THE STAKES ARE CLEAR IN GEORGIA: SO GO VOTE
By Mike Huckabee
I’m hearing reports that some Republicans are so upset at Georgia Republican officials for not doing enough to block the vote certification that they plan to withhold their votes or even vote Democrat in the vitally-important run-offs in January (for his part, Gov. Kemp said he was legally required to certify the vote after all the counties signed off on it, but Trump now has his chance to challenge it.) Those races will determine whether the GOP keeps the Senate and acts as a brake on the ruinous policies of a potential Biden administration.
I like to think that no Republican would be foolish enough to seriously say such a thing. It sounds more like a head-fake campaign by leftists claiming to be Republicans. But just to make it clear, if you’ve ever heard the phrase, “Cutting off your nose to spite your face,” then letting the Democrats take those seats would be like cutting off your own head to spite your neck. President Trump agrees.
If you need any further proof, here’s some recently-surfaced video of Democrat Senate candidate Raphael Warnock, scoffing at Georgia’s Safe Carry Protection Act.
He also laughs at the very idea that people should be allowed to carry concealed weapons into churches, so they could stop any shooters who attack congregations – like hero Jack Wilson did in White Settlement, Texas, preventing a likely mass murder.
NOTES ON THE RISING REBELLION TO ENDLESS LOCKDOWNS
By Mike Huckabee
Update to our stories about the rising rebellion against endless government lockdowns:
In Staten Island, the co-owner of Mac’s Public House, the bar that declared itself a Seattle-style “autonomous zone” where no laws applied, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and hauled away in handcuffs for opening his business in defiance of COVID-19 restrictions. You know, like the radicals in Seattle weren't.
An angry crowd watching chanted, “Free (him) now,” yelled that they were going to defund the sheriff’s department, and cursed Gov. Cuomo and Mayor DeBlasio. It sounds as if even New Yorkers are getting fed up to the gills with having liberal politicians arrest people for trying to open their businesses while refusing to arrest people who loot businesses.
Meanwhile, in El Paso, Texas, the mayor said that before forcing small businesses to close and go bankrupt, “We did a deep dive in our contact tracing for the week of November the 10th through the 16th and found that 55% of the positives were coming from shopping at large retailers, what we’d term as the big box stores. And those are considered essential under CISA guidelines under homeland security. And we don’t really have, I don’t have any control over any limitations there.”
The city asked large retailers to impose voluntary limitations on occupancy, and Walmart is complying. I’d be interested to know if national and some state leaders would do the same thing, and stop forcing restaurants and bars to close, even when their own contact tracing shows they are not major spreaders.
I wonder, if big retailers with lots of lobbyists and political donations started facing restrictions while small businesses stayed open, how much longer would politicians insist that lockdowns are necessary?
Incidentally, I don’t necessarily endorse this personally, but science blogger Robert Zimmerman has a theory about why big box stores may be major spread sites: because they force everyone to wear masks. He says that with the exception of medical professionals, everyone is wearing their masks wrong, which puts contaminated surfaces right in your face and increases the spread of the virus rather than decreasing it.
If that sounds like an overstatement, take a look at the chart he reproduces from the WHO on proper use of masks and be honest: how many people do you think are really following every one of those “Do’s” and “Don’t’s?”

Twitter bans or slaps disclaimers that “this claim is disputed” on every Trump tweet or virtually any tweet that mentions vote fraud or expresses a non-leftist opinion. But what’s okay with their “algorithm?”
How about a communist Chinese government official’s tweet of an obviously doctored photo of an Australian soldier about to behead a small child in Afghanistan? That apparently seems believable enough to Twitter to escape any warning labels. Did NOBODY “dispute” this?
Even if I were inclined to believe that photo was real (I’m not), the comment with it should be a dead giveaway: “Shocked by murder of Afghan civilians & prisoners by Australian soldiers. We strongly condemn such acts, & call for holding them accountable.”
So we're expected to believe the Chinese government is shocked by the murder of Muslim civilians and calls for holding such killers accountable? I strongly dispute that claim!
JOKE OF THE DAY
By Mike Huckabee
New York Times “economist” Paul Krugman wrote a column about what a huge challenge a President Biden would face, because “he’ll be the first modern U.S. president trying to govern in the face of an opposition that refuses to accept his legitimacy. And no, Democrats never said Donald Trump was illegitimate, just that he was incompetent and dangerous.”
Check out the link where Sister Toldjah at Redstate.com reminds us that not only have we been through four years of relentless “Not my President!” and "Russia rigged the election" claims...and not only did many leading Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, John Lewis, Maxine Waters, Jimmy Carter and even Biden himself, call Trump’s presidency “illegitimate”…but this article contains a long list of times when Krugman himself called Trump an illegitimate President.
The backlash to Krugman’s willfully obtuse comment was so harsh, the Times quietly edited the article to fudge the jaw-dropping quote, but even in edited form, it’s still laughably false:
“And no, Democrats by and large were not claiming Donald Trump was illegitimate…”
Yes, they were, by and large. Some of them did it 24/7. Since Krugman is a regular there, you’d think he would have heard of CNN.

CNN is in full sputtering indignation mode and threatening legal action against James O’Keefe for recording and releasing their biased news-shaping conference calls. Here’s a reminder that only two months ago, CNN thought that releasing secret recordings of private conversations by a former friend who betrayed Melania Trump’s trust was legitimate journalism.
