NCAA SIDES WITH TRANS RIGHTS OVER WOMEN'S RIGHTS

By Mike Huckabee

The NCAA just took the side of trans rights over women’s rights, announcing that they “unequivocally” support transgender athletes, meaning letting biological males who “identify” as females compete in women’s sports. The NCAA went on to brand states that ban this as practicing “discrimination” and said they will take that into account when determining where NCAA championships are held.

So now, the NCAA has joined Major League Baseball in declaring that it has the power to determine what laws a state is allowed to pass or it will take its ball and go elsewhere. Since the NCAA has just publicly declared itself to be a leftwing political activist group rather than an neutral organization overseeing fair collegiate athletic competitions, then it’s time to treat them accordingly under the laws and form a new organization to take their place.

By the way, if you want to see how ludicrous their claim to be following “evolving science on this issue” is, click to that story and take a look at the photos of some of the “trans” athletes next to the girls half their size who are now expected to compete against them.

Redefining words

By Mike Huckabee

I’ve written many times over the years about how leftists can’t win any argument based on logic, facts, history or evidence, so they keep redefining words. Here’s the latest example: look at how President Biden and his underlings and house pets in the media are trying to redefine the word “bipartisan” so that it can apply to far-left bills jammed through Congress without a single Republican vote.

If they worked as hard at coming up with good legislation as they do coming up with ways to deny what they’re obviously doing, they might actually write a bill a few Republicans could vote for, but that’s not going to happen. Far easier just to keep channeling Lewis Carroll’s Humpty Dumpty, who said, “When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.” And we all know what happened to Humpty Dumpty.

What if no one showed up for a White Lives Matter rally?

By Mike Huckabee

To listen to Democrats these days, the biggest problem facing America is the massive rise of “white supremacists.” But what if they held a white supremacist rally and nobody came?

Well, that already sort of happened in Washington, where we were assured that rightwing extremists were planning a massive rally to overthrow the government, which is why we needed razor wire fencing around the Capitol and thousands of National Guard troops sleeping in a parking garage and eating inedible garbage. But as I predicted, the day came and went, nobody showed up and nothing happened.

Well, last Sunday, we were told that there were going to be white supremacist and neo-Nazi rallies around America, allegedly predicted from “semi-private, encrypted chats” online. Again…nothing. Oh, there were violent rallies, but not by rightwing extremists.

As the story at that link points out, NBC News “disinformation” beat reporter Brandy Zadrozny crowed that “hardly anyone showed up,” but that begs the question: Why? If the biggest threat to America are tens of millions of white supremacists, where are they? Some analysts suggested that there never were any such plans; that the alleged “encrypted chats” were just hoaxes either by pranksters or by leftists trying to whip up paranoia and scare us into giving them more power. If so, then NBC’s “disinformation” reporter was duped by disinformation.

Blogger Ann Althouse looked more closely at the “evidence” for the rally planning and found very little “there” there.

She notes that, just as in DC, when nobody showed up, it was taken as evidence that the white supremacist movement has gone underground so we need to crack down even harder. It’s convenient that it makes no difference whether the boogeymen show up by the millions or don’t appear at all, the conclusion is always the same: the left needs to be given more power to protect us from them.

Democrats have gone full-on dictator mode

By Mike Huckabee

I’m sure that when I predicted during the election that if Democrats took full power by even one vote, they’d soon be trying to force through bills to completely remake America and cement their power forever, some people thought I was being paranoid or overstating the case to fire up the GOP voting base. No, I just know these people.

And so, some Congressional Democrats have gone full-on dictator mode and today will introduce a bill to expand the Supreme Court to 13 Justices. This scheme known as “court-packing” (as usual, they’re trying to redefine the term, but we use words appropriately around here) would let them appoint four more liberal activists to the SCOTUS to outvote the current (occasionally) conservative majority.

This is such a transparent attempt at a power grab and a massive politicization of the SCOTUS that would destroy the public’s faith in its integrity that it was opposed even by fellow Democrats when FDR floated it in the 1930s. Liberal heroine Ruth Bader Ginsberg opposed it, and liberal Justice Stephen Breyer recently spoke out against it. In 1983, then-Senator Joe Biden called it “a boneheaded idea.” That's back when he could recognize those.

The bill’s sponsors, Sen. Ed Markey (Mass.), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (NY), Rep. Hank Johnson (GA) and Rep. Mondaire Jones (NY) aren’t even trying to hide behind the fig leaf of claiming the SCOTUS is overburdened and needs more Justices. They’re quite open about their nakedly political intent being to stack the Court with liberals to change its rulings.

It should be noted that when Trump was appointing Justices such as Amy Coney Barrett, he never said he was looking for conservative activists. He chose judges who respected the Constitution and the original intent of its writers, not those who advocated for their version of what it should say. That’s the opposite of what Nadler and company are seeking. They clearly want to turn the SCOTUS into an unelected super-legislature dominated by leftwing political activists.

In response, six House Republicans introduced a Constitutional Amendment reading, “The Supreme Court shall be composed of not more than nine Justices.” That's not currently in the Constitution, but it's been the number for 150 years. They say this would bring stability to the Court and take attempts to expand and pack it for political reasons off the table.

Most Constitutional Amendments are passed by starting with a two-thirds vote of both Houses of Congress, and I have no confidence that you could find that many of our current Congress members who would oppose such a terrible and tyrannical idea. There’s also the much rarer route of getting two-thirds of state legislatures to vote to ask Congress to call a national convention, but again, the ball is back in Congress’ court.

Bottom line: the best way to prevent Congress from attempting to do an end run around the Constitution with abominable ideas like Court-packing is to be a lot more careful about who we elect to Congress.

Fortunately, this bill is so over-the-top that it’s given little chance of passing. Even if it got all 50 Democrat votes in the Senate, moderate Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin has already stated that under no circumstances will he vote to end the filibuster, and there’s no way it would get 60 votes.

But it should send a chill up all Americans’ spines to think that we have elevated to power so many people who put their politics and lust for power above their sworn duty to preserve and protect the Constitution that we have ended up dependent on one Senator having the guts to prevent such a shocking assault on the rule of law.

America is still a great and exceptional nation, and one reason is because we are a nation of laws rather than a nation of power-mad men. We need to start appreciating and defending that tradition before we lose it.

Coca-cola is having second thoughts

By Mike Huckabee

For all of you who are so disheartened and think nobody cares what you think, check this out: it appears that Coca-Cola is already having second thoughts about driving away 74 million customers by putting leftist political virtue signaling over selling soda.

Keep voting with your dollars. It works!

ICYMI: MUST-READ: How we'll expose and defeat the LYING LEFT

By Mike Huckabee

In yesterday’s newsletter, we featured a letter that reflects the way many of us who favor the rule of law, conservative values and the Constitution are feeling right now. Here it is…

I agree that voters would be outraged about what the Left is doing but only if they KNOW what the Left is doing. The reason why Trump lost the last election is because so many people simply absorbed the curated media/celebrity propaganda. I currently see no reason why that would change in 2022. Most people, especially young people, just aren't paying enough attention. Your newsletter is great for those who bother to read it, but can't break through the information curtain of Big Tech and MSM.

With the bad news as relentless as it has been in recent days, many of us are naturally disheartened and have lost hope for a turnaround. Yes, it’s true that the preponderance of false media images cause poorly informed people to identify as “woke,” and that was a factor in Trump’s 2020 loss. But since then, the left have taken their effort so far, so dishonestly, and there’s been so much violence and racial unrest (urged on by white leftists), that more people than you might think are wising up.

The backlash is coming. Look for it.

I really like your writing. It's refreshing to be able to read about what's going on in the world without having to dig for the truth in every sentence of every post and news article. I still can't get over how big the blinders are on so many people. May God have mercy on us.

Thanks for keeping us enlightened.

Of course the Democrats are in full dictator mode. Their former dictator and fraud Obama is the pupetteer pulling the strings on irrelevant fraud China Joe. There is probably behind the curtain/shadows the likes of Susan Rice, Valarie Jarrett, Eric Holder and all the other frauds/domestic terrorist from the Obama era including many of the distrustful so called Intelligence agencies like the FBI, IRS, Homeland Security. It's all caving in on our nation with nothing but 100 percent support and loyalty by Democrats, the mainstream media, the phony anti-Constitutionlist- the Supreme Court, way too many traitorous Republicans. It's all caving in and sadly there seems to not be enough good men and women- because evil is prospering! Complaining about what the Democrats are doing is futile- appeasing always backfires and talk is cheap, as none of it will matter as the Democrat takeover continues. Anyone who voted Democrat voted for the destruction of our nation and the beginning of Communism-Socialism-Marxism all rolled into one equaling POWER-CONTROL & RULE over the American people. Are there enough good fighting Americans left and if so will the skeeping giant wake up before it is completely too late? Use every tool and tactic you have- your $ to stop supporting any "woke" business, canceling from Amazon and big tech companies, cancel and do not support major sports, and the list goes on and on. And keep preparing for the worse and hope for the best- keep your guns and ammo, buy more and keep planning and preparing. I am not a doomsday prepper, but even the average American who has their eyes even half open should be able to see that the Democrat dictatorship is in full steam ahead!!!

It really does send a cold shiver down my back when I hear about all the efforts the Left is making to seize power (most likely, permanently). I will certainly do all I can with my small voice to oppose all such efforts. The U.S.A. would certainly collapse and die if such an effort to pack the Supreme Court were to be successful. Our country is in desperate need of prayer!

It looks like the Left's are continuing with their scorched earth policy.
I speak to people in Europe who hope we survive. Their is a massive move against gays and blacks in Europe. I had to tell a gay friend in London what is really happening and how all civil rights groups here are Marxist to the core. A lot of good sites I referred him to
Only if the Church rises up and listens to the living God do we have any chance
It is disheartening to see the Republican Party falling apart. Many hate Trump because they had never known a real man and he exposed the king's nakedness.

    Mike,

BTW: Coca-Cola committed Treason!! They must be shut down. For all of you Confederate haters out there, Coca-Cola was invented by a Confederate Officer. Them must be shut down.

There is a lot of lip service to term limits. It will take an Amendment to the Constitution to accomplish this. An Article V Convention of States is required to get it started.

Below is a suggested Amendment to restrict member of the House.
1: (1) The qualification for Representative is that they be no less than twenty-five (25) years of age and have been a legal Citizen of the United States of America for no less than twelve (12) years. They must have been a physical resident of the State and District they will represent for no less than eight (8) years. They cannot have been convicted of a felony and must be current with their Local, State, and Federal taxes.

A Candidate for the office of Representative must publish documented proof of meeting these requirements and no personal records may be blocked from public view. The published proof of meeting the requirements will be verified and reported publicly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

    (2) The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members elected every second Year to the House of Representatives and be limited to five (5) two (2) year terms. Candidates who have completed five (5) or more terms are barred from reelection. Those already in office will continue until the end of their current term.

    (3) If a Representative is elected as a member of a political party, they must remain an active member of that party until their next election. They must display notice of their party affiliation at all times.

    (4) When a Representative retires from elected office, they must register as a Lobbyist if they reside or work within 100 miles of the Capital City of the United States.

    (5) The first and second paragraphs of Article I, Section 2 are hereby repealed upon Ratification of this Amendment. This Amendment is effective immediately upon Ratification.

It is frustrating trying to find the truth in the press. God bless you Mike and family. Now is the time for all of us to participate in the political process. I am tempted to put up signs on the front lawn but do not want my house burned down. In Phoenix, the police have been under funded for more than 20 years. We are often compared to Philadelphia. We are twice size in land area and have more population. Our police department has half the budget.

    Mr Huckabee..
I dont like correcting my elders. But are you aware of the Convention of States movement. I believe at last count we've got 15 states ratified and we've got two more extremely close to passing presently and more approaching it. South Carolina should make a decision any day now. But there is a way to reign in this Federal bureaucracy. And it's called Convention of states. Special interest and money might be able to buy off 3 or 400 DC politicians but they can't afford to buy off the thousands that run the states. And the states representatives are still very much accountable. The federal politicians have legislated any accountability for themselves out

Please continue to boycott the companies who brand you as unimportant, ignorant, etc. Your power today is in your dollar. Spend wisely. Memorial day and Fourth of July picnics can tell the big companies who spends money, sports events are not vital, support your local high school. Go back to the family roots and have a great time!! What we are seeing with these claims of White Supremacist a Neo-Nazi gatherings is simply the Blue Reich version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion .
They are intended to convince Leftists and Democrats to allow Injustice and inhumanity against those who's threaten the power base of the Reich.
Please don't say I'm trying to trivialize anything but remember the well-worn proverb:
Those who won't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. God forbid.

There is a robust grassroots effort to get a Constitutional Amendment that says: "The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine justices". This is different from the resolution introduced today by Rep. Mike Gallager which would allow the Court to be shrunk. HJR 11 was introduced January 2 and has 81 cosponsors, in addition to the lead sponsor Rep. Dusty Johnson. The same resolution (SJR 9) was introduced in Feb. by Sen. Ted Cruz and it has 17 cosponsors. The National Federation of Republican Women is strongly in support of this effort.

I know a lot of people who do not watch the news. It's about all I do keep on while I'm doing my daily chores and I do catch PBS when I know you're on. I think the reason we are not hear more people screaming their heads off at the mess the democrats are doing with our government, is because it's hard to believe that they got elected. I've never been this disgusted in my life and sometimes think the only thing that is keeping me sane, is because I live in Texas and am glad that our governor Perry is pushing back against this insane border situation. I live close enough so that I am keeping my doors locked and cautious when outdoors again.........and miserable when I hear another truckload are dumped close to my area, running from an officer who was trying to stop them.

I used to have a great deal of respect for John Boehner, but no more. I cannot believe how many GOP members have sides with the left. If they don't agree with what the GOP stands for they should join the Democrat party. I recently read a article stating that the Mediterranean diet is racists. Have you ever heard anything so stupid. I am so tired of hearing the word racists. Where does it all end?

Reference your "The NCAA just took the side of trans rights over women’s rights"...

Wonder when the NCAA will decide that “age grouping” for youth sports is discriminatory…let the games begin…17 – 18 year-olds playing in kindergarten-aged soccer matches? See how well that goes over?

    Just saying!
