BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

Cancelled

By Mike Huckabee

Fox Business News announced that it was cancelling its highest-rated show, “Lou Dobbs Tonight.” The network said it was part of programming changes that are “regularly weighed” and was a planned post-election change. However, speculation is rampant that they were distancing themselves from Dobbs after he was named in a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit by the voting technology company Smartmatic over claims of 2020 election fraud.

And for the record: no, I have no inside information on what happened. But I wish Dobbs the best and assume he will soon be back on some other media outlet.

The Ship Is Sinking

By Mike Huckabee

Another of our moral superiors from the slanderously-misnamed “Lincoln Project” has abandoned the sinking, rat-infested ship

This is what pulled the plug

As they turn on each other, let me remind you that even liberals long ago blasted them as grifters, although it would have been nice if someone had also spoken up earlier about the alleged pedophilia.

Bombshells

By Mike Huckabee

Two bombshell pieces of news struck the country music world at once this week. A rising star found himself “canceled” by radio, his record label and the ACM Awards after video emerged of him drunkenly using a racial slur, while another rising country performer came out as gay. Personally, I miss Don Williams.

Hot mic

By Mike Huckabee

Here’s why politicians should remember when they’re wearing microphones: Rep. Steve Cohen and other House Judiciary Committee Democrats were overheard ridiculing Rep. Matt Gaetz’s proposal to say the Pledge of Allegiance before hearings. Cohen mocked people who have flags at their homes and say the Pledge. There were also some snarky comments about people who get on their knees and pray. Funny, I’d suggest Rep. Cohen do a lot more of that.

"America Is Back?"

By Mike Huckabee

After issuing 40 executive orders that will weaken America’s borders, undermine America’s economy, take away Americans’ freedoms, destroy Americans’ jobs and empower America’s enemies, President Biden declared that “America is back!” Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had an excellent follow-up question to that.

My question would be, “Do you mean America is in the back of the line? Because after Trump put America first, that’s where you seem intent on putting it.”

Ken Starr Weighs In On Second Impeachment

By Mike Huckabee

Former appellate judge and US Solicitor General Ken Starr denounced the upcoming Senate impeachment trial of former President Trump as “a flagrant violation of the text, structure and history of our Constitution,” as well as historical precedents, such as the way talk of impeaching of Richard Nixon immediately ended when he resigned.

Noting that all Senators (believe it or not) take an oath to defend and support the Constitution, Starr urged them to, for once, leave “politics at the bloody door” and drop this before they establish a pernicious precedent that will open up all former officials to being “impeached” for political reasons.

Starr also suggested that Senators write a letter to Chief Justice John Roberts, asking him to explain his decision to refuse to preside over the trial, since the Constitution requires that in real impeachments of Presidents. Roberts declined to preside or to explain why. Starr thinks Roberts knows this farce is unconstitutional and it would kill it quickly if he’d just say so.

All I can say is, “He wants Chief Justice John Roberts to actually say that something is unconstitutional? Doesn’t he know Justice Roberts thinks that’s not his job?”

Stop Doing Nothing

By Mike Huckabee

I know I’m getting a lot of flak in the comments for telling Republicans to knock off the suicidal third party talk and the despondency and the “I’ll vote Democrat just to show how mad I am at the Republicans” nonsense. I know that a lot of people are feeling that, and here are the numbers to prove it.

Look, if you want to cut off your nose to spite your face, do it with a pair of scissors, not by voting Democrat. That will make the entire country bleed.

Taking your ball and going home literally means you let the other side win by default. The Republicans have an excellent chance of retaking both the House and Senate in 2022 and stopping this full-scale assault on our rights, freedoms, security and economy, but not if we don’t show up to vote. And I mean vote for a major party that actually has a chance of winning, not a splinter party that just splits the conservative vote and elects the left with a plurality. Republicans in Georgia didn’t show up for the runoffs in the same numbers as they did in November, and that gave us two of the most radical Senators in history and a tied Senate controlled by Kamala Harris.

I’m sorry if you don’t like me telling you the truth, but there are any number of media outlets that tell people only what they want to hear, regardless of reality. Here are some cold facts: If you claim to be a conservative yet you vote to empower leftists, you’re not a conservative. As for just sitting out future elections, I’ll remind you of the wisdom attributed to Edmund Burke:

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Latest Jobs Report

By Mike Huckabee

The latest government jobs report shows that due to the endless pandemic lockdowns, only 49,000 jobs were created in January. The unemployment rate dropped from 6.7 to 6.3%, but only because of people being so discouraged that they dropped out of the job market and stopped looking for work.

Meanwhile, President Biden is issuing one executive order after another that seem to indicate he’s more interested in destroying jobs than in creating them. As this post at Instapundit makes clear, Biden knows that workers are struggling, but he still plans to legalize 11 million illegal immigrants and open up the borders anyway. I like the question at the end of this post. My answer: “Heck, yes!”

Democrats’ New Definition of “Terrorist”

By Mike Huckabee

Anyone who voted for Trump or who expresses doubts about the 2020 election: “Terrorists.”

Members of Yemen’s Iran-backed militia: “Not terrorists.”

Hold Democrats To The Same Standard

By Mike Huckabee

I mentioned yesterday that if Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is to be stripped of her committee assignments, then it’s only fair that Democrats be held to the same standard. So thanks to Matt Margois at PJ Media for compiling a list of them.

Closing down US oil/gas production is supposed to reduce "climate change". Is there any evidence that will happen? Why should it, when other countries will likely make up for our reduction.

Interesting articles. A few points. It appears we have two opposing Constitutions. The blue states use the Soviet/CCP one. The red states use the real one we have lived under for over 200years.
The blues are on a headlong rush to destroy all. The deaths of a few million mean nothing to them.
Their working points are anti-God and anti-Christian. Marx's reason for writing the Communist Manifesto!
A good sign is laypeople are bringing the Gospel to hungry people. The self proclaimed religious leaders have already shown " the Emperor has no clothes."

It's not "gay" Mike, the Bible calls it for what it is. Homosexual. As a pastor, let's not go PC on Scriptural terms and water them down. My issues of anger and pride (to name a few) are not called emotional discrepancies or character deficiencies in the Bible. If we put powered sugar on sin...it's still sin.

    Mike,
I hear all this talk of how we can or will take control on the upcoming elections. The fight is now and if the GOP and conservative folks don't understand that then all is lost. Just like the Newsweek article eluded to, this is an all in move by the radical left. Elections won't matter only who counts them as the saying goes. The cancel culture, big tech, MSM and the administration purging the military of people not beholden to the left will be gone. If folks don't realize this and act now then they either need to leave the country or relegate themselves to be servants of the coming Oligarchy. Their actions are easy to read, especially for those that have studied history

Question for those advocating a third party candidate: does the name Ross Perot bring back bad election result memories? It should.

Referring to Stop Doing Nothing - Is it possible voters did not vote because they think Republicans did nothing to stop voting fraud, (proving votes do not matter)?
Perhaps a feeling of helplessness is demonstrated by not voting in rigged elections. I do not know the answer and this is a serious question. For myself, I vote and pray - knowing only one activity is not rigged but cannot be supported without performing the other.

I have always appreciated your 'take' on the news of the day, and the humor that you inject into the discussion; however, I am starting to be annoyed by the constant drumming and pounding that you convey upon the people sympathetic to a third party. Your responses seem to be out of your normal character, and I believe it is out of fear that the thought will gain traction and truly split the conservative vote, granting the win to the democrats. I get it --- I really do. We do not want that to happen either. But I believe that there is so much evil within both parties that the only way to effect the changes within the Republican Party, is to first deal with the Election fraud, which you appear to 'sort of' dismiss as not terribly important. I am starting to believe that when all of the investigations are completed we will learn that the VOTER fraud is attributed to the Democrats, but the ELECTION fraud is attributed to the Republicans. My sense is that this is why the Republicans are very reticent to have anyone look too deeply into the reported voting machine and software glitches. I believe the Legacy Republicans were as anxious to get rid of Trump as the Democrats were, and are perfectly fine with their 'base' blaming the Democrats for it.

While I have always believed as you do in a third party being a 'suicide pact', for the first time I feel that the numbers could be convincingly strong enough to succeed. However, I believe that your view would have a greater impact on those of us that feel this way, if you would focus your large megaphone in the direction of supporting the pursuit of justice relative to ELECTION fraud even if it impacts some legacy Republicans as I suspect that it would.

Keep up the great work. I appreciate you "listening to the news so we don't have to"...but we are fully engaged anyway.

Smartmatic won't take this to court. They would have to prove they were legit. And they can't. To much proof would come forward showing how they allowed China and several other countries to swap votes. Our election was rigged. Thank you for your faith and truth. I watch your show. So refreshing to watch a Christian based show.

Governor, I fully understand where you come from. But please be also fair to those who voted R because of former President Trump's work and understand their disappointment the way leading Republican threat him. (eg The Michigan Supreme Court, in a 4-3 decision, denied requests from two voters who backed President Donald Trump and sought an election audit and other actions to address alleged fraud related to absentee ballots. Republican nominee Elizabeth Clement was decider in denying the requested actions without first hearing oral arguments.) Why should I vote in an election if there is no evidence that voting machines work properly?

Mike people leaving the GOP is for one reason only : the Establishment are not fighting like Trump did. Period. WE WANT FIGHTERS or our Republic is dead.
