When the “whistleblower” story broke earlier this week, it was ridiculously short on specifics, but that didn’t stop the anti-Trump media from immediately sensationalizing and speculating wildly on WHAT motivated WHAT whistleblower to blow the whistle on WHAT highly inappropriate thing Trump had promised to WHAT foreign leader during WHAT phone call and WHAT the reason was for not sharing details with Congress. Reporters salivated over this wisp of a story, and why not? They tend to know precious little about other things they report; why not go with this as well? We decided to apply the “CNN rule” (or NEW YORK TIMES, take your pick) and wait at least 24 hours before commenting, knowing that in just about every case, it quickly turns out to be bogus and CNN moves into position to jump on the next one.

President Trump pushed back forcefully on the story. “...Is anybody dumb enough to believe that I would say something inappropriate with a foreign leader while on such a potentially “heavy populated” call. I would only do what is right anyway, and only do good for the USA!” He called it “another Fake News story,” and goodness knows, there have been plenty of those.

Hezbollah in the U.S.

By Mike Huckabee

The Justice Department has made public the July arrest on nine counts of Alexei Saab, 42, of Morristown, New Jersey, a naturalized US citizen from Lebanon. The charges include doing surveillance for the terrorist group Hezbollah for potential attacks on US targets. He was allegedly scouting the vulnerabilities of such locations as Fenway Park in Boston; the Washington Monument and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials in DC; and in New York, the George Washington Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. He also allegedly gathered intelligence for Hezbollah in Turkey and attempted to murder a man he believed to be an Israeli spy.

The DOJ says that Saab joined Hezbollah in 1996 and received extensive training in small arms and bomb building, then became a US citizen in 2008, despite swearing under penalty of perjury that he had never been associated with a terrorist organization (and of course, that he renounced allegiances to anyplace other than the USA.) Wait, you mean that people who intend to commit mass murder will break laws and lie to the government to achieve their goals? Someone tell “Beto” O’Rourke!

A big salute to the federal agents who identified and neutralized this threat. I’d also remind you that Hezbollah is strongly aligned with and funded by Iran to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars (Iran claims it funds Hezbollah’s “humanitarian” activities, which I assume means fighting overpopulation.)

So as the writers of the New York Times prepare their upcoming hit pieces slamming President Trump for not appeasing Iran and its nuclear ambitions the way their beloved last Administration did, they might bear in mind that the very offices where they pound out their propaganda were on Hezbollah’s target list, and it was the Trump DOJ that stopped them. You’re welcome.

A disturbing story out Indiana

By Mike Huckabee

The story of what Indiana authorities have found hidden in the home of recently-deceased abortionist Ulrich Klopfer is so sick and disturbing, it’s like something out of a Hannibal Lechter novel. I’m not even going to discuss the details. I’ll just provide you with this link to help protect your kids from seeing it. You can make your own informed decision about clicking it and reading more.

I feel that I have to call your attention to this story, though, because Heaven knows the mainstream media aren’t going to give it any attention. They didn’t merely ignore the similar house-of-horrors story of abortionist/convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell, they editorialized against the prosecution, boycotted covering the trial and even tried to impose a media blackout on the movie about the case, “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.” (Official website here:

Defenders of abortion used to claim that they wanted to keep it “safe, legal and rare.” They’ve long since abandoned any pretense that they want it to be rare (Planned Parenthood has made it their profit center.) When they oppose laws and health regulations on abortion clinics that any other medical facility would have to follow, they claim it’s because they’re protecting women’s rights, but as Gosnell and Klopfer show, they are willing to protect the most dangerous quacks at severe risk to women as long as they’re protecting abortion. So it’s safe to say that “safe” is also no longer a concern.

When abortion defenders cover for the ghoulish likes of Gosnell and Klopfer, yet ruthlessly slander someone like Brett Kavanaugh just in hopes of protecting Roe v. Wade, they prove that all that matters anymore is keeping abortion legal at all costs. “Safe” and “rare” are now on the scrap heap of history, along with their sense of human decency.

Colt stops production of the AR-15 for consumers

By Mike Huckabee

Colt announced that it is halting production of its AR-15 rifles for the consumer market to focus on providing them to military and law enforcement.

Colt denied that this has anything to do with the current media and political attacks on AR-15s, such as “Beto” O’Rourke’s vow to confiscate them when he becomes President (personally, I’d fire any executive who made business decisions based on what might happen if “Beto” O’Rourke becomes President.) Colt claims it’s wholly based on market conditions: their contracts with police and military buyers are taking up their entire manufacturing capacity while consumer sales are down due to an excess of inventory (also, other manufacturers make those rifles – and if the glut abates and demand returns, Colt will go back to making them for consumers.)

I’m sure this will be spun as a victory for the anti-gun movement, but it’s more likely sales are down because so many people already bought those rifles thanks to the threats of banning them. The anti-gun movement got what it wanted, sort of: sales of AR-15s are down because their rhetoric made everyone who might want one rush and buy one or more.

Now, here’s what I’ll be waiting to find out with great interest: if there are so many AR-15s now in circulation that the market is glutted, will there be a big spike in crimes committed with them, as the anti-gun people predict? Or will they continue to represent only the tiniest percentage of crimes committed with guns? Or will even that number go down, now that criminals and would-be mass shooters know that so many citizens (their would-be victims) reacted to these crimes by arming themselves? I’m not sure what will happen, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on the first one.

##Appellation##, I wanted to make sure you also read this comment:

While I have nothing but respect and gratitude for Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s military service, I fail to see how capitulating to Iran because they attacked the Saudi oil processing facility would be putting America first, or how returning to the nuclear deal they weren’t really observing will slow down their efforts to build nuclear weapons.

Likewise, I hardly think that President Trump’s tweet that he is “waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of the attack, and under what terms we would proceed” is proof that he’s the lackey of Saudi Arabia. For years, the Democrats have attacked Republicans as interventionists who want to rush to war before they know all the facts. They even tried to paint Trump as one during the 2016 election. Now that he’s refraining from rushing in military, waiting to get the full story, and putting the primary responsibility for retaliating on the nation that was hit (Saudi Arabia) rather than having us rush in to intervene, they’re calling him a wuss.

Waiting to get intel and input from Saudi Arabia doesn’t mean Trump is letting the Saudis dictate his policy toward Iran. And he sure as heck isn’t going to let some bombs and threats by Iran make him let Iran dictate what he’s going to do to Iran.

These doctors who performed abortions are in no way typical of those who do . And what makes you think, Mr. Huckabee, that woman will not have abortions if Roe v Wade is overturned ?
Watches you think there were few or no abortions before Roe? Sir, you should remember this fact : Roe v Wade was not the beginning of abortion in America . It was the end of women DYING form abortions . Are you ware that more abortions happen in countries where it is illegal than where it is legal ? This is a fact. And that laws against abortion are totally unenforceable and that no nation has ever been able to stop women from having abortions or ever will ?
Why don't you support more government programs to help poor women to prevent unwanted pregnancies and to be able to provide for their children once born ? What do you care about children once born ? You are a typical anti-choicer . You are not "pro-life". You are pro birth . FORCED birth .
Ionically, your hated Obamacare PREVENTED an enormous number of abortions , because poor women were finally getting the medical help they needed . Your beloved Trump is trying to abolish it, yet has nothing better to offer . Nothing at all in fact. His policies are only going to INCREASE the abortion rate markedly . You are a hypocrite, sir .

Mike, this is in reference to your King James Bible versus. I'm glad you include them, but they are difficult to read; like a foreign language. To newbe Christians; they should not have to learn a foreign language to read the bible or be a christian. Speak American if you want them to hear.
