April 21, 2019

From me, my staff and family, we wish you a safe and joyous Passover and Easter.  At the link is the President’s holiday message…

And while the cable news channels may fill the airwaves with yammering about nonexistent collusion and obstruction, this is the truly important news this weekend:

Matthew 27:65-66: "Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

Luke 24: 1-12: On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.  In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them,

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee:

‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”

Then they remembered His words.

When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.  It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.

Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

John 20: 16-18:  Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).

Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that He had said these things to her.

1 Corinthians 15: 3-8:  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.

After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all He appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

Matthew 28:18-20:  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Governor: your daughter is always a breath of fresh air, always composed, and always spot on. Since the left cannot find anyone to compare, she must be brought down. Those angry, nasty people who speak against Sarah are following the Alinsky rule to accuse your opponent of exactly what you are doing to draw attention away from yourself. A;; the Dems do it - not an honest one among them. She is one of the best and brightest - right up their with her father!

I agree with you that making the need for salvation known and that Jesus can meet that need is the most important news we can ever share.

Thank you for sharing the truly important news and your personal faith!
My life verse and prayer for America is...If My people who are called by my Name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear them from Heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14
In the end, nothing else really matters.

As a sinner who was doomed to hell, but saved by grace, mercy and enough love to send His only begotten son to a horrible death on the cross in order to bring me back to Himself, I owe far more than I'll ever be able to repay. I thank God His Holy Spirit came upon me and led me to accept His son as my Lord and Savior. Thank God Almighty for His grace. Our country is in such a mess now that only God can fix it and I thanl God for giving us a reprieve through Donald Trump. I know the rapture is very near and I am constantly looking up. I praise God for His letting us go on a little longerso that others may come to the saving grace of Jesus. Never in my life of 78 years have I heard so many pastors preach on the "end times". I thank God for pastors like you who are not afraid to stand up for Jesus and let the chips fall where they may. Thank you Gov. Huckabee for giving me this chance to say "THANK YOU".

My husband, a retired pastor, once preached one of the greatest Easter sermons I had ever heard entitled "Make it as Secure as You can"...based on those verses in Matthew 27:65-66. It was such a powerful message about how no power on earth (or Satan himself) could stop the plan of God for the redemption of mankind. I remember him asking rhetorically, "How do you stop an angel?" and one of our young teens shouted out, "you CAN'T!" I loved that message that reminded us of the power of the resurrection and the authority and power of our Lord.

The single most important event in history is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, none above it! The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is by far the most important historical event that ever occurred. When He came out of the tomb on Easter SundaY, it validated everything Jesus claimed about Himself. Thanks for highlighting it! THANKS. PTL!

Dearest Mr Huckabee, I love your show. The commentary's you make are so spot on. You add clarity to the news. I love that. Your show is the breathe of fresh air we have all needed for a long time. When I saw the 1st commercial I nearly fell off the chair. I knew Paul Crouch would not like that. But after listening to Matt explain why he decided on a different route and being under scored by Pastor Haggee, I understand better. I really liked Praise a Thons and set my calendar by them. I really like you too. I knew Matt and Laurie had to do some refreshing to TBN line up because we have a whole new generation coming on. Hubs and I use your show as I our date night. So Blessings to you!!
