Roe update

Watch outgoing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki not only NOT condemn the protests outside SCOTUS Justices homes but state that they’ve been “peaceful to date, and we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes. And that’s the President’s position.”

So the President’s position is that he encourages threatening mobs to continue to violate both state and federal law (such protests outside judge’s private homes can result in a year in prison on the federal level alone)?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also encouraged the protesters to march and show their “righteous anger.”

The Dems don’t seem to realize that when you build a Frankenstein’s monster and rile it up, you can’t control it, and it will eventually turn on you. In this case, it’s already happening. Rabid (and I suspect that may be literally true) pro-abortion protesters are now targeting Nancy Pelosi’s house in San Francisco. They accuse her and other Democrats of being “complicit” in the overturning of Roe v. Wade by not passing a national pro-abortion law when they had a supermajority in the Senate.

If you think I’m being partisan or hyperbolic when I say these people are so radical they’re unhinged, then click on that link and read the evidence in their own words. This is not the old “safe, legal and rare” pro-abortion crowd. These are nutjobs who revel in the grisly act of abortion. They scorn the very idea of saying you want abortions to be rare. Sample protester quote:

"Hillary Clinton, who started the whole thing like abortion should be legal, but rare, as if abortion is a tragedy. We are here to say abortion is a basic right, a basic human right, and without this right, women are basically enslaved.” She said they want "abortion on demand and without apology… legal and accessible, not rare.” She called overturning Roe a "blatant war on women, and other trans-uterus-bearing individuals." (Trans-lation: “women.”)

These sick, ranting lunatics are now outside Nancy Pelosi’s house with bullhorns. The only upside is that as we’ve learned from experience, Democrats only find angry, violent mobs politically useful until they turn and start targeting Democrats. That’s when law and order tends to make a swift comeback.

The new WH Press Secretary thinks I am a racist…

Last night, Tucker Carlson put together a long, looooong list of people and things that incoming White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has publicly declared to be racist. A small sampling:

Fox News is racist (partly because they called COVID 19 the Wuhan virus, just like CNN and MSNBC used to when they were telling the truth about it); voter ID laws (supported by 69% of black voters and 75% of Hispanic voters) are racist; Brexit (the movement among Britons to leave the European Union) is racist; Republicans who criticized white Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam for being photographed in a KKK outfit are racist for some reason; and most surprising to me, as Tucker put it, “Mike Huckabee. He seems nice…but he’s RAAACIST!!”

This sort of kneejerk accusation of racism appears to be a habit with Ms. Jean-Pierre (she also seems to be, by the Democrats’ own definition, a conspiracy theorist, disinformation peddler and insurrectionist.)

Just as our new Disinformation Czarina likes to sing the score from “Mary Poppins,” I can imagine her warbling the “Avenue Q” ditty, “Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist.” Only in this White House, it wouldn’t be a solo number, it would be a chorus.

Still, I never imagined when I was a young pastor risking a job I desperately needed by telling my church’s biggest donors that they could find another church if they didn’t like me welcoming black people to our congregation that one day, the official spokesperson for the White House would declare me to be a racist. Believe me, after decades of preaching that racism is a deplorable sin against God, in whose image we are all made, it was as big a shock to me as it was to you to discover what a big racist I am.

But then, you have to understand that, like people who refer to every political opponent as a Nazi or “literally Hitler,” the left has shamefully devalued the word “racist” by applying it to everyone they disagree with. This practice is disgusting because there are some words that should retain their powerful, odious meanings and be used only when truly justified. For instance, I don’t go around calling everyone on the left a “communist,” even though the term fits some of them so well that they proudly adopt it themselves.

Sadly, in political circles, toxic words like “racist” (and the rest of the Modern Dem Quartet: “sexist,” “homophobe” and “transphobe”) have become empty syllables to be thrown like custard pies at anyone you want to humiliate in public. I suppose I should consider it a weird kind of reverse honor, like this Administration’s version of a Presidential medal. It means I’m making arguments that they consider to be a threat to their power, but they have no rational or evidence-based response, so they try to hang the “Racist” medal around my neck to prevent people from listening.

No, thanks. I revile the word and reject the allegation, but I do appreciate your acknowledgement of my effectiveness.

As we were going to press, the Epoch Times released a subscriber-only report on some newly-released notes from a 2017 meeting of top DOJ and FBI officials.

The notes are part of documents filed in the trial of Hillary Clinton lawyer Michael Sussman. At the time, President Trump had just tweeted that Obama had wire-tapped Trump Tower. The notes suggest that FBI officials panicked over how much Trump might know about their efforts to tie him to Russian collusion allegations they knew were false, and wanted to cover their tracks. One of the participants was then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, later sold to Americans as a heroic symbol of truth and integrity by academia and liberal news networks. Reminder: under a settlement of his “wrongful termination” lawsuit, we taxpayers got the tab for his benefits, pension and legal fees.

We’ll dig into this deeper and have a more thorough report on it tomorrow. I assume we will not be reporting anything that really surprises us.

Musk says he will lift the Trump Twitter ban

Elon Musk said Tuesday that Twitter’s permanent ban on former President Trump would be lifted after Musk takes over. He went even further, calling the ban “morally wrong” and “flat-out stupid” (wow, freely speaking the truth IS making a comeback!) Musk said banning Trump from Twitter only amplified his voice among the right and alienated a large part of the country. He added, “Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots or spam, scam accounts.”

I might add that if Twitter is going to ban real people, the Iranian Mullahs and various terrorist leaders and despots might be more worthy than former US Presidents whose policies Silicon Valley leftists disagree with.

Interestingly, former Twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey tweeted agreement with Musk, calling the Trump ban a “business decision” that “shouldn’t have been.” Dorsey called permanent bans of individuals a “failure” that don’t work and “directionally wrong,” except for rare exceptions like child sexual exploitation, illegal behavior or spamming.

As to whether Trump will return to Twitter: he’s said that he won’t, and he now has his own site to promote, Truth Social. On the other hand, Twitter has the biggest reach if he wants to run again, and it might be hard to resist the lure of a “triumphant return” story. Stay tuned.

Attention, Government Disinformation Police!

No, contrary to the nonsense being spread by the left on social media, Justice Amy Coney Barrett never used the phrase “domestic supply of infants” to justify forcing women to give birth to meet the demand for adoptions. She said no such thing, and the “domestic supply of infants” quote is from the CDC.

It was a lie about a conservative that was so egregiously wrong that even the A.P. reluctantly “fact-checked” and debunked it. You could tell their hearts weren’t in it, though, from the headline: “Posts misattribute CDC quote in Supreme Court draft on abortion.” Might be nice if, when you’re correcting slander against a public official, you actually mention the victim’s name.

SI Swimsuit Issue update

Some men look forward all year to receiving Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue because they just can’t get enough of its relentless social justice messaging. That is why men buy it, right? The publisher had better hope so, because that’s what they’re using to sell it now.

    Gov. Huckabee,
Regarding the 1973 decision Roe v. Wade: the justices must have not seen the April 30, 1965, issue of Life Magazine ~ cover story. I remember it vividly ~ I was nearly 13 at the time, and it made a HUGE impression on me. Maybe a legal clerk could have found the article and made for more discussion among the justices? God always has a plan, for His glory and our good.

sII is it still being printed? I do remember when I bought the yearly subscription however it has been at least 10 years since I even looked at the magazine. Sports have been a big issue for me at the major league level I liked going to the ballparks and some arenas, today I wouldn’t visit if the tickets were free for various reasons mostly because of the political stances the teams have taken. Today society exposés so many beautiful women the swim suit issue has become muted sports and political agendas do not mix and for myself it might as well become extinct when amateur sports become political venues I will turn to bird watching

The WH Press Sect. has been a waste of time and resources with Psaki and the Obama era Press Sect. any clear minded person should understand the program is nothing more than propaganda and slanted. Just the same template that communist regimes and dictatorships use to inform it citizens. Many answers given are talking points that do not relate to the questions that are asked. Questions that are rehearsed and answers that are prewritten as to fit and defend irrational policies. When Psaki entered the Press room Honesty was locked out behind her, vague and dishonesty and made up answers were locked in. Most clear minded people would listen for a few moments and quickly understood they were being insulted and ridiculed by Psaki why be a part of a corrupt media demo. clear minded people have better ways to spend their time.

Of course you are a racist. You’re a conservative, right? These people have no idea who is a racist and who is not. They have no idea of what us in your heart or mine. But they are the judges, the experts, the elite. Part of racism is setting people apart because they are of another color or culture. That can be for bad treatment or for “good” treatment. I don’t currently know a conservative who wants to treat people of color differently, or badly. I do know of those who want to “ help” them, because they are obviously to ignorant to help themselves. I know a lot of people who think it’s great to turn young children against each other by putting down white children and making children of color feel like victims who by accident if birth are doomed to fail. It appears people of color are beginning to catch on. Contrary to the beliefs of leftists, they are not stupid or not capable.

The lesson we take from the leftists is that it’s okay to break the law as long as it is for a good cause. Good being defined by them. That’s what leads to weakness and destruction of a society.

We have no business having SCOTUS if they are susceptible to intimidation. I suspect it may work the opposite way.

I'd be curious to see what police and the DOJ would do if peaceful pro life demonstrators showed to the pro abortion Justices homes to try and change their minds. Hmmm
