Our top story this week...

We’re on the verge of some huge revelations about what was really going on within the intelligence community concerning the Steele dossier and the investigation of Trump. For now, have confidence that we’ll be on the facts as they roll out.

For now, recall that one “clue” from just the other day was that U.S. Attorney John Durham, appointed by Attorney General Bill Barr to investigate the beginnings of the FBI “Trump/Russia” probe, needs to look at the emails exchanged between then-FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan in December of 2016. These reportedly discussed how the (unverified) information in the dossier might be used during the presidential transition.

Something tells me Durham was already well aware of these emails.

With gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

"Huckabee" Preview

By Mike Huckabee

Join me tonight for another great new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN!  Investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson will pull back the curtain on Deep State spying on citizens, which she knows about firsthand.  Former Ohio Rep. Bob McEwen will discuss this week’s landmark abortion law news.  Football legend Eddie George will tell us how he inspires others to pursue incredible “second acts” in life, like his.  You’ll meet a Huck’s Hero who’s helping sick children through one of the most unusual fundraising events you can imagine.  I’ll also have serious commentary, some crazy news “In Case You Missed It,” and a visit to “Our Kind of Town” (Is it your town? Tune in and see!)  I’ll cap it all off with music from five-time Grammy-winning Christian music superstar, Steven Curtis Chapman.  Now that’s a show!

It’s all coming tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, only on TBN. To find your local TBN channel and stream previous episodes online (including last week’s news-making episode with John Bolton and Roseanne Barr), visit

I try not to comment on everything that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says.  It’s low-hanging fruit, and besides, I have some sympathy for today’s young people who have been taught more leftwing propaganda and self-esteem than knowledge.  But her new claim that her warning that we’ll all be dead in 12 years if we don’t pass the “Green New Year” was only a joke sort of brings her into my wheelhouse.

On Wednesday night’s “Ingraham Angle,” there was a magnificent discussion about the sham Trump investigation with Rudy Giuliani, Joe diGenova and former Whitewater independent counsel Robert Ray that absolutely must not be missed, and I say that not because I was subbing for Laura Ingraham at the time.

After being on defense –- with his hands legally tied –- for the first two years of his Presidency, President Trump is finally able to go on offense, as he can no longer be accused of “interfering with the Russia investigation.” But something else is afoot as well, according to deGenova, and here is the tremendous breaking news: The FISA court has been looking into abuses of the FISA system and has communicated with the Justice Department about its findings. Their chief judge has already determined that for more than four years before the election of Donald Trump, there was an illegal spying operation (yes, SPYING –- and, yes, ILLEGAL) going on by four FBI contractors to break the law to steal personal electronic information about American citizens and to use it against the Republican Party.

#4 Most Read Story

And this is why the Democrats have been desperate to get rid of Attorney General Bill Barr...

In momentous news, Barr has just appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham of Connecticut to investigate the origins of the FBI Trump/Russia probe “Crossfire Hurricane.” This means Barr suspects something criminal took place, as opposed to just bad policy or poor decision-making. It will be Durham's job to determine whether the government’s methods of collecting intelligence related to the 2016 Trump campaign were “lawful and appropriate.”

The big questions that must be answered: Sure, we needed to look into Russia’s interference in our elections, but when and how did then-candidate Trump and his campaign get included in that? Was this political weaponization of the intelligence community? If so, how high did it go?

#5 Most Read Story

Reader comments are driving my newsletter today.  It seems appropriate to use this perfectly-timed letter from reader Lawrence to introduce today’s unsettling FBI news….

Governor Mike,

Re the FBI spying. It's de rigeur for politicians to praise the FBI, and say "only a few" agents have gone off the rails. How quickly we forget! The FBI has a long history of political activity and abuse of citizens. The FBI HQ building in Washington is named for one of the most shameful characters to ever be in government, J. Edgar Hoover.

And, having worked with the FBI numerous times over the course of an almost 54-year career in the Defense Department, I can tell you they are not always the sharpest knife in the drawer. I've seen more than one DOD operation or investigation torpedoed by the FBI because they had congressional testimony coming up and wanted what we called a B4 (Bureau budget boosting bust) to brag about before Congress. I think we need to abolish the FBI, start over with a new law enforcement agency that has rigorous congressional controls. The agents that work for the FBI now could apply for jobs and be given hiring priority at the new agency, provided they are cleared of any political actions while working for the FBI.

Standing up to Hollywood

By Mike Huckabee

Something you don’t see every day, or hardly ever: a voice of sanity from Hollywood.  Also bravery.  I guess having a lot of talent and all those “Frasier” residuals helps.

Read to the end, where he points out something that bears repeating: that the “same bunch of clowns” who are attacking Trump were in charge of Washington for decades and they weren’t “doing us any favors.”  That thought also occurs to me every time I hear the pompous John Kerry types blasting Trump for not correctly dealing with the nuclear threats in North Korea and Iran that he inherited from their years of "smart diplomacy."

Feeling unsafe

By Mike Huckabee

Funny how even the most mainstream conservatives are unwelcome on college campuses because simply expressing a different viewpoint makes liberals “feel unsafe.”  Yet liberals brush off complaints by the Jewish community that it makes them “feel unsafe” to have public libraries promote events that mislead small children about the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Having visited Israel dozens of times over the years, I have seen firsthand many sickening examples of the kind of shocking, hate-promoting, anti-Semitic “educational” propaganda that's aimed at teaching Palestinian children to want to kill Jews. I’m sure the book that’s the subject of this story is nothing like that.  But any book that teaches the alphabet to children by teaching them that “I is for Intifada,” while whitewashing the word’s meaning, is a subtle step in a direction that we should never start down.

There’s an old saying: “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”  To those who seek to bend young twigs to grow up into bigoted, anti-Semitic haters, we should say, “You are bent, and we won’t allow this.  Not in America, and not to our kids.”
