Today marks the final day of the Education Department’s public comment period on Biden’s proposed changes to Title IX. They would recognize “gender identity” as a protected class of sex discrimination, forcing schools to allow biological males into girls’ sports, restrooms and locker rooms. Not surprisingly, this has generated the highest level of public comment in history: as of Friday, over 184,000 comments.

There’s still time to get that to over 200,000. The Defense of Freedom Institute made it easy with an online portal that allows you to choose one of four different aspects of the change to comment on.

In a somewhat related story, Margot Cleveland at the Federalist calls out the Biden DOJ for its outrageous attempt to subpoena documents and communications from two nonprofits that lobbied for an Alabama law banning dangerous puberty-blocking chemicals for minors. It’s part of a lawsuit challenging the law, but the groups aren’t even a party to the lawsuit. It’s just a naked attempt to intimidate these groups and violate their First Amendment rights to speak out on issues and lobby their representatives.

This is yet another reason why, when you hear Biden accusing anyone of being a threat to democracy and of attacking America’s foundations, you should picture him saying that into a mirror.
