November 2, 2020

By Mike Huckabee

"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night." More likely a bumpy week. Or...who knows? Tuesday night is probably just the beginning, even if it looks like a landslide. And we’ve got to buckle up for the ride and be prepared to handle anything.

The momentum is certainly there. President Trump is a force of nature, campaigning like a whirlwind, with FIVE rallies on Sunday alone. The new report on GDP growth is record-setting. And to cite just one example of his surging support, Trump is doing remarkably well in (among other battleground states) Pennsylvania, with the stunning news Sunday that the extremely Democrat-leaning PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE has done what they haven’t done since 1972 and endorsed the Republican for President. Naturally, they’re embarrassed and disturbed by Trump’s “unpresidential manner and character,” but he’s still the better choice, they say.

And Trump’s ability to draw crowds in Pennsylvania has knocked the socks off Democrats.

Even the lieutenant governor, a Democrat, has to give Trump credit. Look at these crowds.

But as for the voting, Pennsylvania expects 10 times more mail-in ballots to be sent in than there were in 2016, and it could take days to count them. And in spite of a Supreme Court challenge, they’ll be counting any mail-in ballot postmarked by Election Day and delivered by 5PM on November 6. The Pennsylvania secretary of state says that in prior elections, military and overseas ballots haven’t all come in before “a full week” after Election Day.

She “expects” all the votes to be counted within a matter of days. But take what she says about the time “expected” for counting votes with a grain of salt, as she is a Democrat and also said that “elections have never been called on Election Night.” Huh?

There are more reasons to be hopeful: The Biden family “business” story has taken hold in spite of --- and perhaps in part because of --- the media and Big Tech’s attempts to silence it or falsely label it “Russian disinformation.” (Incidentally, Twitter’s stock price took a huge hit this week; that may be why they finally relented and unlocked the account of the NEW YORK POST.) Especially in light of the virus that came from Wuhan, China, I don’t think most of the country wants to elect a President whose family is so eager to sell out to the Chinese --- and, of course, to give “the big guy” his 10 percent cut.

(By the way, for when you have time, here’s the latest from Andrew C. McCarthy at NATIONAL REVIEW about the Bidens’ dealings with the Chinese and why this is so very, very serious.)

More about this will have to wait till after the election. But we might see a nationwide sweep to re-elect Trump that is so decisive it overcomes even the anticipated voter fraud surrounding massive mail-in balloting. Most of the Trump-Biden polls are still so ridiculously weighted for Biden that I won’t bother you with them, but electoral maps that actually make some sense show Trump increasingly competitive in the Electoral College.

Trump’s demeanor at the rallies tells us he’s happy, expansive and confident. Contrast this with the anemic Joe Biden’s dark warnings, and you’ll find more and more people agreeing with Karen Townsend at HOT AIR.

While Democrats are sweating about Florida and Michigan, we’re starting to taste victory. But this is no time to take anything for granted, as we need to keep our heads during whatever court challenges and violence we might see in the coming days. (Thousands of lawyers are reportedly spreading out across the country to mount legal challenges.) We’ll be blamed for the chaos, even though this makes no sense.

But former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell is having none of that. His response is steady as a rock. Here's what Grenell tweeted in response to Wolf Blitzer’s lament about preparations made on Election Eve for violence: “You’ve fanned the flames for chaos, riots and vandalism. You’ve led the most vicious, negative and political attacks on the President. You fed the American public a Russian collusion lie for 4 years. Stop pretending you are now shocked.”

Here’s just a sample of what leftist protesters are planning for the coming week. Yes, PLANNING. This is all set beforehand, regardless of the vote count, and it could get very nasty.

In light of all this, what I want to preach about a little today relates to the pro-Trump caravan that surrounded a Biden-Harris bus on Saturday. Rick Moran’s excellent commentary at PJ MEDIA offers a strong rationale for the behavior we saw. Yes, everything he says about the hysterical ravings coming from the left is correct. And, yes, we’re sick of having to put up with it.

But look at how the media play it. These aren't just confident Trump supporters expressing their feelings to the people who have been lying about them and calling them “deplorables” and every other kind of name for the past four-plus years –- they're “Hitler’s brownshirts” who are “inciting violence.” The act was taken as “hostile” when it was just rowdy enthusiasm. No trace of violence was reported; there weren’t even any traffic violations. When police came to escort the bus, the caravan fell back behind it.

One approving tweet said, “This is the most badass thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Go Texas.”

Compare this with the actual violence coming from the left: Trump supporters literally being shot dead in cold blood, or beaten bloody and unconscious, or kicked right in the teeth. Plus the usual burning and looting. THAT is the kind of violence people are prepping for, Wolf Blitzer. And it’s not coming from us.

But –- and here’s where the preaching comes in –- as we start to taste victory, pray that we remain calm, steady and peaceful as we go into this coming week, whatever happens. I know Saturday was fun, and even inspiring, but it came close to crossing a line. We all know where that line is.

As the fate of our nation hangs in the balance, I’m increasingly confident about the outcome of this election. But until President Trump is safely re-elected and installed in the White House for another four years, we have to be the adults. The outcome could depend on this. Our behavior is a reflection of the candidate we support, as we respond appropriately and effectively to ANY challenge that is thrown at us in the coming days. In the words of ANCHORMAN’s Ron Burgundy, “Stay classy.”

With the high degree of class our President is displaying right now, we owe him that.

No wonder Glenn Greenwald was having a problem at THE INTERCEPT and felt he had to leave the publication he co-founded! This story illustrates the mentality that prevails there now, dating back to 2016 when Trump first ran for President.

I don't know if the "journalist" who wrote these tweets actually destroyed Trump ballots or not, but he sure seems obsessed with it, brags that he has done it and encourages others to do it. Not surprisingly, he also writes for THE NEW YORK TIMES and ATLANTIC magazine. He should face charges, but, no, he continues working in the media.

This is the first time the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has endorsed a Republican since 1972...

Why the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette endorsement is huge

If you’re going to vote in person tomorrow, be warned that at least 21 states have restrictions relating to political messages on apparel at the polls, with 15 prohibiting it. That means if you show up at the polls wearing a Trump hat, T-shirt, etc. (or a Biden face mask), you won’t be allowed in until you take it off. In some Northern states, voting shirtless might be pretty uncomfortable, and you don’t want to lose your place in line while you go home and change, so save the politically-oriented clothing for the victory party afterward.

Incidentally, the reason why I think this is mostly an issue for Trump supporters is that I have seen almost no Biden voters enthusiastic enough to wear his name on their persons. And that’s not just anecdotal: even the New York Times reported that sales of Trump merchandise to US retailers at the giant wholesale market in (ironically) China have far outstripped sales of Biden merchandise (maybe all the Biden fans are actually IN China.)

One flag salesman who supplies US retailers said, “We’ve had four or five shoppers for Trump materials each month. We’ve had one Biden shopper this year.”

That’s yet another indicator of the massive enthusiasm gap between the candidates. Trump voters will wear Trump hats and shirts even though it might make them targets for assault by unhinged leftists. Biden voters aren’t in similar danger despite the slanderous claims in the media about mythical violent Trump supporters, but they’re not even interested. Well, maybe they’ll sell better after the election, when they’re marked down 75% for clearance.

This is the kind of news that should make all Americans feel patriotic, proud and grateful, so naturally, you probably never heard a word about it in the mainstream media:

Last week, the Navy’s elite SEAL Team Six pulled off a high-risk nighttime mission in Nigeria and safely rescued American citizen Philip Walton, who was abducted from his home in Niger on October 26th. His kidnappers were believed to be part of an armed group from Nigeria that might not be terrorists themselves but are known to sell hostages to terrorists. A counterterrorism source told ABC News that all but one of Walton’s seven captors were killed, and “they were all dead before they knew what happened.”

President Trump tweeted his praise and congratulations to Seal Team Six and his celebration of “the safe return of yet another American citizen.”

If this hasn’t received the media attention it deserves, maybe it’s because (as Bronston Stocking of PJ Media notes at the link) it might remind people of SEAL Team Six’s other successful nighttime raid that took out Osama Bin Laden, the one that Joe Biden advised Obama not to approve – just one of the many good foreign policy decisions Joe’s been on the wrong side of for decades.

To listen to Joe Biden (which is not something I’d recommend unless you’re paid to do it,) 220,000 Americans have died of COVID-19, and every last death is the fault of President Trump.

That got me thinking: COVID-19 is a coronavirus, and so are all seasonal flus. Yes, this is deadlier, although now that we’ve learned more about how to deal with it, and who’s most vulnerable so that they can be protected, the death rate compared to the infection rate has plummeted. For example, according to the CDC, on April 18, there were 17,080 deaths “involving COVID-19” (that includes all other co-morbidities.) On October 24, there were 1,119, despite a big rise in positive tests.

Nobody is disputing that COVID-19 is much deadlier than the typical seasonal flu. However, that doesn’t mean seasonal flus aren’t deadly, particularly to the same people COVID-19 is most likely to kill: those with serious underlying health conditions and the elderly (especially those in New York nursing homes.) So I looked up the numbers, again from the CDC:

Since 2010, between 12,000 and 61,000 deaths per year can be blamed on the flu. Some years are much worse than others, but over the past decade, it’s averaged about 38,000 annually, depending on the strain, how well that year’s vaccine works and other factors.

That means that, on average, during the eight years that Obama and Biden were in office, 304,000 Americans died of seasonal flu. Why? Didn’t Obama and Biden care enough to prevent those people from dying of a coronavirus? If the vaccine didn’t work, then should we accuse them of incompetence or heartlessness for not coming up with one that worked fast enough?

Or should we just accept that viruses happen? They pop up and spread far and wide. That’s why a video that everyone watches is said to have “gone viral.” Some, sadly, are deadlier than others or more contagious or more resistant to vaccines, but that’s how nature works (unless the virus came out of a lab, but that’s another issue.) Nobody understands everything about viruses, and it takes time to learn enough about each new one to deal with it effectively. Even the lockdowns started as “two weeks to flatten the curve,” simply so hospitals wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the inevitable rise in cases as it spread. That was never meant to drag on for months or even years, until a cure is found.

I’m not an epidemiologist, but I do know one thing for certain: nobody ever cured a virus by pointing their finger at someone else.

Coronavirus and influenza virus are different. 20 percent of common colds are coronavirus but influenza type A and type B that infect humans. They are not related to coronavirus.

You folks do your homework above & beyond, just in case...
I just saw this on Tierney's REAL News" [link below explanation] . . .
Sidney Powell, General Flynn's attorney, just shared this article about the CIA Deep State manipulating voting systems in 2020 with a system called the HAMMER & SCORECARD just like they did in 2012 for Biden-Obama. I don't know anything about this scheme but I doubt she would share it unless it was real. Explains a lot.

"....calm, steady and peaceful...." Just a tad of 'preachin' back preacher Mike. I believe Christ loved a warrior or David would not have been a 'warrior king.' I love "calm, steady, and peaceful;" the caveat being that some whacks are not attempting to pummel me into a greasy spot. I further believe that 'We The Serfs' have turned that proverbial cheek far too often and far too long in allowing these lawless terrorists to roam, burn, and loot throughout our major cities! Too many
"peaceful" folk have died violently, and others that have 'attempted' to defend their property or lives are the people being arrested. At some point, people have to say NO MORE! I've already said it.

What I don't understand is why if the Biden bus was traveling from San Antonio to Waco why they didn't take the 130 toll road. Way,way less traffic. I35 is a total nightmare from San Antonio to Georgetown anytime day or night. Granted there is no excuse for anyone following or trying to inped the traffic anywhere or anytime, it is bad enough as it is

    U. S. Title 10 of 1956 states “Retired members of a regular component of the armed forces who are entitled to pay” are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice. This is also repeated as Article 2 in the UCMJ. Article 88 of the UCMJ also makes it a crime for “Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President,-.” Congress considered this such a serious breach of “good order and discipline” that they provided a maximum punishment of “dismissal, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and 1 year of forced confinement.”
I believe the last time a General Officer was facing possible Article 88 charges involved Maj. Gen. H. N. Campbell USAF, who had made disparaging remarks about President Clinton in 1993. General Campbell was fined $7,000.00 and forced to retire from active duty as result of the charges brought by then USAF Chief of Staff Gen. Merrill A. McPeak.
With this past experience and knowledge, it is strange that Gen. McPeak allowed emotion to overcome wisdom and committed the same crime by joining with 15 other retired 4 Star’s in an article with “highly contemptuous word against the President” and published in which included these words: “The current President has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us. ---. The president has ceded influence to a Russian adversary who puts bounties on the heads of American military personnel, and his trade war against China has only harmed America’s farmers and manufacturers.”
It is incumbent on the Secretaries of the Services, and the Military Chief’s of Staff, to now file Article 88 Charges, at a minimum, against 18 Four Star Generals, such as I did with Secretary of Defense for Gen. Mattis USMC, who breached the Law by making a “personal declaration” against the President. Additionally, two 4 Star Generals and 6 lower ranking Generals signed a Washington Post Opinion piece on June 5, 2020 that had multiple “contemptuous words against the President.”
This is not a “Political Issue”. It doesn’t matter who is the President. This is purely an issue of maintaining “Discipline within the Services”. Failure of the current DOD leaders to make an example of these 18 high rank officers, by not taking appropriate action, will make it almost impossible for a Unit Commanding Officer to file Article 90 and 91 Insubordination charges in the future, and which will have a dramatic impact on the Military Justice System for years to come. (The Secretary of Defense has had my letter charging General Mattis since September 21 and has taken no apparent action.)

In California, mail-in ballots that are postmarked on the 3rd or prior will be counted even if they arrive no later than November 20th. Yikes!

Of course with it being California, we can be extremely thankful for the Electoral College.

O'Reilly says the DNC has blackballed all the news organizations telling them NOT to air anything about Hunter & Joe - Their "business" with China. To do so would result in No Access to the President should he win. Check it out.

My brother-in-law lives in Beverton, Oregon, a suburb of Portland, in Washington County. Oregon is a “mail-in” state since 1991. As such he has been casting his ballot by mail since inception. As of Saturday, 10/31/20, he and his son had not received their ballot. They went to the local voting “office” arriving at one PM. The employee was just locking the door. While trying to find someone, a lady was there trying to check why her ballot had not arrived.
Finally, they were allowed in. After some discussion, the representative found their ballot(s). While claiming the ballot had been mailed and returned, that had not been the case for it was sitting there on the desk with no USPS return comments! The address was correct even though the employee tried to say the ballots had been sent to 185th instead of 160th. They were able to retrieve their ballot and vote, placing in the mail on Sunday 11/1/2020.
What does this tell you about the Oregon mail-in voter program? With only a day before final voting, this needs to be out there to the public!
You may contact my brother-in-law directly to verify the above. His phone number is503-6XX-XXXX. His name is Jerry, but he does not want his name out there for obvious reasons. If you call him to verify you can ask him about his name and he will tell you his reasons.
Composed by V. Leroy Chaussé. Minot, ND, with Jerry’s approval.
I've removed his phone #. Contact me for that. It is not to be shared with any of the public. I've tried to send a message to Tucker, Lou and some others, but I'm unable to find any access. Maybe you can do that.
