AG BILL BARR: “I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal. It’s a big deal.”

COMMITTEE MEMBER: “’re not, you’re not suggesting, though, that...spying occurred.”

BILL BARR: (long pause)...”I think spying did occur. Yes, I think spying did occur. I’m not suggesting it wasn’t adequately predicated, but I’d need to explore that.”

First of all, anyone old enough to remember Watergate (count me in) knows that spying on a political campaign IS a big deal. The Watergate scandal –- which changed history in incalculable ways –- began as a low-tech, early-’70s version of political spying on a presidential campaign, a simple break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC, to install a wiretap. Keep in mind, this was in the Jurassic Period, before the age of digital communication, so the physical installation of listening devices (“bugs”) was necessary. But it was the same thing that happened in 2016: SPYING.

At Barr’s use of that term, Democrats suffered seizures and grabbed their smelling salts. (I’d say it made them go insane, but they already are.) When they objected to the connotations of the word “spying,” Attorney General Barr pulled back a bit and used the term “unauthorized surveillance.” That's still SPYING.

Doesn’t matter –-- ever since Barr said that, Democrats have been trying to discredit one of the most straight-up individuals we’ve seen in government in a long while. Not that they were pleased with him before he said it; since he was a Trump appointee (as any current AG would have to be), he was automatically under suspicion from the moment he was nominated. And they sure didn’t like the four-page conclusion he wrote about the Mueller report, which they had hoped would be an immediate take-down of President Trump. Nancy Pelosi said Barr had gone “off the rails” and called him “the attorney general of Donald Trump,” whose words “undermine our Constitution.” Barr was “trashing his reputation in the name of Donald Trump.” He was even labeled a “hatchet man.” (Have you noticed that hacks for the Democrat Party NEVER pull back on words that might come across to the rest of us as too strong?)

Barr and those who believe him were immediately characterized as tin-foil hat conspiracy theorists. Actually, Barr was stating a FACT: you and I have known for a fact for a long time that members of the Trump campaign were surveilled. This was even reported in The New York Times, though they ridiculously tried to walk it back in their headline: “FBI Used Informant to Investigate Russia Ties to Campaign, Not to Spy, as Trump Claims.” Of course, so-called journalists from CNN and MSNBC call this “a phony-baloney story.” They assume that if Barr expresses a thought that Trump happens to agree with, he’s doing it not because of the supporting evidence but only because of politics. So, are we all supposed to be like the populace in “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and pretend the spying didn’t happen? That’s what they're doing.

In other words, until now, these media outlets have simply ignored the story, even laughing at Trump when he tweeted that Trump Tower had been wiretapped. Now that they can’t ignore it, they’re trying desperately to discredit it, reacting with shock and horror to a story we’ve known about for a long time. But that won’t work, because it really happened.

So the question now is, was the spying done for a lawful reason? Were the FISA application and the three renewals made in accordance with the law, or were they knowingly based on a work of fiction known as the “Trump dossier”? Of course, it’s possible (at least theoretically) that the FBI had an acceptable reason to SPY on the Trump campaign; that’s what Bill Barr plans to look into. In the meantime, Democrats are making it clear that he’s not supposed to say out loud what we know actually happened.

Liars such as James Clapper are making it easier for them to stay in denial, at least for now. So is former Chuck Schumer aide Chris Hahn when he calls human informants who spied on the Trump campaign “Americans who are doing their job.” (Yes, he actually said that, on Laura Ingraham’s show.) Chris, I hate to break this to you, but some of them weren’t even Americans.

Ex-CIA chief John Brennan (who has called the President a traitor) went on MSNBC on Wednesday and said Barr “acted more like a personal lawyer for Donald Trump today rather than the attorney general.” Obviously, that’s going to be the main talking point going forward. I find Brennan’s words especially interesting considering that Barr said other investigative agencies besides the FBI might have been involved. Can you say “CIA”?

So, given that Russians were trying to influence our election (and they were), what would legitimize the FBI’s spying on Carter Page (and, by way of him, the entire campaign)? Under almost any imaginable circumstances, it would seem more appropriate for the FBI to have warned then-candidate Trump personally and worked with him to find out what was going on if they had legitimate suspicions of Russian infiltration. After all, that’s what they did with Dianne Feinstein when it was discovered she had a longtime employee who was a Chinese spy. Note this exchange with Lindsay Graham:

Graham: “Would it be odd that the candidate was never really briefed by the Department that ‘your campaign may be targeted by a foreign entity’?”

Barr: “That is one of the questions I have, is --- I feel, normally, a campaign would have been advised of this.”

Graham: “And, can you think of a good reason, right now, why they wouldn’t have been?”

Barr: “Uh, I’m interested in getting that answer. They had two former U.S. attorneys in Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani involved in the campaign, and I don’t understand why the campaign was not advised.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, in an appearance on Wednesday’s Tucker Carlson s how, pointed out that we’d know more about why this wasn’t done if Dan Coates, the Director of National Intelligence, had released transcripts of the House Intelligence Committee of closed-door testimony from James Clapper, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and John Brennan. According to Gaetz, it’s been four months since over 50 transcripts have been voted out of the House Intelligence Committee to be declassified. (I assume this was before Adam Schiff took over the chairmanship of the House Intelligence Committee!)

Incidentally, Gaetz made a great case for Schiff being removed from his chairmanship. He said having Schiff in charge of the House Intelligence Committee after telling so many demonstrable lies is like having Lori Loughlin in charge of the College Board, or Jussie Smollett in charge of the Hate Crime Division of the FBI. Gaetz gets the James Woods Award for Quote of the Day.

More that’s new: Georgia Rep. Doug Collins has released additional congressional transcripts from former top FBI attorney James Baker (the lone voice arguing in vain for Hillary to be indicted), which reveal there was talk of appointing a special counsel to investigate the Trump campaign sooner than we thought. The timeline keeps getting earlier and earlier.

Recall that James Comey said in testimony that he leaked the personal notes of his meeting with Trump (which, incidentally, were not his property to give) in the hope that a special counsel would be appointed. Guess he knew that another anti-Trump headline in The New York Times would be just the thing to get that going.

In a developing story, Collins has also released a transcript of testimony from Peter Strzok. More on this as soon as we have it.

Think of this . This whole special investigator being appointed was all planned out ahead of time if Trump didn't go down early on. I think Rosenstein said to Comey." Go talk to Trump. Leak that info to your friend and then the New York Times will run the story and then we will appoint Mueller. I'll tell trump to fire you and then we'll go after him for obstruction. After this is all over the FBI will hire you back"

Hi Governor Huckabee. I am sure that President Trump was spied on as a United States Citizen running for President of the United States. I'm sure of it. How to prove it I guess is what we need to do. My husband Chris, who is a scientist and whose work for Wacker Silicone's at their Tecumseh, Michigan offices, he helped create to help the electrical integrity of computer chips. A silicone coating was created that Chris, who is a chemical engineer/biologist graduate from University of Wisconsin/Madison and another Engineer and one of Wacker's researchers all together helped to create this coating. This silicone coating was purchased and/or licensed by Intel and also Texas Instruments for $1 million or $1 million per company. I told you all of that to tell you this: Chris being a minister had a dream of Donald J. Trump right before he announced he was going to run for President. In the dream Chris was sitting in front of a Federal Building in a car and DJT walked out of the Building. Chris waved at him. DJT waved back at Chris. DJT said: "Gotta Run". Not long after that Donald J Trump announced he would run for President of the United States. My husband is also Jewish biologically and we are Pentecostal.

The CIA has been after Chris to work for them for quite some time. Since he was about 18 at U of W. Chris has always told them no. The last time around was when Chris worked at Dell and Hillary was running for President. They had a laison guy who took Chris in an office there at Dell. He told them they wanted to send him to the Congo and I could go. Sure they did. They offered him $200K tax free dollars. Chris told Mr. Cooke. He'd think about it. He didn't tell me for 2 weeks. Then he told me. And Chris being Jewish I knew I would have to find a work around about that $200K tax free money. And it better be good. One of the Saints who has gone on to be with the Lord was a Missionary to Africa for I think over 30 years. Sister Nona Freeman. Her husband's nickname was "Bug". I think I read where he had walked all over Africa. The Board at the Church would not let them go so quickly as she was so frail. But eventually as God would have it they went and stayed for many years. But she said the Lord sent them back to the USA to work in Home Missions here.

I remembered that there was a big Church Conference in Madisonville, Ky and I called out to the Church and the young man who answered the phone told me Sis. Freeman would also be there speaking. Chris & I drove out there, spent the night, went to service the next morning at day service and went out to the family center to talk with her afterwards. I reminded her of a mutual friend we had and she asked how they were. I said fine.

I told her that the govt. wanted my husband to go to Africa and work for them. She thought on it briefly then said: "WHAT PART?" I said: "THE CONGO". My husband was standing there hanging onto her every word. She then said: "THAT'S NOT A VERY HEALTHY AREA". And that was it. Sister Nona Freeman saved our lives. Amen. Chris told Mr. Cook that he would not work for them. - about an hour or so later - Dell let my husband go. -------- Thank the Lord we already had our own printer business going for about a year on that subcontractor platform ---- and About another year or so later my husband was chosen to go to the Redmond Airforce Base through a company that represented Lockheed Martin to help with printer setup's. Chris had to have a higher security clearance and went and helped them set up new printers. He is or was #1 in the nation for HP in a certain category, can't remember which one. But Chris is very good at fixing printers and has actually helped out with Senator Mitch McConnell's printers in his Bowling Green, Kentucky Office.

When Chris got there to Redmond the NSA was there and had a meeting with him. They told him they understood why he didn't want to work for the CIA. God is good. So that was in 2013 I think. I think Chris had the dream in 2015 of DJT running for POTUS. We are very thankful and we love President Trump very much. We pray daily for him and have Prayer chains for him all the time. President Trump is a very distant cousin to me. I have never met him in person before. Paula White follows me on Twitter. That's good. We are thinking of moving to Virginia. Chris's sister Kathy lives there and her husband used to work for the UN for Paupau New Guinea but Richard Calkins has since retired.

Chris and I have been VERY INVOLVED in the plight of Families here in the U.S. that have found themselves involved in court proceedings dealing with divorce and custody battles. I wrote my own appeal to the State of Michigan Court of Appeals and set case law concerning FALSE PARENTAL RIGHTS TERMINATION (my ex married the prosecutors secretary. I am currently writing a Book entitled: THE WALLS ARE DOWN.) with an attorney Chris hired for me when we first got married.

I am very concerned for children who do not grow up with fathers. I am for shared parenting. There is an organization in Virginia called Parental Rights. org and there is a Parental Amendment that is trying to be passed. We live here in Kentucky and it seems that Senator Rand Paul has concerns about the welfare of children also.

I had my own organization in Michigan called P.A.P.A. - Parents Against Parental Alienation. I think the courts could really be charged with trying to drive people crazy and affect their mental health in a very unhealthy way. I am sure that has a legal definition if not just "CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT". And then it costs the tax payers millions of dollars for CIRCUIT COURT JUDGES IN COURT DOCKETS ACROSS THE LAND to handle this load of cases. I Firmly believe that WHEN THIS CHANGES - WHEN PEOPLE UNDERSTAND WHAT IT DOES TO A CHILD WHEN ONE OF THEIR PARENTS IS ALLOWED TO BE UNDERMINED FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN POLITICS, THAT MANY OTHER THINGS WILL CHANGE FOR THE GOOD. Also, I'd love to work for your daughter Sarah. :) Thanks & God Bless You. Grace Rene' Esswein

I learn a lot from reading the real facts laid out on your site and others I know about. It bothers me that "potheads" use your site to push the latest new miracle "drug" Cannabis. There are decades of research showing how it is not the wonder drug they are pushing. Colorado is having to raise taxes to treat the high number of users having psychotic breaks from it. So the cash cow is no longer that. In the 1960's there was a well researched book "The Cannabis Papers" reviewed 5000 years of research in ancient China. It was part of occultic practices. Maybe you should bring credible people on your show. It is a growing problem in the churches in America from what I have read
Thank for the good real news though, Mike

Ya gotta love AG Barr! Matter of fact, to the point, no grandstanding, no 'self' involved blarney! I'm older than you Gov, though, as with me, I'm sure you have seen other issues/iterations of Mr. Barr. This particular iteration puts me in mind of a long ago favorite TV detective, Columbo. He was always unassuming, but his real advantage was his targets always 'underestimated' him, until, as he often turned to leave, he would stop, and say something like: "Uh, there is one more thing....," at which time, the guilty knew their time was up. Barr: "I do believe there was spying." NOW, all the cockroaches are scurrying, because they know the 'light' is about to be turned on!!

Wasn't Watergate spying? That was a small thing compared to this. And what Bill Clinton did in office was impeachable. But the Dems stuck up for Clinton- so unlike Republicans who would not stand by wrongs in Nixon's case. I'm a little older than you Governor so I remember it too. I watched it carefully. The public needs to remember what happened.

I wanted to write to the two Senators of the state in which I live to push for an investigation to get to the bottom of how and why this whole Trump Collusion got started but since I now live in the One of California the best I could do is the write to my U.S. House Rep Tom McClintock asking him that I'd like him to support any efforts in this direction as we cannot let this go unabated, no way! We finally have a President with balls now the Republicans have to grow some and get some backbone! In my opinion! Jim C

Hello Mike, Thank you for the inspiration. It's so sad that so many people were driven by hate and still are. President Trump has helped restore hope to the people that love this country and stand with the Constitution. I also read a previous article you wrote about Cannabis and the stats in Colorado where it is legal recreationally. Agree people should not get high when they need to be alert during situations such as driving. Mike, medical Cannabis is legal in 48 States. It is to many people a miraculous medicine with little to no side effects. It helps get people off of many medications that sometimes have horrible side effects including dependence. Seen first hand Cannabis's ability to dissolve tumors, awesome anti-inflammatory and pain relievers. I know it also gives great relief from seizures. It should be DELISTED as a schedule 1 drug by the Feds. Which currently means it has no Medical value which is a lie. Don't be Baited into the New War on Cannabis that the Left is baiting you into. Instead of alienating the people that voted for medical Cannabis stand for them. We need them on our side and there is no greater time than now. Please keep up the great work you do. One America, One Mike Huckabee, One Love for all of God's children even the ones that are lost.

Someone in media needs compare the Watergate Deep Throat monument in Arlington, Va to AG Bob Barr's willingness to expose spying. The AG is doing his work legally and Bob Woodward was an accessory to a crime as he was giving FBI information illegally. The press had no more right to that information than did other citizens. See link below.

I often work in that area and that monument is offensive to me. Nixon and all of America was under attack during the so called Watergate scandal. I will always remember president Nixon and his resignation demonstrates what the corrupt democrats can do. Now the shoe is on the other foot and honorable president Trump and his statesmen such as the AG are truly real Americans and now it looks as though justice is going to prevail.

The really awful thing that has happened to the Democratic Party over the last 25 years is that it has become the party of liars. How can they possibly deny the fact that the Trump campaign and the President Trump were spied upon? The only legitimate question is whether there is any fig leaf that could possibly be used to justify it. If it turns out that the only shred of evidence is the Steele dossier, which was really opposition research, then a huge dragnet needs to be used to document all of the malfeasance so that history will accurately record the venality, whether or not we prosecute the whole tribe.

It's not like this is the first time. Does anyone now deny that LBJ spied on the Goldwater campaign? All we ever hear about is Nixon, but LBJ was even worse, but then, LBJ was a Democrat.

We need to fight to ensure the truth is fully exposed and recorded for posterity.

Was FBI and Mueller investigation spying? Well if the entire premise of the FISA court approval was based on a lie, which those bringing the investigation forward knew was a lie, and the conspirators involved knew it was a lie and was predicated solely on bringing down the Trump presidency then it was spying and even treasonous on their part. Government employees take an oath of office as follows:
I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
    5 U.S.C. §3331
These individuals obviously violated that oath in their actions.

I am not so sure this is factual, Rush and many others think hacking was inside job and Hillary campaign helper who mysteriously got killed may have stole the DNC or Hillary data. Pelosi's political statement about AG Barr was her sound bite for the uninformed and her constituents. So glad to see the AG following the letter of the law. When Holder and Lynch held that position, they bent and broke the law to fit their deception. It's actually quite hilarious knowing the Dems and MSM are going ballistic! Dear Mike, I love reading your newsletters because you are right on target about what is happening in our government against President Trump. It's a travesty. What I really do not understand is why, when it's so obvious to you and so many others, that nothing happens to Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Hillary (!), Obama etc. when the evidence against them is so overwhelming. It was much less evidence and a much smaller crime with Nixon than what we are seeing now. Is the money that is against them (Soros, etc.) so huge and invasive that justice will never come to pass? Why does nothing ever happen to bring to justice the leaders behind the curtain? It's like watching the Wizard of Oz. Please can we just yank the curtain back and bring the wizard(s) to justice? Nothing the democrats say even make any rational sense. it's like they are demon / money possessed and will do anything to continue the lie. And they have several republicans in their land of Oz as well. There is no reason when we had the Presidency and republican congress that we could not get anything approved. There is no difference between republican and democrat - it's a battle of truth vs. lies or facts vs. fiction. And there are powerful puppeteers behind the leaders. It truly is a dark side and should be exposed to the light. We pray for President Trump and you and Hannity and Justice Janine and Dennis Prager who are really standing for justice. The truth needs to prevail - but will it ever happen?

As I see it, there two things about all this. For two + years the Democrats a their media lap dogs were all saying Trump and the Russians were spying on Americans to blindside an election without any evidence. Now they are soiling themselves because there is going to be an investigation of spying being perpetrated on a presidential campaign where there is evidence. Don't you just love when the old saying "what goes around comes around" or as the Bible tells that you will reap what you sow. It's harvest time.

Our girl Pelosi also had the same procedure done on her as she has derailed like I said the other day let them keep talking the rope is coming to an end. I can't wait till tomorrow to see how what and who will come up with something stupid as todays remarks has been. My point your daily editions are where I can go to get away from the insanity the propaganda 60% brain removal of the Anti American Left. They let them kept 40 % so they can be programed and to do basic needs like the restroom feeding themselves and to just dress themselves, even the programmers don't want to be around these people any longer than they have too.
