I hope you have a safe, fun Labor Day weekend! And we have an extra-special episode of “Huckabee” tonight on TBN to kick it off! I’ll start with more from my new book, now available at Amazon, “The Three C’s That Made America Great: Christianity, Capitalism and the Constitution.” Tonight, we’ll look at Capitalism. Spoiler alert: I like capitalism, so buy my book! I’ll also talk about the left’s campaign to destroy America with Ben Shapiro. You’ll meet a Huck’s Hero chef who’s fed nearly 2 million victims of natural disasters. Then get ready to laugh with one of America’s favorite comics, the hilarious Jeff Allen. And brace yourself for a very special musical guest, the legendary Mr. “American Pie” himself, Don McLean!

Now, THAT’s a show! The show runs Sat 8/11 ET 7/10 CT but on Sunday just runs 9 ET/ 8CT; also on FB, YouTube, and a tbn.tv and huckabee.tv in addition to all broadcast, cable, Satellite, etc. To find where you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit https://www.tbn.org/huckabee and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top. HEADLINES

Here are some headlines that should have led the news on Friday:

In August, the US economy created 1.4 million new jobs and unemployment took a steep 2% drop to 8.4%, the first time it’s fallen below 10% since the economy was shut down to deal with the Chinese virus.

The White House announced a new peace agreement between Serbia and Kosovo that not only normalizes relations between those two, it includes Kosovo recognizing Israel and Serbia moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, something that would have been unthinkable a few years ago, until President Trump demonstrated what real leadership and keeping our promises looked like.

Ric Grenell held a press briefing on the deal and was so appalled by the dumb, politically-oriented questions that he laid into the reporters for their youth and ignorance and said he wasn’t sure they could even find Serbia and Kosovo on a map. It was epic.

Also, President Trump is back to his pre-coronavirus approval rating of 52%.

And yet, none of those major stories were what the media were talking about (well, they talked about them a little, because they had to try to find ways to convince us that massive job creation is a bad thing, like this headline from Yahoo: “Why 1.4 million jobs created in August really isn't great news.”)

No, the really important, everything-else-takes-a-back-seat story was a claim that during a trip to Europe two years ago, President Trump made disparaging remarks about the World War I soldiers in a cemetery in France. This came from the Atlantic, a magazine majority-owned by a Biden megadonor (coincidentally, the Biden campaign had an ad using it already produced within hours, almost as if there were some sort of collusion or something), and was based on four alleged anonymous sources.

President Trump immediately denounced it as offensive fake news, and already, 10 people who were on the trip and with him at the time, including my own daughter Sarah and my former campaign aide Hogan Gidley, have denounced it as total garbage. Records also disproved the article’s false claim that Trump’s trip to the cemetery wasn’t really canceled due to bad weather. Even John Bolton, who was there, admitted that he’d heard Trump say no such thing. He told Fox News’ John Roberts that if Trump had said that, there would have been an entire chapter about it in his book.

So we’re supposed to believe an outrageous, totally out-of-character quote based on anonymous sources that are contradicted by multiple on-the-record sources – all from the same media that have proven over and over again (the “very fine people” hoax, the “all immigrants are animals” lie, etc.) that they can’t even get a quote from Trump right when he says it on videotape.

And that pile of bull manure was considered the most important news from Friday, not the peace agreement that will help keep our young people alive or the great jobs news. And the media wonder why Trump calls them “the enemy of the people.”

Meanwhile, on the Democrat side, Joe Biden once again demonstrated his unfitness for the office of President by declaring that “if true,” this disqualifies Trump from being Commander-in-Chief. This has become a pattern for Biden: taking something widely discredited, waving it around as if it's an unassailable fact, and using it to declare someone guilty. I would say that his utter disregard for due process and finding out whether an accusation is true before punishing someone disqualifies him for the job of Chief Executive of the nation with a sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution.

This is hardly the first time he’s done this. Remember during the Convention, when the press was giving him tongue baths for actually getting all the way through his speech without calling anyone a dog-faced pony soldier? Scott Adams posted a much-talked-about rant blasting Biden for claiming that he decided to run when he heard Trump say there were “very fine people” among the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. Not only did Trump never say that, but it’s been widely debunked, even by liberal “fact-checkers.” It’s a scurrilous lie designed purely to slander the President and sow racial distrust, and yet Joe Biden openly and deliberately repeated it, and even cited it as the inspiration for his campaign. He is literally running on a scurrilous lie.

And all while trying to make the case that we should vote for him to restore "decency" to the White House.

I tried yesterday to do what Democrats claim they do and “take the high road.” I had a sleazy accusation against Joe Biden, and I chose not to give details about it. This is my standard operating procedure: I have long defended the presumption of innocence for people on both sides of the aisle, even when that was a very unpopular thing to do. But I feel that if "accusation=guilt" is the standard that Biden himself is going to apply to his opponent, then he should have to live by it, too. So here's that story, just FYI.

And a few reminders that, unlike the claim that Trump insulted our war dead, this is hardly out of character for Joe “Mr. Decency” Biden.

THREE CHEERS

Three cheers for the group of black clergy who have joined together to stand up against the NBA and major corporations for showering money on BLM (an openly anti-American, anti-family, pro-Marxist group that as they say, has “"possibly [set] back racial relations for decades") while they remain silent on Chinese human rights abuses and profit off Chinese slave labor.

In a letter to the CEO of Nike, the Conservative Clergy of Color called on Nike to cut ties with BLM and China, writing, "You have been happy to play into the hands of anarchists at home and ignore slavery abroad. As leaders in the church, we can abide neither." While acknowledging that some BLM supporters have legitimate concerns, they said the group itself is a violent, radical organization that’s sowing the flames of discord and encouraging the looting of small businesses that are the backbone of our country.

I am proud to stand with these black church leaders as they bravely remind us that simply because an organization adopts an undeniable truth like “black lives matter” for its name, that doesn’t mean it is an unassailable fount of truth that can’t be challenged. To point out the ugly truth about the people behind “Black Lives Matter” does not mean you don’t believe black lives matter, and it’s great to see black church leaders standing up to them and their big media and corporate bodyguards and speaking truth to power.

NOT EVERYONE AGREES BACK AT HOME NANCY

It appears that not everyone in Nancy Pelosi’s neglected home district agrees with her that she’s owed an apology for being caught breaking the rules that she imposes on everyone else. A large group of them who have been blocked from going to hair salons just made that clear.

Here’s an excerpt that I bet makes you want to read the entire story: “’Protesters have gathered in front of Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home and are stringing up curlers and blow dryers on a tree after a video surfaced of Pelosi getting her hair done indoors/maskless at a SF salon…’ Video shared by the reporter shows women hanging hair dryers and an American flag from a tree on the property and calling it the ‘Freedom Tree.’”

This could mark the first time that the Tree of Freedom has been watered with the herbal rinse of a tyrant.

SAFE TO GO TO THE POLLS

If you wonder why I was one of the few people in 2016 who correctly and confidently predicted Trump’s win weeks in advance, one reason is that I didn’t take the polls at face value. I looked into the internals and compared the sample of Democrats to Republicans to the actual registration numbers. Most of the pro-Hillary polls were wildly oversampling Democrats.

As you can see at the link, not much has changed in this cycle. So don’t let the polls showing Biden in the lead discourage you; that’s exactly what they’re designed to do. But don’t let the idea that they’re phony make you complacent. We’ll need a landslide win to overcome the already-admitted margin of fraud. And vote in person, not by mail: do not trust whoever might handle your ballot between you and its destination to get it there and in its original form.

Remember, no matter what the Democrats say, if it’s safe to attend a riot, it’s safe to go to the polls.

Why don't mail in voters have to have their ballots postmarked and delivered prior to the election. If they show up on "in person vote list", they don't count because " in person" has to show ID.

Governor, I wish I could vote in person. But here, in the democratic strong held state of Washington with our ever so "wonderful" governor, we vote by mail. However, I choose to use the drop box located at the county annex on the island I live on and drop my ballot off there. No guarantees it won't be falsified or mysteriously disappear, but it is the only way it makes sense to me. I can, however, go online to see if the state shows that I voted in the election. Believe me when I say, if that doesn't show up someone will hear from me for sure. The other option is to re-register as a democrat and then vote for President Trump and a republican runner to replace the dirt bag in our governor office. But I will choke for sure, as a democrat!

Hello Mike, I have a good idea, and decided one of my favorite conservative friends would have the ability to pass it on. If and when any of these rioters are rounded up, I have the perfect sentence for them. The rioters will be part of a chain gang that works 10-12 hr. days, 6 days a week in cleaning, repairing, building, sanding, painting, etc. the businesses they have damaged or destroyed. On Sunday they can go to a worship service and then work the soup kitchens feeding the people whose businesses they have ruined. Their sentence is complete as soon as their mess is cleaned up. It may take months or years! They can reduce their sentence by turning in their partners in crime. Many hands make light the work! Blessings!

I've thought a lot about the cheating the Dems will do to make sure they take the white house. I think a good way to stop them from finding all kids of votes after election night is to make it known that any votes not counted on election night will not be valid. That would mean that mail in voters would have to have their votes [post marked several days before election night to be counted. In the election between Senator Coleman and Franklin, the Democras found all sorts of ballots in weird places, so Franklin coud be the winner instead of Coleman, who won on election night.

Thank you so very much for the truth in what is happening around us. I pray constantly for a land slide for our President and to take back the congress and hold the senate. We cannot let the dems have an inch. I really do not understand the people who complain, but still vote for the same thing. So very sad that in my lifetime, the only decent dem. I can remember was JFK. During Obama's last term I kept saying how he was setting us back 50 years. So very sad that so many people act like sheepeople. We need to teach our youth to be free thinkers and not just go with the crowd. This is my country land that I love. I am sure you remember that song. We need to teach patriotism. We can not let them take over. I am in my 70's and I plan on going to the poll to vote. If I must wear a mask and social distance, then so be it.

Love the story about people stringing up blow dryers and curlers in front of the entitled Pelosi's wonderful hair-do. Brings to mind the trees around Central Oregon that people call the "Shoe Trees" - we hang a pair of old tennies (or something like) on the shoe trees - and I think I heard now of an underwear tree. We like to laugh over here, so we do. And certainly pelosi's wandering hair makes a good joke.

Thanks for telling it like it is on the BLM, Mike! Once this group started, it seemed to take on a life of its own. Bravo to the ones who are using their God-given courage to calm this group and see exactly what they are doing to this wonderful country.

Most of America have a dismal opinion of Congress for a variety of reasons putting self serving aside Congress is complicit in generating Fake News leaking private discussion to the MSM should be cause for dismissal without benefits and to include at least 10 years of prison the same as destroying federal property Congress members are taking advantage unlawfully because the members protect each other in their criminal activity.

If we are to trust poll workers, why can we not trust postal employees? The sanctity of the mail is something we take seriously at the USPS.

I hope that the added jobs were not all those extra census taker slots. Increasing the size of the government work force is never a good thing. They are really a drain on the private sector because they do not generate as much income in productive work-pay comes out of tax revenue and very little comes back in terms of their taxes coming back in.

We need to insist on the security of voting at the polls on Election Day, absentee ballots or early voting in-person at county election offices. Most of the politicians who are pushing voting by mail and vote harvesting are Democrats whom I suspect have mischief in mind.

When did it become permissible for anyone to not only make up lies and then create ads to defame our president? All the fake news, fake whistle-blower, fake stories, all created because of the hate against President Trump. It has to stop and examples of the perpetrators for creating the lies should be publicly known and advertised either by law suit of slander or defamation of character.
These dregs need to be stopped and made example of.

Mike, I love your articles each night. I don't say much because the left and Democrats trace people down and destroy them in some way.
I look forward to the time when no one knows of the word Democrat.
I don't take part in any surveys nor do I tell anyone who I am voting for. It is no bodies business and, I think, all the poles are scewed and dishonest.
I know many people who think like I do.
I send you blessings and gratitude for what you do.

The Economy Will recover-I'm suspect of the National Character! I find a common thread in not only your reports but what we are ALLOWED to see and the Social Media becoming the FACT Checkers of our Republic is ludicrous. When I see ANY group using ANY name I harken back to 1948 when I was 10 and very slight physique and a Carrot Top for hair and the Perfect subject for the School Bully that even the Teachers feared. Upon my daily 'whupping' in the same ditch, while his posse cheered him on Our age, weight , height difference always ended with my having a bloody lip at minimum and sometimes severe enough Mom put me to bed as ILL to prevent Dad seeing my condition! The occasion of Dad coming home early to start his 2nd. of three jobs he worked to provide for us was interrupted to see the tears and blood and he asked for an explanation. I was explaining that Wallace had whipped me AGAIN, and that's when he showed RAGE. Having just returned from the Pacific Island of GUAM preparing for the Invasion of mainland Japan he knew what appeasement resulted in and what decisive action could achieve. I hope I don't have to explain REAL history here? The outcome was the best advice I would receive in handling many problems in the ensuing 72 years. His advice went something along these lines- There is no such thing as a FAIR Fight! If you MUST Fight there can only be a winner and a Loser and I don't really care to know any Losers! ( That was Powerful for a 10-year-old). In that quest, it's acceptable to LEVEL the playing field or equalize the odds. Needless to say when a 10-year old who idolizes his Dad I went overboard and when Wallace got out of the hospital I had gained a reputation! The Good news was I was NEVER bothered by another Bully all the way thru school. My 'Temper' was cooled in the military when a scuffle after a night on the town ended in my 'winning' a fight and gaining a Little Wisdom. My opponent who was also impaired by alcohol had a metal plate in his head and I could have killed him. During my 8 years in the Navy, I had the opportunity to put several of my shipmates in body bags and I will walk a mile to avoid senseless violence -BUT- I will, once again take up arms to Prevent the B urning, L ooting and M urdering in my presence IF the duly elected politicians do not act to LIVE UP to the OATH they took to Protect and Defend. The First Molotov Cocktail, Brick, Broken window or spitting in the face of the underpaid police without IMMEDIATE action will cause me to put my Freedom at Risk to fulfill My OATH, Which has NO Expiration date.

Loved your show tonight!! Great lineup!! Jeff Allen was hilarious, sure needed the laughs.
More lies from the dems, seems that is the only way they think they can win.
Not buying their lies, deceit or scare tactics. They are pathetic!!!
I vote for liberty, freedom, law and order; not socialism and policies that will destroy our country.
I usually vote by absentee ballot, but Nov. 3rd I will be voting in person to make sure my vote is counted.
God bless you for your honest reporting of the facts!!!
