Today's Edition: 6 minute read

--------------------------

It was great fun going on JUSTICE WITH JUDGE JEANINE (as in Pirro) this weekend to talk with her and fellow guest Dan Bongino about last week’s twin disasters: 1) Mueller’s disconnected testimony, and 2) Jerrold Nadler’s surreal press conference afterwards.

As for the Mueller hearings that took place on Wednesday, I had to say that if the Democrats thought they were going to “put a movie to the book” that was the special counsel report, that movie turned out to be WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S. We could all laugh because we'd seen for ourselves that there was very little brain activity on Mueller’s part --- just enough to make sure that any questions about the Steele dossier and the FBI’s activities were not answered. Staying away from what was NOT supposed to be answered seemed to be Mueller's most important consideration.

As lost as he appeared at times, Mueller was consistent in one thing: he just would not “go there.” In fact, he simply refused to answer over a hundred questions. I didn’t even know a witness could do that --- pick and choose the questions to answer and not to answer. You’re supposed to either answer every question or take the Fifth Amendment on everything. Say, who’s obstructing justice around here?

FEATURED STORIES

Twin shootings

By Mike Huckabee

There were two shootings over the weekend on opposite ends of the nation.  Sunday night at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Northern California, a man cut through the fence and opened fire on the crowd, injuring fifteen people and killing three, including a six-year-old boy.  Police quickly reacted and fatally shot the assailant.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/gilroy-garlic-festival-shooting-3-dead-gunman-killed

This happened just 24 hours after a gunman opened fire at a community event in Brooklyn, killing one man and injuring 11 other people before fleeing.  At this writing, the suspect is still at large.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/shooting-at-block-party-leaves-11-injured-one-dead

In both cases, Democratic politicians, particularly Presidential candidates, almost immediately called for more gun laws, without yet knowing whether they would have made any difference, and without regard to the fact that these shootings happened in two of the most liberal states with some of the strictest gun laws in America. A number also condemned as useless the offering of prayers for the victims.

I’m going to go ahead and pray for the victims anyway, and I hope you will, too.  I believe in the power of prayer, and I think I have more reason to believe in that than they have for what they believe is the solution to such atrocities.

"Gender neutral" bathrooms

By Mike Huckabee

The Governor of Illinois just signed a bill to make all single-occupancy bathrooms in public buildings “gender-neutral” as of January 1, 2020.

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/455029-illinois-officially-passes-bill-requiring-all-single-bathrooms-be

I’ve written a lot about how “trans rights” have shoved women’s rights to the end of the line, in everything from privacy rights to sports.  You might think this one won’t matter because they’re single occupancy bathrooms, right?  Well, women, think about it: have you ever seen the condition that men leave public bathrooms in and thought, “Thank goodness I don’t have to use the men’s bathroom!”  Well, in Illinois, now they’ll all be that way.  You might want to start carrying rubber gloves and disinfectant in your purse.

NYC arrests made

By Mike Huckabee

Here’s a little good news: New York City Police have made several arrests in that disgusting, caught-on-video attack last week in which officers were cursed, taunted and soaked with water as they restrained themselves from acting.

https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/trump-shames-nypd-abusers-twitter-police-arrest-multiple-men-connection-viral-attacks/

This was taken by many, including President Trump on Twitter, as an indication of just how worm-infested the Big Apple has become (can I say the word “infested,” or is that racist now in all contexts?) since Bill DeBlasio took over as Mayor.  DeBlasio was, of course, outraged, and insulted Trump on Twitter, because insulting people on Twitter is just not something that anyone should do who deserves to be President, right?

DeBlasio has brought back the “hands-off, don’t prosecute the small crimes” idiocy that helped create the mess Rudy Giuliani had to turn around, and that we’re seeing instituted all across America, thanks to the election of “progressive” DA’s in one-party, low-turnout primaries targeted by far-left groups.

By the way, Rudy agrees:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/giuliani-shreds-de-blasio-after-nypd-cops-doused-with-water-hes-a-disgrace

I’m used to seeing Democrats blame President Trump for everything from illegal immigration to their own psychological problems, but if thugs in New York no longer respect the police, I hardly think that Bill DeBlasio can lay that on the doorstep of Donald Trump.

You know Rep. Jerry Nadler’s impeachment case against President Trump is on shaky ground when even CNN’s Jake Tapper explains to him that the Mueller quote he’s basing it on was retracted by Mueller himself on national TV.  This is worth reading all the way through because if you get deep enough, it’s one of the funniest exchanges of baffling doubletalk since the early seasons of “MASH” were on TV.

Proof the World Is Going Mad: Schools in Victoria, Australia, are introducing a program on “sexual consent” to young children that uses a “sloppy kiss from grandma” as an example of behavior that should require consent.  I assume that your aunt’s cheek pinches and your uncle’s knock-knock jokes would also be classified as “torture” now.

In case you missed “Face The Nation” Sunday, Democratic Presidential hopeful Julian Castro was asked why he supported and praised border policies under Obama that he’s now fiercely attacking under Trump.  Watch him explain how the two are different.  They aren’t, except that Trump is now President – and that makes the identical policies completely different.

As of right now....7-29-19 at 4:45 PM CST, I find it interesting that this particular news article does not appear in ANY mainstream media in the USA....received it from "Virtual Jerusalem. Regard the FAILURE of reporting this as perhaps an indication of "anti-Setism by omission"???
BREAKING: Jewish man shot outside synagogue in Florida

"INN - A Jewish Orthodox man was shot on Sunday evening outside a synagogue near North Miami Beach, WPLG Local 10 reported.

The man was outside the Young Israel of North Miami Beach in unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Witnesses told police officers the shooter was in a moving dark car.
The 69-year-old man was shot at least six times in the leg, was taken to Aventura Medical Center, and is in stable condition, according to Miami-Dade police.
A volunteer of Hatzolah, a non-profit emergency medical service organization that services Jewish communities around the world, was at the synagogue and was able to help the victim, according to the report.
The motive behind the shooting is not yet clear, but Miami-Dade Police Department detectives are investigating the shooting as a possible hate crime, reported WPLG Local 10.
The victim was reportedly waiting for Mincha, the afternoon prayer service, when the incident occurred."
    .....................
The main stream media is focused more on anti-conservative, anti-Trump, and even articles skewed to show Christians in a bad light....and so much violence, hatred, crimes....all iver the world.... Makes me wonder about "end times" prophecies.

Re. New York: You wouldn't say of your kids that just because they've never murdered someone that they are good kids. If you allow them to be disrespectful to people (any people) then they are bad kids and you are a bad parent.

Yeah, I'm with commenter Christine. I want to see your evidence that men are worse than women in how they leave a public restroom. I was "head man" as part of my duties at a summer camp and two service stations in my early years and it was pretty consistent to me that women's rooms were more likely to be found in a state of clutter and filth than men's rooms.

I am now convinced that Gov. Pritzker and Mike Madigan are intent on making Illinois the worst, most immoral state in the union. I have lived in this state since 1952 and it has done nothing but get worse. I am concerned that my GRANDS must work and obey these rules. It is not right and I am ashamed of this state, it's governor and mostly Democrats who run roughshod over the citizens and the Republicans in the state capital and in the state. Sometimes it actually seems as if the devil has won in this state. However, I know that God is almighty and the devil isn't. I'll keep praying about this and other things until I die.

Just curious how some group of people, a.k.a. thugs, would be treated if they staked out some place De Blasicko would be coming out of and dumped bucketsful of water on his head, including his cadre of 'bodyguards?'

I only felt so very sad for Mueller and what he had to go through for the stupidity of those Democrats who thought they were proving that Pres Trump was backed by Russians. Gov please tell me of one person that was arrested by Mueller for actually they were working with the Russians to make Trump Pres? Yes, the Pres had every right to stand his ground and if this was a total scam lies set up per this Dossier and maybe Hillary and group and even the FBI really how terrible for all of us. By what I now understand and see no Russians that lost this campaign for Hillary but the DNC own stupidity. Just go and see Van Jones special he did after the election and he saw how she lost no Russians sorry. How did she lose the first time to Pres Obama not per any Russians. Nadler, Schiff and others have tried to make this work and say he Pres Trump was involved and used the Russians to be President NO Way Jose! Feel sad and pray for Mueller who appears not well. Stop this Democrats STOP.

On the subject of the bathrooms: As a woman and someone who has worked in hospitality and retail for many years, I can honestly say that each gender is as bad as the other. I have seen some very disgusting things in women's bathrooms (which I won't share in specifics in the interest of propriety). Men can be messy and dirty, but women are just plain gross at times. I think gender neutral bathrooms are fine if they are single occupancy. I always assume even a clean-looking bathroom has germs and act accordingly, even in my own home.
