True to their word, several House Democrats have introduced a resolution to pass a Constitutional Amendment to abolish the Electoral College and elect the President by national popular vote. Because unlike in previous times, New York, Montana, Minnesota, Alabama and Texas are all exactly the same now.

The chances of this passing are pretty slim, since it would require a two-thirds vote in both Houses of Congress, then ratification by three-fourths of the states (38 out of 50, or however many states there are after the Democrats get through transforming America.) I would hope that there aren’t that many states that would willingly give away their say over who becomes President to a handful of highly populated states like California, New York, Texas and Florida.

But I did want you to be aware of this, and also share their argument for why the Electoral College is obsolete. I think you’ll find it to be one of the funniest things you’ll hear all day:

“The development of mass media and the Internet has made information about Presidential candidates easily accessible to United States citizens across the country and around the world.”

I don’t think this is a very good time to claim that we can depend on the Internet to provide a free and nonpartisan flow of information about politics. Ask all the Biden voters who somehow never heard about Hunter’s laptop. Or the millions of former Parler users.

We need to keep the electoral college vote. It's in the constitution for a reason. We dont want one group, like the Gop or the Dems to have a monopoly on who is going to be our Presient every yrs. Dems or Gop. Keep it.

Come on, really? We have some 70+Million Trump supporters, Black, White,Hispanic&Asian. We have a voice, why aren’t we using it? Why do the democrat traitors get literally, away with murder while we sit quietly, show dignity&respect to traitors while they “transform” America into a 3rd world ??hole as promised? A revisit to the electorial college would be that each state divide their votes by percentage like a couple others do allready. That is the only way we will all be represented under the current system. For us in GA. the entire state will now be controled by 3-4 hot spots of congested population, Atlanta, Savanna, Columbus and of courst Athens where the college "children" are. The same has happened to almost every state. The big cities are controlling the entire state and now soon, the whole country. We still need the electroial college but it does need to reflect the whole population of the country not just the big cities. My husband was union when he worked and they always went Dem and they did not represent him or many others who were not. That is why we feel our governement is no longer representing all of us and why President Trump made so much of an enroad into the "forgotten" millions. We are not being represented in our government and now are less welcome in our country than any foriegn invaders, illegals or even criminals are.

Here's one for you Mike. Why was it okay for the DOJ & FBI to expose their cases on both Trump & Clinton during the 2016 election but, it wasn't okay to expose the investigation into Hunter Biden. No one is asking this question of them. Well I & many others are but, since most of us are suspended from Twitter we can't get our message heard by "our" government. Which has shown it has little regard for the will of the people & only care about protecting reputations of it's own corrupt agents & corrupt politicians.

The actions by those Dems is a direct attack on the U.S. Constitution, and an attempt to give election benefit to States with larger populations....taking away any competition from smaller, less populated States.

Just for an example... Why not give every state just 1 vote. 1 vote per state . That would be fair.

There will need to be a massive educational campaign. So many people do not know how our government works..especially the Electoral College. The Democrats are good at getting out the vote!

My husband and I watch you every Sunday! We appreciate you and the variety you do on your show. Your guests have uplifted us when we would not even know how much of God’s work is going on if not for your show. Love the stories of all. I was amazed that CO voters actually voted for their electors to vote for the candidate with the most votes, I think it was by 52%, regardless of how Coloradans voted. It is mind boggling. But CO has turned blue, so, go figure. It just doesn't make sense no matter who you are (if you have common sense and critical thinking.)
