It’s not news that Hillary’s makeshift private email server was very likely hacked by China and other foreign powers while she was Secretary of State. That was revealed about a year ago. But the curious indifference of FBI officials when they were told about it in late 2015 or early 2016 --- that IS news.

The strategy of both the State Department and the FBI apparently was to play it all down. According to a new report from FOX News’ Gregg Re, Senate investigators allege that State Department officials sought to “downgrade classified material found on the server.” The senators conveyed this assertion in a letter, along with evidence in the form of interview transcripts, to Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley.

Now, class, why would the State Department try to lower the classification of Hillary’s emails? (I see all the hands are going up. What a smart class.) Yes, at that time, Hillary was all-in as the anointed Democrat candidate for President. She and the DNC had already decided this, long before. She was going to be the next President of the United States. We’ve already seen the lengths then-FBI Director James Comey went to in order to “save” her; here we see that the State Department was getting into the act. They had to make Hillary’s transgressions look less serious than they were.

In August of 2018, a couple of news articles --- the first in The Daily Caller, and a later one from FOX News --- triggered the Senate investigation. According to the letter to Grassley, the articles “alleged that a Chinese state-owned company hacked former Secretary Clinton’s non-governmental server and inserted code that forwarded nearly all of her emails to the foreign company.” According to a source for FOX News, this company was a front for Chinese intelligence. The source said that the office of inspector general for the intelligence community was so alarmed by this discovery that two officials drove over to inform FBI agents, including Peter Strzok, in person.

One of those IG officials, Frank Rucker, later told Senate investigators that Strzok seemed “aloof and dismissive” and didn’t ask many questions during the hour-long meeting. At that time, Strzok was the deputy assistant of the FBI’s counterintelligence division in charge of the Clinton investigation. (Excuse me, “investigation.”)

The other IG official, Jeanette McMillian, referred to FBI officials as “poker-faced.” Under normal circumstances, one would think they’d be horrified at the thought of China, our most powerful adversary, hacking the emails of the U.S. Secretary of State. Holy cow.

Rucker was the one who had identified an email address in Hillary’s email metadata as a potential “live dropbox” for all her emails, offering a foreign actor easy access. Simply Googling that address turned up a Chinese company called “Shandong Carter Heavy Industry Machinery.” It was later determined, in April of this year, that this address matched a “dummy” address used by Hillary’s IT aide Paul Combetta to create backups of her emails. Peter Strzok, in an email from May of 2016, said: “we know foreign actors obtained access” to some of Hillary’s emails, including at least one “secret” message “via compromises of the private email accounts” of her staffers. (I wonder what compromises he was talking about; at that time, we had yet to learn about Anthony Weiner’s laptop.)

Interestingly, the FBI made it clear that the IG officials would be providing information to them about Hillary’s server, but not the other way around. Apparently, they were keeping their own activities close to the vest.

McMillian told the Senate investigators that State Department officials initially fought back against the intelligence community being involved, but that they eventually relented. She told them that two State Department officials tried to shield some of Hillary’s emails from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act by using the “deliberative process” exemption, rather than saying they were classified.

One of those employees, Austin Evers, has since joined other former Obama administration officials in forming an organization called American Oversight, which, according to the FOX News report, is “dedicated to uncovering ethics issues in the Trump administration.

It appears that while he was in the Obama State Department, Evers was dedicated to covering up ethics issues for Hillary.

Rucker told the Senate investigators that then-Ambassador Patrick Kennedy questioned whether certain emails should be provided to the intelligence community and fought against classifying other emails. (Again, the more emails deemed “classified,” the more serious Hillary’s breach of protocol would be, and State Department officials were obviously determined to cut her as much slack as they could.) This is consistent with some “302” interview notes released in 2016, which allege that Kennedy pressured underlings to change classified email codes so they would be kept from Congress --- and from us.

FOX News first heard about what Kennedy was doing to protect Hillary as far back as August of 2015, though Kennedy denied allegations of classified code tampering in a December 2015 FBI interview. Jason Chaffetz, who was then chairman of the House Oversight Committee, alleged that the FBI discussed with the State Department the possibility of getting more FBI slots for missions overseas in exchange for downgrading the classification of some of the Hillary emails. The FBI has since issued a lengthy statement denying there was any such exchange.

So it seems there were people at the State Department working overtime to protect Hillary, but I don’t know why they felt they had to go to so much trouble. Didn’t they know the FBI, under the control of then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who was under the control of President Obama, was also working overtime to protect her? Didn’t they know Hillary would get a pass from the Justice Department for whatever she had done, even if anybody else –- aside from her aides, of course, who got fabulous immunity deals –- would have been indicted?

Didn’t they know the fix was in?

FBI 'indifferent' to possible China hack of Hillary Clinton's server, as State Department fought to protect her, interviews suggest?

These facts bear witness to the tragedy of a life not lived in the light of eternity! Because most Americans have been impacted by the crisis we are facing with kids killing other kids..and because it is pretty obvious that a kid who is capable of killing another kid has a heart that is filled
with HATRED...If Americans can see how the same hatred that is killing our kids is the same hatred that the Democrats are sewimg on the President maybe they can see how electing a Democrat would make America guilty of being a part of this tragic crisis we are facing with our kids!

While I appreciate the fact that this stuff is getting uncovered, nothing will be done about it. This country is too polarized to believe one side or the other. We need a candidate with conservative value’s that will NOT turn those moderate (if there are any left) Democrats and Independents against him or her. In fact, unless and until we have a complete revival in this nation, I do not believe this will happen. Not that we are doomed, mind you, but we are getting pretty close. There are people who absolutely HATE President Trump as a person, that even if they agree with his agenda, will still NOT vote for him. However, with that said, God is still in control.

Shoot Gov, you must be aware that incompetency, duplication, and good old bureaucracy would have never entered the minds of government officials (FBI & Intelligence Investigators) so, they may never had known that the "Fix" was in... As someone that served 23 years in the military, I am so familiar with this process, eventually because of the number of dummies - the whole story will be peeled back and redundancy will be revealed at each and every corner...

there may indeed be some link to china hacking-BUT this news is nothing more than a diversion from what clinton and the crew did to blatantly hide/destroy/divert evidence of her involvement. There is absolutely NO defense for her involvement in the DEATHS of four of our American citizens in the Bengazi attack--and the includes her BOSS.-----WHY are these people not in JAIL??????

Unfortunately, nothing seems to ever get done. The "Democrats" are so faithful to Hillary & her gang, they will do anything in their power to dismiss everything she's done.

    Dear Governor Mike,
My whole faith in our legal process lies in the hands of AG Barr and the people who are doing a real investigation of the Hillary Clinton server which, had we been doing the same thing, would have resulted in loss of employment, loss of clearance, 250k fine and imprisonment. And the ongoing investigation into the origins of the criminal conspiracy undertook by the Obama Admin to undo the will of the people and the election of 2016.
A whole bunch of people better go to jail for a very long time. And at the head of the line, better be Hillary Clinton, James Comey and his band of criminals, James Clapper, John Brennan and Obama himself - he green lighted the whole sordid affair.
If this does not happen, these people going to prison, then we should just close the DOJ and the FBI, because there is no justice in this country. Justice demands prosecution, and if guilty, long prison sentences. This MUST NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN>

This all sounds like "fake news" that we have heard from you over and over. IF any of this is true, WHY hasn't SOMEONE, ANYONE been at least CHARGED with wrong doing or better yet been convicted and thrown in jail? This is just the same old "rhetoric" you use to get the "masses" upset. I will not hold my breath!!

Always so disheartening, yet never shocking to hear “continuing dangerous and ethically bad news” regarding Hillary Clinton. Always corrupt!
When, is the question, will she be held accountable? All Americans want to know!

I don’t think so, we will never get justice. Our government is as crook as a dogs hind leg, except for Trump and they paint him as a bad guy. I’m afraid the democrats will win.

We Americans who love our country, honor our President, and respect our military and police, etc. have become very frustrated to see such evil and hate prevail and people like Hillary and so many others walking free for treasonous acts. We are all anxiously awaiting for Trump and his faithful and trusted leaders to truly "drain the swamp." It's taking time for it to all be exposed and I suppose it'll take much time to be drained, but we are praying that will truly happen and all such evil exposed and legally eradicated.

Apparently even under these circumstances of protecting HIllary Clinton, the different bodies of the government don't talk with each other - Hillary had more protection that the Isreali Defence Force for incoming from Pakistan.
What the American people (other than Media and Democrats) the deplorables need to know is who will dive deep into this and show all those who were protecting Hillary because she was the annointed one. By the way, who specifically annointed her?

so when does she get prosecuted or are the Clinton's really so powerful that "we the people" don't have the power to bring them down. It's so obvious that "we the people" have no power in our country. It's about money. Shameful thing is they use "we the people's" money to avoid prosecution and pay off those who might be in a position to bring charges. I don't trust our government and it should be obvious why.

"Bloody Hands Killery" Return with me to those dreadful 13 hours of Benghazi. Why is the fact that Clinton received and denied over 600 requests from Ambassador Stevens for additional security not just glossed over, but completely NOT considered? That added security was constantly denied, and in fact the insufficient security force was REDUCED to some ridiculous single digit number!

China had access, other countries had access, HS Harry had access, what logically thinking person would determine that those Benghazi killers had NO idea there was an American Ambassador, all but unguarded, ripe for the taking? What is needed, round up one of those terrorists and find one of Clinton's emails to Stevens denying security in their pocket?

The FACT this woman, and at least half of her 'Clinton Crime Family' are NOT in jail, for anything and everything from incompetence to malfeasance in office, is an American tragedy for all Americans, but especially for the survivors of those 'allowed' to die in Benghazi!

Gov. Huckabee; Exactly how many strikes do congressional persons get before they are made to pay for their crimes? I wonder what the body count Clinton is responsible for is at now that another suicide in a jail cell has occurred. I really appreciate your comments and look forward to the next one. Thanks for looking out for the best interest of our country and citizens. Keep your comments coming. Again "Thanks".
