DAILY BIBLE VERSE
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105 KJV

I have on occasion referred to certain far-left members of Congress as anti-Semitic. Unlike some people, I don’t use that term lightly. I think when you call someone a racist or anti-Semite, you are accusing them of one of the worst sins imaginable, so you’d better have solid evidence for it and not be undermining the seriousness of the words by using them for cheap political attacks.
That’s a prelude to reporting that “Squad” member Rashida Tlaib introduced a resolution in Congress to officially commemorate “Nakba Day,” which is Arabic for “the catastrophe.” It falls on May 15th, a day after the anniversary of Israel declaring independence. Tlaib put out a press release saying, "The Israeli apartheid government’s ongoing ethnic cleansing seeks to degrade Palestinian humanity and break the will of the people to be free."
Israel’s ambassador to the UN said that activist groups promoting these claims are pushing hatred, incitement, violence and terror and launching "a jihad war against the only vibrant democracy in the Middle East." I can attest to it being a vibrant, tolerant, multicultural democracy because I’ve been there dozens of times and just ended a 10 day-trip to Israel.
I’ve called out Rep. Tlaib before for her disgusting anti-Semitic statements, but if there were ever any doubt about her attitude toward Jews and Israel, please note that in this case, I am joined by the Coalition for Jewish Values, a group representing 2,000 rabbis. The CJV issued a statement saying that Arab armies responded to the founding of Israel with a call for genocide, and they’ve continued with “repeated wars and horrific acts of terrorism for the sole purpose of killing Jews and destroying the world’s only Jewish state. They proclaimed their intent in 1948 as a 'momentous massacre,' to kill all Jews in Israel as Hitler did in Germany, and what they call a 'Nakba' is that they fell 99% short of that obscene goal."
They add "that the real catastrophe is that we have reached the point that this was introduced. This indelible stain on Congress is a direct result of the failure of its leaders to act against anti-Semitism as it festered over the past three years, and it is long overdue for the Speaker of the House of Representatives to not merely issue platitudes about anti-Semitism, but to lead the House in censuring those who voice it.”
Well, how about it, Speaker Pelosi? Could you take a little time out of your busy schedule of demonizing Trump voters as racist, white supremacist terrorists to rebuke the open anti-Semites and defenders of real terrorists in your own Congressional delegation?
And to Rep. Tlaib’s constituents in Michigan: in November, you have the opportunity to correct the shameful mistake of staining your Congressional seat with this person. For your own sakes and that of all decent Americans, please exercise it.
Dispatches from the Non-Reality-Based Community
A Democrat witness before the House Judiciary Committee, obviously unconcerned about perjury laws, testified that men can get pregnant and have abortions.
So, exactly how many of these alleged “pregnant men” are there in the US? Er…we’ll have to get back to you on that. Despite the government’s push to replace words like “mother” and “pregnant woman” with “birthing person,” Fox News asked the HHS and surveyed major hospitals nationwide on how many men get pregnant on a yearly basis, and were unable to obtain any data whatsoever.
Actually, I can provide that data for them. The number of men who have gotten pregnant is: Zero. That data has remained constant since the year One.
DeBlasio considering a congressional run
The New York Post reports that former Mayor Bill DeBlasio is privately “committed” to running for Congress in Jerry Nadler’s former district. I have a suggested campaign slogan for him: “Let me do for America what I did for New York City: Destroy it!”
More from Elon Musk
He announced that he’s always voted for Democrats in the past, but “they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”
Finally, a tech billionaire becomes “woke” for real! I suspect he’s one of many millions who are finally waking up to the reality I’ve been preaching for years. I hope he’s prepared for the leftist fury. They’ll come after him tooth and tong for committing heresy, like they did Brandon Straka, but at least he has a lot more money to fight them with.
I mentioned a couple of days ago that Twitter claimed a study found that fewer than 5% of its user accounts were fake bots, which I found very hard to believe. Elon Musk is also skeptical, and that matters to him because the price he's paying for Twitter is based on its value to advertisers as determined by how many actual users it can claim.
Now, he has even more reason to be skeptical after Newsweek reported that a SparkToro audit tool determined that 49.3% of the followers of Joe Biden’s official Presidential Twitter account, @POTUS, were fake - bots, spam accounts, inactive accounts, etc. (Democrats replied that that's a "Big Lie," but they turned out to be bots. Kidding!) Musk tweeted that Twitter’s CEO refused to show the proof that fewer than 5% of Twitter accounts are fake, but going by Biden’s numbers, the real number could be 10 times 5%.
To be fair, if a large number of Biden’s Twitter followers are inactive accounts, that might simply mean that they’re dead people who do still actively vote Democrat.
Poor word choice
Former President George W. Bush is famous for his mispronunciations and malapropisms that became known as “Bushisms.” But if you’re going to trip over your tongue while speaking, this was an especially unfortunate way to do it.
