Judge Roy Moore went on Sean Hannity’s radio show, where he adamantly denied ever knowing the woman who made the charge against him and denounced it as a false partisan hit job.

However, some of Moore’s defenders felt he made a mistake in agreeing to the interview because his lawyerly claim that he “generally” didn’t date teenagers in his 30s damaged his credibility. Hannity got praise even from his usual critics for his tough line of questioning.

Criminal mastermind

By Mike Huckabee

Last week in Eagle County, Colorado, an illegal immigrant Huck’s Criminal Mastermind was in court for a hearing on violating his bond on a drug charge when he stood before the judge, removed his hat...and a packet of cocaine fell out on the floor. Knowing attorneys, I’m surprised his didn’t ask for leniency on grounds that his client had enough respect for the law to take his hat off in court.

The NFL on Veterans Day weekend

By Mike Huckabee

Facing a fan boycott for Veterans Day weekend that resulted in a slew of empty seats, NFL players went out of their way to show respect for veterans, and only three players took a knee during the National Anthem. Will this help win back fans, or just be seen as an insincere attempt to stanch the self-inflicted bleeding? I guess we’ll find out next weekend.

Why listeners are tuning out the media

By Mike Huckabee

I think most unbiased observers (if there are any left) have figured out by now that no matter what Trump does, it will be depicted as wrong, horrifying and OUTRAGEOUS by the American media. If he’s non-confrontational with Russia and China, it’s proof that he’s weak and easily manipulated and unfit for office. If he did confront them to their faces, it would be proof that he’s a crude, undiplomatic hothead and unfit for office. This is why so many Americans are tuning out the news media. It’s like having a radio that plays nothing but the Emergency Broadcasting signal 24/7.

Japanese rush to emulate Trump

By Mike Huckabee

I actually kind of feel sorry for the American press. It must be really hard work, when Trump is signing $250 billion worth of deals with China or getting commitments from other nations to help stand up against North Korea, to have to keep constantly coming up with petty attack stories, like accusing him of overfeeding koi fish or being a buffoon because he ordered a hamburger in Japan instead of sushi, like Obama did. The Japanese didn’t seem offended. In fact, the burger restaurant was so swamped with Japanese customers ordering what Trump had, their stock went up 7 percent.

Trump abroad

It’s amazing to see the stark difference between the warm welcomes, deals, concessions and good press Trump scored abroad and the petty criticism he received in the US media. The latest concocted controversy is the claim that Trump believes Russia didn’t try to interfere in our election (he actually said he believes our intelligence agencies that Russia did try to meddle, but he was being diplomatic in saying that Putin “believes what he believes” because we need to get past that and work with Russia on important issues.)

Governor Huckabee - I read you on Facebook every day. Your commentary is a ray of sunshine in a cloudy media. I love the wit and humor within your honest reporting. Thanks for making my day!

in regards of your question, " Why listeners are tuning out the media". I am of the convinced opinion that if there is ever a case of "Russian Meddling" you need to look no further than at the socialist propaganda messages being spouted by the almighty gods of "NEWS Services". If there is even a hint of truth to anything that they "report, it's so purple hazed you'd have to drink their koolaid to understand their lying hypocrisy.

I had already started to stop watching the NFL, for the referees was getting to bad at best just like it is in the NBA! And just like the NBA the NFL players have an attitude problem. I have not watch any NBA games a few years now, or buy any think with their trade mark. Now with this protest of our veterans was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Now the NFL like the NBA I now no longer have any use for them.
We must remember racism is tough and learned, and there are far to many people who what it to be in exist for their on self serving ideology!

On Trump ordering a hamburger...(it's ridiculous that MSM even bothered to do a piece on this and actually paid someone to write it up)... Sorry MSM but Japan is not all sushi all the time, (and by the way, assuming that they only serve and eat sushi is rather racist-culturalist or whatever other new -ist thing you're slinging out at conservatives these days). McDonald's does a booming business there and so does Kentucky Fried Chicken. In fact, KFC is Japan's go-to dining place for Christmas dinner, (bet you didn't know that!). Just because someone may visit a foreign country, it doesn't mean they have to try all the food.

Besides, no one forced George WH Bush to eat BROCCOLI when he proclaimed he didn't like it.

Yellow journalism has been around a long time. Sadly, many Americans have walked away from the mainstream media as a news source and turned to alternative media---I have too. For example, knowing that the CIA is now connected with The Washington Post always makes me wonder about the veracity of any story our local newspaper imports from them. The American public is going to alternative news media out of desparation to get the truth about national matters. I believe that Congress may be considering licensing news reporters in the articles they write. With electronic media available, imagine if the people who then wrote the stories had to give you a copy of what they wrote before printing. If you find the story inaccurate, they don't get to print it. Furthermore, if they do print an inaccurate story anyway, the reporter is cited. With more than 3 violations per year, maybe suspend their license for a year. And yes, I do know that a reporters article may be edited by their bosses. Well, if that's the case, they'll need to find someplace else to work and then report their bosses for further disciplinary action. Is this a perfect solution? No, they'll be some problems along the way, but it will make reporters and bosses think twice about lying about the character of good people whether they're politicians, or common folks. It's time to draw the line as many Americans are doing for accurate news reporting.

Your right on again as usual with this news letter. I quit watching the NFL in 2016 and will not return. I'm slowly turning off the only local news station I could even watch anymore because the news is so full of hate and lies. I barely even watch FOX news now because they have seemed to lost their way as well. I get most of my news from One American News Network now, they are a breath of fresh air in the otherwise stale old networks. The sad part about the media is I write letters expressing my concerns to them and I get no reply and nothing changes. The media is a lot like the politicians who quit listening to the people and now we have finally had enough. I was a democrat like my parents were 25 years ago and I got tired of their monkey business. I switched to a conservative then and now I've just about had enough of the poo throwing Republicans as well. I just hope all of them will wake up and smell the coffee again. Well thanks for listening Mike, I'm going to go have a hamburger for lunch today. May the Lord Bless you and your family richly.
