1. DAILY BIBLE VERSE

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil [a]treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Luke 6:45

2. "Disinformation"? Hillary is a superspreader

All right, let's talk "disinformation" with Alejandro Mayorkas.

Come to think of it, after Sen. Rand Paul skinned, gutted and fileted Mayorkas on the subject this week during a hearing before the Senate Homeland Security Committee –- a brilliant, total take-down –- he probably doesn’t want to.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rand-paul-grills-mayorkas-disinformation-board

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2022/05/04/rand_paul_to_mayorkas_on_dhs_info_board_we_cant_even_agree_on_what_disinformation_is.html

But we’re going to talk about it whether Mayorkas, head of the Department of Homeland Security, wants to or not, and we’d like to submit a prime example. This is Exhibit A, a piece of actual disinformation that Mayorkas’ unconstitutional new “Disinformation Governance Board,” which we prefer to call the DHS Ministry Of Truth, would never bother to correct. In fact, they’d probably insist it WAS correct, even though it’s fake through and through. I refer to the preposterous lie that Donald Trump was in cahoots with Vladimir Putin to get himself elected President.

As special counsel John Durham continues looking into the origins of the Russia Hoax during the 2016 presidential campaign, one experienced onlooker, retired Assistant Director for Intelligence for the FBI Kevin Brock, says he’s convinced that Hillary’s campaign used “contrived disinformation” in 2016 to try to mislead Americans into thinking then-candidate Donald Trump was a Russian asset. Of course, this strategy continued after he was elected President. Some Kool-Aid drinkers STILL believe it. And Hillary herself is currently accusing the “deplorables” of spreading disinformation when SHE is the walking, talking superspreader event of all time.

If only a simple face mask could stop this infection.

Brock appeared Wednesday on the Just the News program “Just the News, Not Noise” to say that this was more than political dirty tricks. “Political dirty tricks usually have some basis in truth,” he said. “But they just made stuff up.” He’s impressed with the way Durham’s court filings have exposed this in the case being made against Perkins Coie attorney Michael Sussmann, who is charged with lying to the FBI about “not” bringing them the Alfa Bank story on behalf of any client. In Brock’s opinion, the American people were deceived and defrauded.

Department of Homeland Security Mayorkas might want to listen to Brock if he wants to know how “disinformation” SHOULD be uncovered and dealt with in a free society. “This [the court case] is the way disinformation is really exposed, not by some contrived government agency, but by evidence presented in court that gets to the truth of what really happened,” Brock said. “What Durham is methodically doing is laying out a case that the Hillary Clinton campaign, the Democrat Party, used contrived information in a conspiracy, in a conspiratorial way, to deceive the American voter ahead of the election.”

This conspiracy is what Durham in his motions has been calling the “joint venture.” It involved pushing the narrative to the FBI, the CIA, the State Department and, of course, the news media, who were only too happy to oblige. The same media that made up reasons for rejecting and even censoring the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 went crazy with the Trump-Russia story in 2016, even with no verification of its claims, and with some reporters seeing through least one of those claims as “bull----.”

“This is much more than an attorney for the Clinton campaign lying to the FBI,” Brock said. “He is using this charge to expose a larger story, a larger narrative.”

So, in 2016, we had the deliberate spread of disinformation by the Democrats to sway an election. And in 2020, we had the deliberate censorship of REAL information (from Hunter’s laptop), again by the Democrats, to sway an election. Does anyone think the new head of the DHS Ministry Of Truth, the supercalifragilisticexpial-atrocious Nina Jankowicz, would have done anything to stop either of these activities? More likely, this partisan zealot would be assisting the Democrats in every way possible. And I would contend that's why she's in that job. That IS the job.

Brock nails one obvious problem with this board (besides the blatant unconstitutionality) when he says, “I think that disinformation is in the eye of the beholder. I think most people suspect that all of this disinformation will be information promulgated by one political party rather than the other. And so the danger of a governance board like this is that it will be beholden to the party that’s in power in government at that time to silence or mute opposition viewpoints.” No kidding.

Finally, speaking of disinformation, I’ll leave you with this story about the left’s concerted attack on Elon Musk using...(say it with me) disinformation. And who’s behind it? Look at the names of the organizations involved here, and it’s easy to trace this back to George Soros and President Obama, among others. Get a load of this toxic treatise directed to Twitter’s advertisers. Do you think the DHS Ministry Of Truth would ever correct this? We don’t, either.

3. MAILBAG --- All is lost without honest elections

From Guy, on Substack:

Thanks for your review of arguments against the possible Roe decision and the many other issues that we face prior to the November election. One item was however left out of the discussion which I believe is the most important of all.

We have already had a major election stolen (pardon me, but the sum of irregularities never adequately addressed in 2020 make this irrefutable), and now this issue has all but been eliminated from the rhetoric. Many folks are implying there will be a Republican "landslide" and rightly warn against complacency among voters, but unless the focus is on an honest election, including tactics, funding, voter ID, absentee balloting, ballot harvesting, poll watching, vote counting, etc., we have no reason to expect a different outcome than in 2020.

The liberal/Democratic machine (I was raised in Chicago) has had decades to perfect their "craft" and I have heard of little done legally to counter their efforts. If our only hope is that "overwhelming conservative Republican voter turnout" will save the day, I think we are misjudging the extent of corruption that has infiltrated the political process.

………………...

Thanks, Guy. You’re right that if any one consideration is the most important of all, it would have to be honest elections, because without them, we don’t have a republic any longer. (We’d say free speech is up there, too, and it’s also under a coordinated assault.) But have you been reading the newsletter very long? We’ve focused on this intently ever since the night of the 2020 election, when election counts were halted and Republican poll watchers were prevented from observing.

Just a few days ago, in fact, we took aim at Marc Elias for what he has done –- and is still doing –- to destroy honest, transparent elections in this country. We’ve warned that the Democrats will create some new crisis to make sure mail-in ballots are again in wide use, with minimal signature matching and ID requirements. We’ve kept up with investigations into voter fraud in states such as Wisconsin (ballot harvesting in nursing homes) and Arizona. We’ve promoted the new documentary film 2,000 MULES, which details the strategy for stuffing dropboxes in Maricopa County. We’ve looked at Mark Zuckerberg and the hundreds of thousands of dollars he gave to the Center for Tech and Civic Life to pay for unsupervised dropboxes in specified locations. We’ve looked at how social media censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story functioned as de facto election interference. We’ve called repeatedly on Republicans to get involved as election workers and poll watchers as never before. There’s no way we’ll let this subject drop.

The mainstream media certainly are, as you say, trying to eliminate this issue from the rhetoric. (As of this week, it’s going to be “all abortion rights, all the time,” for as long as they think that will help them.) But we’ve been relentless in keeping the dangers at the forefront, both for the midterms and for 2024. That’s why we’re featuring your letter, Guy –- to remind readers once again.

To those Democrats who have cheated and will try again: Win by cheating once, shame on you. Win by cheating twice, shame on us, for failing to stop it.

4. Women not men

Funny how it’s taken the possibility of Roe v. Wade being overturned to make liberals suddenly care about “women’s rights” again and remember that it’s women who get pregnant, not men.

5. May Day in Cuba

Sunday was May Day, which is celebrated in communist regimes as “International Workers Day,” when the government celebrates the workers it oppresses. That irony is hardly lost on the unfortunate citizens of Cuba, who were forced to “celebrate” their oppressors this past weekend. But despite the risk of speaking out, dissidents are getting bolder, and the “celebration” was dotted with signs and T-shirts bearing the acronym “DPEPDPE.”

I can’t tell you what that stands for here, because the language and message are rather profane. Click this link for a translation and explanation, but I warn you, the language is not for young eyes or ears. But I’m sure you’ll agree with the message.

6. Comedian Dave Chappelle attacked on stage

This week, comedian Dave Chappelle was performing at the Hollywood Bowl when a man came out of the audience and attempted to tackle him (no, it wasn’t Will Smith.)

https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/dave-chappelle-attacked-on-stage-hollywood-bowl-los-angeles

Chappelle had recently beefed up his security because of threats from the woke mob over jokes he told about the trans community. It’s not clear what set off this attack or who the man was, but security quickly dragged him away. It was reported that at least 10 people pummeled him before security could get him away and turn him over to police.

I was afraid that this is what would come of the threats against comedians. Now, comedy clubs will have to increase security, but I hope it doesn’t intimidate comics into keeping silent about ridiculous things that it’s their job to point out. As for those who are thinking of launching copycat attacks, while I would never condone violence as a solution, I will just point out once again that this jerk was punched by at least 10 people before he was safely taken into custody by police to face charges. I think comedy fans may have had about enough of this.

7. The “Trump of South America”

Here's another reason why Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is called the “Trump of South America”: he’s a master Twitter troll. When actor/green activist Leonardo DeCaprio tweeted from his 315-foot superyacht to Brazilian youth to get them to register to vote for his climate change agenda, Bolsonaro cheerfully responded, and it’s hilarious.

"....honest elections, because without them, we don’t have a republic any longer." With the possible exceptions of GA and FL, I don't see where many states are DOING ANYTHING about securing the election process. As noted, ANY state allowing willy-nilly mail-in voting sans VERIFICATION is CHEATING! Also, there yet seems to be NO WAY to securely control THE MACHINES? How many states will continue to allow "voting" past election day, VERIFIED absentee ballots excepted, or accept ballots posted late? Have "drop boxes" been eliminated? I have no confidence that our elections will be above board legal if we do not return to the paper ballot ONLY system, voter ID certified, and absentee ballots completely authenticated, no programmable counting machines involved!

Lastly Mike, I already believe, sadly, that "we don’t have a republic any longer." Probably beginning as far back as when 0le Honest Abe suspended Habeas Corpus! YMMV ;)

Dear Mike, in regards to Guys letter on substack, I believe you may have missed his point....while you agree and bring up the inconsistencies of the 2020 election-you also say theres nothing we can do about it! I call that BS! It's pretty much proven the election was fraud and illegal-exactly why should they be allowed to get away with this???!!! They should be prosecuted for treason and the election either redone or accepted with corrected vote certification in each state. It shouldn't matter that there isnt a precedent for such things, we live in unprecedented times! And we should not give up til this is done!

"There’s no way we’ll let this subject drop."

Without some form of tangible, actual, real, lasting consequence for committing election fraud it doesn't matter how much anyone harps on any subject. It will never change.

Would a thief ever stop stealing if he never had to go to jail? If he never had to give the stolen goods back? If he was never subject to even the least bit of criticism? All the "watchdog groups" and "sternly worded letters from GOP officials" on the planet isn't going to help if there are no consequences. And it seems to me like if the system is perpetually and forever "rigged" in favor of the Left (and perpetually and forever insulated by do-nothing RINOs who are content to compromise and surrender the nation into a Marxist imitation of the CCP, because "muh moral high-ground") then the only "consequence" left to the disenfranchised half of the nation is to take a leaf out of Antifa's book.

Conservatives were just labeled as "the most extreme party in history" by the Commander in Chief (you know, the guy with the nukes and F-16s) after all. And that's after being labeled "domestic terrorist" by DHS and "spreaders of disinformation" by Fraulein Jankowicz Supreme Arbiter at the Ministry of Truth, all the while the "Handmaidens Tale Jackboots" who don't even know how to define "woman" threaten and dox judges (and little Catholic grannies at mass) as various other completely lawless lefties threaten a redux of the 2020 "summer of love"... as they do whenever they don't get their way (while "muh January 6th! Insurrection! Worse than Pearl Harbor!" scream the Leftists).

So...What, exactly, is my motivation to want to share the same continent with these people? Because I don't want to share the same continent as these psychopathic, authoritarian, elitist hypocritical people, much less the same nation. "Voting them out" isn't enough, anymore. The Left has proven quite plainly that they will NEVER accept anything other than total power and control over the entire populace. And if they can't get their way within the bounds of laws and legal elections then they'll get their way through coercion, violence, subversion, threats, and the rest of Alinsky's little handbook.

You tell me where that ends. Because it only ends in one of two ways.

    Governor:
People like Hannity are always saying the rank and file FBI, CIA, and DOJ employees are just hard working honest Americans. It's the leaders that are corrupt.

If that's really true, where are all the whistle-blowers flocking to Durham to bring out the truth? I suspect these organizations are corrupt top to bottom.

    Dear Gov. Huckabee:

I supported President Trump twice at the voting booth, but I have a question about presidential endorsements. Is it ethical for former presidents to endorse candidates, when the President is in office, and after the President leaves office? It's starting to feel like President Trump is holding too much power in state elections.

A couple weeks ago, Don Jr. talked his father into endorsing JD Vance for Ohio US Senate to replace Rob Portman. This knocked our favorite pro-life, pro-family candidate Josh Mandel off of first place and cost him the election at the last minute. Even Gen. Michael Flynn and US Senator Ted Cruz, who campaigned at fundraiser banquets diligently, couldn't save Josh Mandel from the Trump Family endorsement.

It's starting to feel like Don Trump Jr. is pushing far left, liberal candidates who are buddies of Peter Thiel (who is married to a man) just to keep the balance of power in the US Senate. JD Vance was also partners with Eric Schmidt of Google and Jeff Bezos of Amazon a couple years ago -- two of the biggest censors of Christian conservative public speech.

Shouldn't Ohioans have the right to choose their candidates? I'm starting to feel that our favorite president Donald J. Trump has crossed a red line, and it's now become "We the Trump Family, by the Trump Family, and for the Trump Family," rather than "We the People, by the People, and for the People."

Is it ethical or even an abuse of power to sway elections like this when there are people all across America who would mindlessly following Donald Trump off a cliff if he said "jump"? Was that really a free and fair election in Ohio on May 3? Trump's endorsement was the only way JD Vance would have ever gotten near Washington DC as an Ohio candidate.

Why would Christian conservative Ohioans go out and support any candidates in the future if the Trump Family can sucker punch us, or cut us off at the knees, right before an election like that?

Very disappointed conservative Christian in Ohio.
