On Tuesday, the offensive individual who currently occupies the White House gave such a nasty, dishonest and divisive speech about so-called "voting rights" that our commentary turned out to be part of a huge and richly-deserved backlash.

On Wednesday, Sen. Mitch McConnell said that while he has "known, liked and respected" Biden for many years, he "did not recognize "the man at the podium yesterday." Here are Sen. McConnell's remarks from the Senate floor --- highly recommended reading.

We're mystified as to what it was in past years that caused Sen. McConnell to respect him, as Biden has been telling lies for a very long time, but whatever it was, it appears to be over now.

"The President did not get a mandate to transform America or reshape society," McConnell said. "But he did arguably get a mandate to do just one central thing that he campaigned on. Here's what that was: bridge a divided country, lower the temperature, dial down the perpetual air of crisis in politics...It is the one job citizens actually hired him to do."

McConnell is right --- Biden was presented during the 2020 campaign as the amiable, low-key personality who would calm things down and bring us together. That "unifying" persona was marketed to America like a box of bland, comforting cereal, and unfortunately a lot of Americans bought it. It's undoubtedly the main reason Biden got the support that he did. But in just one year, especially with his vile race-baiting rhetoric, he has "fundamentally transformed" that fake persona he was using and given us a look at who he really is. It's not pretty.

I always said Biden was senile, But after his Georgia speech I not only think he is senile, but consider him to be a complete idiot as well. He doesn't qualify for the tor the term "dementia". He qualifies for the term "insanity and "idiot".

The man who is in the white house now is a disgrace to our country, and should be tried for treason by the existing military {since he is the head of the military} and either shot or sent to prison for the rest of his miserable life.
I am a veteran of Korea (1950), and what he is espousing is not what I and millions of veterans fought for in the Second World War,Korea, Viet Nam or any other conflict. Socialism, Communism or whatever one wants to call it has already been proven throughout history to be a complete failure. But some people think they can make it work, if they or their organizations promote.
You an be an born an idiot, or you can join the Progressives Democrats and be designated as one.

God is allowing us to see how corrupt our politicians are and it's not all on the left. Many people are praying for a change that will bring God back into the Capitol of the United States.

Can hardly wait for his State of the Union Address. If his anger gets triggered, he'll sound like he's channeling Adolph Hitler. I'll be watching HGTV that night......

"Sen. Mitch McConnell said that while he has "known, liked and respected" Biden for many years."

This is why the right loses. We are unable to call a spade a spade. Biden has has always been unlikable and unworthy of respect That our leaders, steeped in the D.C. swamp gas of relativism, cannot tell the truth, or worse, cannot discern it, has led us to where we are now.

George Soros and Obama are destroying America. biden is merely their puppet. Soros and Obama need to be expelled from this country. Then we will return to greatness.

    Dear Governor Huckabee,
My answer to your question about Mitch liking Joe is simply this: quoting from two great American women, (Diamond and Silk), both are of the same "corrupt dirty bird with a corrupt right wing and a corrupt left wing". Both of these men have bathed in the cesspool of Capital Hill for decades, that the toxicity of the environment there has clouded Mitch's ability to find his moral compass, let alone be able to read it.

Dear Mr. Huckabee, I am very concerned about our Country. How long can we go on with this rhetoric? Why won't the more conservative/moderate Democrats speak out against the liberals? I would believe their constituents have to be concerned as well. As for "President" Biden, I am appalled at what is coming out of his mouth. What kind of president does this, says this to the citizens of his country? Who is writing these kinds of speeches for him? Is there no one in the Democratic party who can see what this is doing to our Country? The only thing I can do is vote to try to get people in position to stop this Nonsense! We need people in the Republican party, in both parties, to step up to thwart this Crap! Not just talk, some substantive action! I know their position is tenuous at best because of the numbers in the House and the Senate, but come on! They need to be more aggressive regarding doing the right things for this Country, Our Country! Look at DeSantis in Florida, Abbot in Texas and others. They are standing up to the federal government and trying to take action to protect their states. Maybe others are doing it more quietly, but...? Thanks for letting me spout off about this. Please share this if you think it will help. Sincerely, Ruth J Kary

Mike….Biden’s comments last Tuesday were indeed, nasty to the nth degree. And his rhetoric is why informed voters no longer trust what political candidates say when running for Congress. Good examples are Dr. Oz who is running in Pennsylvania and Dan Crenshaw who was elected in Texas. They are both died-in-the-wool RINOs but their stump speeches give no hint. That’s why voters must do research!! Seriously, let’s be real about Biden. He was not truly elected by We the People but by a stuffed ballot box. Democrats have election cheating down to a science. LBJ was a pro in Texas. The words voiced by Biden are from Obama, Rice, and Jarrett. He is simply the vessel spewing them. God help the USA!!
