The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (!) has lifted lower court stays on the Trump Administration’s rule restricting immigration by people who are likely to become “public charges” (that is, who have expensive health problems and no insurance or means of support.) There are other injunctions from courts that aren’t under the 9th Circuit’s jurisdiction, so this will have to be settled by the Supreme Court.

https://news.yahoo.com/ninth-circuit-lifts-injunctions-blocking-131645636.html

It’s ridiculous that the SCOTUS should have to bother with this at all, since US immigration law is clear that we are not obligated to accept immigrants who will become a burden on the taxpayers.  But as in so many cases when Trump exercised powers that are plainly his under the Constitution, leftists went judge-shopping and found judges who are willing to substitute their personal feelings for the law and usurp executive powers. It appears that the only solution to this is to replace these judges, which, fortunately, Trump is working on (note that stunning win in the 9th Circuit Court, until recently notorious for its loony left rulings.)

This is why I no longer bother covering every outrageous extra-judicial ruling from a rogue leftist federal judge: there are too many of them, and the real story isn’t told until they’re appealed to an actual court. In the meantime, we can just hope that the SCOTUS will hold the line and rule on the Constitution instead of their feelings.

This is a hopeful sign that the left may be pushing this “run to the courts” thing too far: Even liberal icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg just issued a temporary stay, blocking House Democrats from obtaining Trump’s businesses' bank records, so they can rifle through them like raccoons in a Dumpster, looking for something to charge him with.

https://noqreport.com/2019/12/06/ruth-bader-ginsburg-blocks-house-democrats-obtaining-presidents-tax-records/

Say, if the House Democrats think they have a right to see all of Trump's personal and business bank records, how about if we get to see all of theirs?

With gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

FEATURED STORY

Idiotic policy

By Mike Huckabee

Friday morning, three people were killed and 12 injured at U.S. Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida when a Naval aviation student opened fire during a class.  The shooter, who was killed by sheriff’s deputies during a stand-off, has been identified as Saudi Arabian national Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani.  Six other Saudi nationals were detained for questioning.  The A.P. said authorities are investigating to see if it might be “terror-related.” (The news of a deadly assault by Saudi nationals who came to America to take flight training is a little too much déjà vu to ignore.)

https://www.foxnews.com/us/saudis-arrested-questioning-pensacola-shooting

Some people are speaking up to prevent another Fort Hood shooting-like branding of terrorism as “workplace violence.”  Rep. Matt Gaetz, who represents that area, has already called it an act of terrorism, pointing out that if it were murder, NCIS would not have quickly handed the investigation over to the FBI.  He’s calling on the Department of Defense and the Department of State to institute “extreme vetting” of people who are allowed into the US to train on our bases and in our communities.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/matt-gaetz-pensacola-shooting-act-of-terrorism-need-extreme-vetting-for-foreign-nationals-training-on-military-bases

But let’s not move on so quickly that we lose sight of another outrage that needs to be addressed, one that is largely responsible for the high victim count. Incredibly, our military bases are still “gun-free zones,” or as I call them, “sitting duck zones.”  Despite the fact that virtually all mass shootings take place in so-called “gun-free zones,” we still have an unbelievably idiotic policy of banning everyone on our military bases from carrying guns. That means the people who are the best-trained in the world to handle weapons, and whom we entrust with using those weapons to protect all Americans, are not allowed to have weapons to protect themselves.  When this shooter pulled out a gun and started firing – on a UNITED STATES MILITARY BASE! – all his unarmed victims had to wait until sheriff’s deputies showed up to engage the shooter.

With President Trump doing so much to reverse the destructive and idiotic policies of his predecessors, let’s hope he makes reversing this a top priority. Here’s more on that subject, including the restrictions we put on our military members and how many times they’ve been attacked after being rendered defenseless, but I warn you: it will make you very angry.

I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:

Today is Pearl Harbor Day.  Seventy-eight years ago today, on December 7th, 1941, that "date which will live in infamy," Japan launched a sneak attack on the US Naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, that brought the US into World War II.  2,403 Americans were killed and 1,178 others were wounded, making it the deadliest attack on America until 9/11. The cry then was "Remember Pearl Harbor."  Today, we should all remember Pearl Harbor, its victims and heroes, and its lesson about what happens when we let down our guard.

Take a break from your Christmas shopping tonight for a newsmaking new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN!  I’ll be talking to Democratic Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, who helped sink Kamala Harris’ White House hopes.  I’ll also welcome Candace Owens, founder of the Blexit movement that’s encouraging black voters to reject blind loyalty to one party.  For Pearl Harbor Day, author T. Martin Bennett will tell us about his bestseller “Wounded Tiger,” about the surprising turn that the life of the leader of the Japanese attack took. Christine Caine will talk about her worldwide ministry to stop sex trafficking, and “Inside Edition’s” Megan Alexander will share something great for kids and moms this Christmas. I’ll have some commentary on the news, serious and not so much.  And we’ll cap it off with some Christmas music from singer Deana Martin, who learned how to make the holiday merry at the knee of her famous dad, Dean Martin.

So pour the hot cocoa and settle in by the TV!  It airs tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and the same times on Sunday, on TBN. I (We) always watch your show and love it. On the subject of your guest Tulsi Gabbard~I couldn't put my finger on why I was feeling that her presence came across as a little self-serving and dishonest. Sure she talked about a strong military (let's hope she would as she was a Major in the armed forces) and for being there for the American people. To me, I didn't see honesty but rather manipulation and a way to devour her opponents and bring down President Trump, even to an illegal impeachement. Then I noticed something, THE WHITE SUIT of Resistance! "The Resistance" is Hilary Clinton's and Nancy Polski's mantra. At least I would expect a former ranking "Major" of our armed forces to come up with something more original to wear than the in-your-face white suit, Resistance garb of the left. She's about as honest, for "what is good for the people and our military," as a two-headed snake.
    Thank you, Mike.
    A Consertive/Republican~

    Mike;
I work at an Air Base here in Kommifornicate, where the Security Forces DO CARRY fire arms, and since it is where the training for Test Pilots, and NASA are here, they DO use the dogs to search cars, and work sites. This part of Kommifornicate, is the Aviation Capitol of the U.S., as here is where we built the Shuttles, the SR-71, the F-35, and F-22, B-2, and B-1, as well as the F-117as well as MANY of the secret, and far out research for space and rocket development. The Air Force DOES take the security of the base, the civilians, and the country VERY seriously.
I only wish our state took the security, of it's borders, and it's people seriously.

The General Public does not care about any body's tax records they concern themselves with their own. Lets get into taxes I want tax reform for Senior Citizens Lets have the House of Representatives pick up my tax exemption on Social security let me know when Pelosi votes on that one, seems as Foreign Aid has become quite a problem lets stop the aid until we can be sure its being used for the use intended, stop and re examine the grants given the last 10 years to programs that can be funded privately. I am sure most of them will not get funded, until tax reform has taken place I will use my tax guy to make sure I pay what's owed. Taxpayers are being abused more just look at what these investigations are costing I am paying for that .I want the tax dollars spent on St Judes Hospital or Wounded Warriors Tunnels to Towers there is 100's of places that are good for mankind other than these shameful and embarrassing investigations. Congress people fix our countries problems!!! Shut down the tax payers funds that are being abused, Americans pay the taxes for the good of Americans get that thru your thick skulls.

The judges that unlawfully rule against federal laws that are clear laws should be put on trial themselves and if found guilty of not enforcing existing laws should be taken off the bench and disbarred and incarceration along with big fines judges don’t rewrite laws they enforce laws already created.

Today, Dec.7 is Pearl Harbor Day. Most of us will not forget the call “Remember Pearl Harbor Day”. I know I won’t. It seems however that all of the TV networks are attempting to help us forget that infamous day in our history. Not one of the TV networks broadcast a Pearl Harbor/WWII movie of any kind. Am I missing something?- Or are the TV networks in fact trying to wipe out more history along with their statues?

Why are classrooms with international military people not have security with loaded weapons? I agree that most of the students may be good armed guards would make them think twice about trouble also to train suicidal warriors seems suicidal do not let pc get in front of security we owe the taxpayers that much our military has the responsibility to secure safety for our trainees I am not in favor of radical trainees Does the military remember 9/11. If the media lets us hear swalwell fart maybe the media should let the public know we are training radicals here in us people should know!!

One of my first thoughts on hearing the Pensacola shooting was, there should have been a good man/woman with a gun on that base. The reporters attending the press conference were what I think reporters should be (and used to be) No hollering and shouting, good questions, and did not hound the mayor, naval captain and law enforcement officials about questions where the answer was ''we don't have information on that yet" or "that is information we cannot share at this point," etc. If the msm had reporters there, or watched the press conference, it's for sure they shouldn't have been spending their time on speculations. Don't know how or even if they reported on it, though.

I watched the Peloton exercise bike ad. From the reference about some people not being happy about the ad, and reference to the man gives a very fit looking woman one. If it's because a man gave a fit woman an exercise bike, people need to get a life. First of all (I know, it was all actors) the woman might have ASKED for the bike. A fit woman continues doing that which keeps her fit--it looked like she was glad to be able to work out at home after working all day, instead of having to go to the fitness center. Anyway, shows there are some people just looking for SOMETHING< ANYTHING to make a fuss about.

I was pleased to see a stay from Justice Ginsburg put a stay on the idiocy of demanding to see President Trump's financial records, records of the entire family. Heck, I never read any where that any department in the White House or any Congressional committee subpoenaed to get obamas records unsealed. Makes me wonder what they were afraid of uncovering amongst all those records of the "most transparent" President ever.

You nailed it on the guns on base issue, but a carry policy should apply to all who frequent military facilities. That means retired, reserve, DOD civilian and authorized dependents. Only restrictions should be a) have a valid state issued carry license (either state where base located or via reciprocity), b) register with the base command. There are many at risk on a base as evidenced by the PH shooting.

"December7th, 1941. A day that will live in infamy". We are being attacked from without as evidenced by the shooting at our Naval base in Florida and from WITHIN. The democratic party besides favoring killing the unborn wants to dismantle our Constitution, the office of the President and even the way we vote. The election in 2020 if won by the far left might also be called "a day of infamy' because that's when we loose our country as we know it and the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans.

Thank you Governor for once again pointing out the lunacy of national injunctions issued by district judges. Hopefully, one egregious injunction will spur the SCOTUS into a ruling restricting a district judge's injunctions to her/his district or no more than the court's circuit.
Until then enough anti-Trump judges will base their rulings not on the case but on his high school yearbook writings.

Pilot training of foreign nationals has been taking place at Pensacola NAS for many, many years. In 1980 the JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force) was formed and NCIS is one of the elements of that task force.

The FBI being called in does not necessarily mean that this recent attack WAS terrorism.....but calling in the FBI as part of the JTTF is now standard procedure in this type of incident. It is especially more effective when non-military or foreign nationals may have to be investigated.

My question, however, is this: If NCIS has the responsibility to protect the safety on our USN installations, (and in other areas) does it not seem rational and appropriate that (especially in an installation that large and diverse) that some entity (NCIS and possibly other security) should have an armed presence on that facility, and a response team in place?

Agree that areas that have signs stating them as "Gun Free Zones" is like "pointing to a sitting duck". It is stupid to advertise in this way. Gun free zone signs should include statements such as "internal security exists" or some other wording. Otherwise....the "Gun Free Zone" area sign is just basically advertising itself as an "easy target".
Perhaps "Client Gun Free Zone", "Student Gun Free Zone", "Visitor Gun Free Zone"..... or "Military Area - No Unauthorized Weapon Zone".

    Dear Governor Huckabee,
If immigration law is clear on the issue of deciding which immigrants are allowed into the country, why is there any discussion at all? I don't understand why someone can't recite the immigration law and put this issue to rest.

We allowed Admiral Yamamoto to receive some of his education and training in this country and after Pearl Harbor we put all the Japanese in concentration camps. THAT is what we should have done to the moos slimes after 911 OR deported them back to the rock they crawled out from under. BUT NO!!! NOW we have them in our government telling us how to treat them and are allowing them to change our culture and laws to suit them!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE JACKASSES AND RINOS!!!! I love my country but I fear and DO NOT RESPECT my government!!!
