This could turn into the biggest political scandal of the decade, if the media actually deign to cover it. According to new reports by The Hill and the Circa news site, there was collusion between Russian interests and a leading US Presidential candidate, but it wasn’t Donald Trump. The Hill reveals that a controversial decision by the Obama Administration, okayed by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to sell 20% of America’s uranium supply to the Russian state-owned company Rosatom came despite an FBI investigation at the time uncovering “substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States.”

You can read more about the report here.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has already launched a probe into the newly revealed information and alleged cover-up.

And this New York Post editorial recaps the story, including the money trail of $145 million flowing into the Clinton Foundation and a $500,000 speaking fee to Bill Clinton. This also notes that in charge of the FBI at the time was Robert Mueller, who has been looking under every couch cushion and ash tray in the White House for evidence of Russian collusion by Trump's people, yet never bothered to mention this investigation.

Greg Jarrett of Fox News said that under federal law, Mueller should be forced to step down immediately from his special prosecutor role, since he is hopelessly compromised. But then, he was required by federal law to step down for being hopelessly compromised after we learned that his star witness, James Comey, was also his best pal and protégé, and we’re still waiting for him to comply with that law. Or more to the point, we’re still waiting for anyone in a position of authority in Washington to make him comply with the law. Complying with federal law seems to be something that applies only to Republicans these days.

To us--We The People--the uranium scandal will just get swept under the rug like the rest of the crimes committed. Everyone seems to get excited about another probe into this or that scandal but nothing ever comes of it. The swamp rules in DC. Give us a completion and prosecution so we can believe again.

When are we going to start prosecuting these criminals? Judicial Watch is doing an outstanding job getting the information that has been hidden, but who is going to carry it forward. The Russian uranium deal looks like treason. The Clintons used their foundation as a money-laundering vehicle. How on earth could anyone approve selling 20% of our uranium unless it was for nefarious reasons. The Justice Department needs to come down hard on this. Where is Attorney General Sessions on all of this? The main-stream media will never report any of this as we have no Woodward/Bernsteins any longer, What do we have to do to get answers to all this criminal behavior and have some of these players go to jail even if it a former president. The Clintons have been skirting the law their entire lives and so has Obama.

I think we are getting closer to this deep and dark "swamp" that Trump keeps talking about-and the boys and girls in congress are getting more and more uncomfortable. He has an uncanny way of getting right down to the core problem of so many issues and the pathetic way that both sides of the aisle squirm to cover up the reality they have created. Keep on with your interpretation of the facts so that we have at least a chance at the truth!!

Back-peddling the the new exercise of choice for all the Leftists. You’d think they’d be in better shape by now. They are still fat babies and cry over everything that doesn’t go their way. This is a fiasco in the first degree-but no one is shocked. Sounds like the previous ruse over the Russians was to take eyes off this debacle. Guess we need guidance from Jimmy Kimmel and the late night great minds to sort this out.

sessions is addressing immigration BUT must be afraid to address other issues. He needs to get a backbone. Why would he let someone involved in uranium scandal investigate the scandal? I would not allow that and I am sure others agree. I feel he should order several investigations. Am I wrong when I think he has power to order investigations?

Makes me really, really discouraged about whether we can trust the government to do its job. Only God can help us now, so I pray daily that He will do so.

It seems that the deck is stacked against this administration if they even breathe wrong. When is the Senate going to take action and deal with this past criminal administration we had to deal with for 8 lifetime years. How does anyone get away with such treason?

We have been through this news for months. Nothing new and nothing will come of it --Sessions should have stayed in the senate and Giuliani should have been in his position. Guiliani cleaned up NYC.

I'm nearly praying Hillary goes to jail in my lifetime. Bill is very cool but he should go also.

Can I point out a little forgotten tidbit? Mueller was the guy who flew to Russia to hand deliver a sample of the uranium to seal the deal. He's complicit and cannot be doing ANY investigation into this.

We the people who care will not be satisfied until justice is served...I fear what will take place in our country if it isn't.
    Dept. Of Justice and Congress
    Must act.

This whole thing is really sickening to me. It's a real shame when u can't trust the people that protect us. I was never into politics until president Trump was elected. I am now sorry I ever became interested.

How can it be possible that it is legal to get so much money donated to a political person such as the President of the USA as a kickback?
Especially from a country that could easily use it against us or-- feed their allies with it in order to use against us? The DOJ and FIB have been shamelessly going after many innoce t people for a long time, in order to fill their coffers for bonuses, raises, and trips (since a law in the late 80s passed that allowed them to keep all of the proceeds taken in asset seizures/forfeitures, instead of where it used to go--into the US Treasury--the amounts skyrocketed from around $94 million per year to $4.4 BILLION. It is easier for them to keep their looted bounty if they call the people criminals who they pirated feom. Hopefully they will find themselves under the same type of circus-like one sided investigations and court cases as they have built up in the system. They and only then may things start to change.
