relaxing report. I want to pass on what my friend/next-door neighbor/'s daughter a real estate agent in Cambridge/Arlington and the immediate area adjacent to Boston, said: House sales are booming in this area with Chinese buying up homes, etc. in this area as never before, paying incredible prices!!!! Also, Dr. Shiva, and outsider, spoiler in the opinion of many conservatives, sent an email to say "the State of MA destroyed over 1 million ballots - all documented. Write in Dr. Shiva for US Senate." This is the race between Ed Markey and Rep. Kevin O'Connor. As before he wants to spoil our chance. We have no Rep Senator from MA yet. - and he is aiming to keep it that way as I (we) see it. Please pray for us to win disgruntled Joe. Kennedy's voters (who lost to Markey) over to the Rep. side. Thank you again - prayng for J. Barret to get aroved speedily. I signed your petition!

I don't know the best way to get this to the right people but I sure wish that President Trump would go on the offense on the virus and not be constantly defending his response to it. It would go somethings like this: Mr. Biden, you claim that you would do a better job managing the virus. Well, fortunately, we can see how you and Obama handled a virus in the past. Under your "management" of the H1N1 virus, over 60 million people in the U.S. contracted it. And this was a virus that is not as contagious as Covid-19. Just think, if H1N1had the same mortality rate as Covid-19, millions of Americans would have died. And, by the way, do we have an H1N1 vaccine yet? Nice job of managing a virus!

Thank you for the daily Scriptures! The Bible needs to be our systemic "pesticide" to protect us from the DIMS (pests) and their heresy (lies).

INDEED! For sure! Without a doubt!

And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32

I can't help but wonder if the reason that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are keeping a low profile, is that they know that the Dems have such a solid cheating plan in place, they are not concerned. Remember Hillary Clinton on 2016 was shocked, right along with the lying MSM, that she could lose. Are Republicans prepared to deal with the coming election fraud planned and plotted by the dispicable Democrats? We as Patriots, Republicans, Conservatives, Evangelicals, Veterans, etc. need to go on person on November 4th and try for a "red wave" or a landslide victory for Republicans!!

Thank you for your show. I do appreciate the news updates that are trustworthy. I do have ONE request however. For the sake of the television audience, Please ask the musicians to TURN OFF the music during all of the announcements because they drown out the announcer and also ask them to turn the volume down on their instruments when there is a singer or singers because they drown out the singers words and even the closed captioning device can't heard the words. Thanks. Shirley

Sorry to say, but I'm a bit disappointed in Huck and other Evangelical/Baptist groups for once again not getting behind an Evangelical or Baptist for the Supreme Court. As the late great Antonin Scalia mentioned back in 2016, it was wrong that Evangelicals make up about 20% of the population but don't have single member on the Court. We had three chances to get just one during Trump's first term and once again had no one from the Christian right, as some might call it, promoting anyone from that faith background to be nominated to the Court. We need to stop accepting the occassional scrap off the table like we seem to so often do.

I think the President's choice of Amy Coney Barrett is an excellent choice. I think they will unmercifully go after her, as they usually do with a conservative. I do think that they will have miscalculated their response if they go after her for being a woman and a mother; a mother of 2 black children and one with special needs. As for being a Catholic, I don't think they can yell too loudly about that as their nominee, Biden, is a Catholic (if in name only), as well as Speaker Pelosi. I would think it would be difficult to try and use that line. However, we all know that Democrats do not necessarily care about religion and are devout hypocrites.

The Dems took a wait and see with the Pelosi placate using Obama care act, as one example , to see what it will look like after they passed it, then read it; the Harris Biden campaign is doing the same thing let's elect them and then watch the country sink into the Abyss. Thats how the Dems roll they are like quick sand step on and watch yourself in a suffocating manner.

Could Oregon vote Trump in 2020? It’s a long shot but many Oregonians are tired of the pitiful leadership of the governor Kate Brown and Portland’s mayor, Ted Wheeler! Portland is the poster child for anarchy and disrespect to our great country!

Biden's handlers are doing the right thing keeping him hidden for many reasons Joe still thinks of himself as very important and powerful ;informed people know he's neither If someone would ask Joe what does transitional President mean the answer will expose him to the socialist movement, as a major part of, he already was on his way toward that while 2nd in command under Obama. The Hunter Biden's activity while his Father was the VP. So much to explain Joe would have to plead the 5th for most of his time in office. That's why he is being hidden I hope when this Trojan Horse exposes himself the voters will be ready at least 1/3 rd of them will be uniformed thats the real problem. They will NOT be able to identify joe Biden for what he is.

BLM! Yes, Blue, Black, Brown or even ALL except those that are still waiting on exiting the Birth Canal and breathing the air and drinking the Mother Milk that will Build their IMMUNE systems to be able to survive the NEVER ENDING Crisis that have been RECURRING since the existence of man.
Once again I'll mention that it might take 10 or even 20 years for Sanity to look back and wonder Who, What, When, and Where did America become educated beyond our supposed Intelligence to buy the entire Super Flu shutdown? The evidence is in the CDC's web pages, but being the first to say wearing a mask is the same as using a chain Link Fence to ward off mosquitoes. Then has Anyone Noticed that heart disease, Obesity, COPD, diabetes, Cancer Deaths have just VANISHED from the medias radar? Of course, Auto fatalities, suicides, and black on black murder seem to have become no longer important? Our Problem is ANYONE under age 50-60 has NEVER been subjected to HISTORY and it's lessons. Ask anyone about the FOOD Crisis or even the AIDs crisis and observe the Vacant stare you get... then mention why removing a statue of Lincoln is SO Important?

Hello Mr. Huckabee, we print your articles every night and thank you for keeping us so informed of things that are going on, and we also watch Fox news as well. I was watching your show tonight (9-26), too. I just don't see how the Democrats get away with all the things they are doing, and then turn around and blame Trump for all of it that they promoted because they see the polls are changing. Then the "fake news" backs them up on all of it, and the people that don't watch Fox or your program, or Watters World, etc., think that it is all true and go along with what they say, unbelievable.

Also, this is sort of off the subject, but I thought you could advise me about something that I get bombarded with everyday by text message, e-mail, and 5-8 pieces of regular mail everyday that are asking for money for the Trump campaign. I did get your letter and we sent in a $50 donation and I have sent money a couple of other times for the campaign as well. My husband and I are retired and we don't have money like they ask for support of the campaign. I saved on my phone just today, 10 text messages all asking for money. I have tried to reply and say that Trump definitely has our vote, but I cannot give anymore money, but they are totally ignored. It has gotten to the point that it is almost harassment! They say "you have failed us," "we have texted you 5 times,", "the democrats have outraised us by very large margins," and so on. Texting them back has not helped at all, and I don't understand why they think it benefits them to keep asking, asking, asking, time and time again. I understand that the Dems have big supporters like Soros, hollywood celebs, high profile sport figures, etc., but they make everyday individuals like us feel like we have to support them because of this, when there is no way that we can compete with that. I thought you might be able to give me some advice as to what I can do to stop this, and get a message to them that they are not helping by trying to make people feel guilty. Thank you.

Hopefully she won't become seduced by the Power available to her like Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and the Chief Justice seem to have been at least in part. Good Luck GuvMike, America and President Trump for the next 4 and a bit Years! Thank you GuvMike.

Here's the football matchup of the century

Notre Dame plays a team of the NFL--(I don't care who it is)--The officials for the game are NOT paid, they do it because they are football fans--
My guess is that the IRISH will trounce any nfl team(you know--the ones who 'take a knee' or otherwise disparage the US)--Team Spirit will overcome those who have no allegiance except the dollar.

First, I enjoy your news editions. Thank you for including a scripture verse at the end. Secondly, I saw a PBS documentary about an Australian Aborigine boy's struggle with the white culture & Aborigine. In the documentary were several protests with BLM front & center. Am I the only person who thought Black Lives Matter was only in the U.S.A.? Have you covered this?
