It looks as if my observation that John Kerry might have finally provided us with the first prosecutable violation of the Logan Act in over 200 years has caught some people’s fancy and sparked debate. Good!  It’s been instructive to see how many Democrats who wanted to jail Trump officials for violating the Logan Act just for talking at cocktail parties to people from a country we aren’t at war with (Russia) see nothing wrong with Kerry secretly conducting diplomacy with Iran, a hostile foreign nation that supports terrorism (that thing we’re at war with), without official standing in a deliberate attempt to undermine the policies of the elected US government (i.e., “the Logan Act.”)

My comments were just an observation; I don’t really expect Kerry to be charged, because as we learned with Hillary Clinton, federal laws protecting national security don’t apply to failed Democratic presidential candidates.  But I’d love to see the Justice Department take (for once) a serious look at whether he should be charged with violating federal laws.  Oh look, maybe they actually will!

Terrific editorial cartoon that not only jabs John Kerry for his “shadow diplomacy” to undermine the elected US government, it also reminds us of what real collusion with hostile foreign governments looks like – and not just Kerry and Iran, but a president who was actually caught on camera colluding with Putin back when Democrats were A-okay with that.

Isn't this exactly what General Flynn is charged with? It seems to me that what cooks the goose would also cook the gander. Being raised in the Arkansas hills, this might be construed as the opinion of an ignorant hillbilly, but I'm not lacking in common sense. To charge a patriot such as General Flynn, and let a guy like Kerry slide (especially with his anti-American background) stretches the bounds of stupidity, much less common sense. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

Why hasn’t John Kerry been arrested for treason? He stated on national tv that if when the democrats win they will sell nuclear weapons to Iran! Isn’t that treason??

Why is it that Republicans and conservatives are persecuted and prosecuted with ease while Democrats and Liberals seem to slip through any and all loopholes. Are their lawyers that much better and why are we still playing by the rules while they totally disregard or seemingly change the rules?

I am also disgusted with the actions of John Kerry (and now Barack Obama). Sounds like total treason to me. I'm currently reading "Inside the Middle East" by Avi Melamed. The author recalls how John Kerry, serving as chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, visited Egypt during the Muslim Brotherhood elections in 2011. Kerry visited the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party in Cairo, giving the appearance of recognition and legitimizing. Kerry was not aware of the speech given by Mohammed Badie, the Muslim Brotherhood's supreme guide, in which he said: "Arab and Muslim regimes are betraying their people by failing to confront the Muslims' real enemies: not only Israel but also the United States..." John Kerry should be locked up before he harms America any further.

    Mr. Huckabee,
I have watched you through the years. A gentleman and a compassionate person. I want to add that I think your daughter is wonderful and inspiring! Thank you for all you do to get to the truth. We live in amazing times right now and with a lot of God's intercession things are going to be even better than expected. Keep up the great work!

Hi Mr. Huckabee. I have been reading a lot of your stuff recently and have to agree with you in almost every instance. In this particular story, it has amazed me that he so brazenly did what he did. He has to know about the Logan Law. So ignorance can not be his excuse. It is like they are daring the President to investigate them. Not just Mr. Kerry but the whole lot of them.

Personally, I think President Trump is playing all of them against each other. It reminds me of a Farside cartoon where two aliens sitting with one holding a mason jar. The jar has two humans in it. The other alien says; "shake it up Dewey and see if they fight".

Thanks for the thought provoking articles.
