Mistake after mistake at NYT

April 30, 2019

Didn’t like the offensive cartoon the New York Times ran about Benjamin Netanyahu, then yanked but didn’t apologize for, then finally said they were sorry about promoting anti-Semitism?  Never fear: the editors had another one on deck as a back-up.

But we wouldn’t want you to think that the esteemed Times editors are just harboring private feelings of anti-Semitism.  They’re also worried about all this desegregation they’re hearing about down South.

PJ Media’s Richard Fernandez considered how the Times editors gradually allowed themselves to become that which they claim to hate, apparently without even realizing it.  I’d say it all starts with a word you don’t hear much these days, but you see a lot of what it stands for: hubris.
